NittPicc, don't ever feel bad about crying when Band Maid is playing. They have driven thousands of grown men to do the very same thing. Including this 61 year old ex-Marine. Many times.
Alan is a poser. He sells cheesy fake Band-Maid t-shirts. He tells naive fans that he makes zero money from them. Alan pre watches music videos and uses computers to analyze them. He then pretends to be smarter than Kanami. He practices playing the riffs on guitar then pretends to play them seconds after hearing them. Alan of Dicodec is a fraud. Alan tried to sleep with Wave's wife Rosie. Alan brags about being in about 40 bands - no wonder they broke up after they got to know him.
"The One" was sung in Saiki's emotionally vulnerable voice. Her mastery of not only the lyrics but the tenor of any song should make anyone recognize her incredible vocal talent.
once again these ladies know how to communicate pure emotion with their intruments. Each one of them: Akane, Misa, Saiki, Kanami and Miku all are pure masters of song. Saiki for me absolutely slays this song and once again, Kanami has an outro solo that solidifies her spot as my favorite guitarist of all time.
Wondering is there still people who don’t consider Kanami as a maybe most impressive songwriter/musician of our time? For me..She is on her own level 🔥❤️
For me, "The one" is the one. It has become one of my favorite Band-Maid songs. From the first listening, it hit me hard, in a good way. The harmonies are other worldly, and for me, Saiki's vocals are on another level, so much depth and emotion.
Kanami lost her grandmother during the writing process of this album and although she didn't write the lyrics, it is evident that her loss was felt by all her sisters in the band. Their lyrics were inspired by her compositions and the result is so beatiful. A snapshot of where they were at that moment.
To me, "The One" sounds like the opening act of a new era for the band. They are now touching the skies with their art. This band is reaching artistic incandescence. Epic narratives, I am sure, will be leading to bright perspectives.
When you name an album Epic Narratives in all sincerity and then when the scoffers start weeping you know you've hit the mark. Their music is epic. The simple truth. Genius is no hyperbole when speaking about Kanami Tono!
No other band is nearly as good as BM with regard to always finding the right tempi including the transitions from one to another. I think this is one of the key points that makes Band-Maid's magic.
Kanami's grandmother was the biggest supporter of her music career in the family. Kanami desperately wanted to have her attend the Yokohama Arena show. She said she could get good tickets. The family is from close by and it would be "look grandma, we made it!" Sadly grandma passed before the show. They played "Endless Story" as the finale which was written before grandma passed. "The One" was written after.
The One isn't the song Kanami wrote with her Grandmother in mind, it was Forbidden Tale. Check out the BARKS interview that came out on September 25th, the band discusses every song on the album and what they are about.
Miku's vocal range is very understated. Go through the catalog and you can hear Miku's register all over the place with the harmonization. It's quite exquisite.
Somehow, there is always a sense of tenderness and warmth in BAND-MAID's songs. This song is a perfect example of that, with lyrics by MIKU, composition by KANAMI, and vocals by SAIKI, it comes to make me cry. This song is truly beautiful, both in its lyrics and melody. With this album, BAND-MAID has evolved again. BAND-MAID always brings me happiness, warm tears, and inspiration. Thank you again for the great reactions.
This song is so beautiful. Like in some of the best Gaelic laments, every Band-Maid member really knows how to use music and lyrics to tug at your heartstrings.
The depth of the heart sometimes can’t be expressed with words but with tears. And brother, Saiki and the rest of Band-Maid have been opening the faucets lately. Thank you Princess Nitt Picc for the reaction.
Band-Maid are masters of making you wait for the musical resolution you're expecting. They've also said they aspire to be a band that can "explode" at any time and we're getting a taste of that here... perhaps not as much so as in other, heavier songs where it's all explosions, but that fast prechorus that they only use once is certainly a surprise. Anyway, gorgeous song, maybe a bit overshadowed by Forbidden Tale as that one has more development and a music video, but it might actually be the best song on the album.
This song is brilliant. It just continues to pull emotionally. Singing from Saiki and Miku is exactly in each moment. Then some surprising but effective instrumentation as it flows.
With the mention of Daydreaming, with the gorgeous rendition they performed at Yokohama last year--Kanami's guitar intro absolutely beautiful--I have high anticipation of what they will do with this song live.
This song brings back the emotions that my late wife and I shared ! We loved going places and doing things together. Now, this song along with Daydreaming will forever be my songs to my beloved Debra ! Thanks for an outstanding reaction !

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I have to say that most bands would be pleased if they wrote one ballad as beautiful as About Us, Puzzle, Anemone or Daydreaming. But BandMaid continues to create this level of "artistic incandescense" to quote another Maidiac at will. What a phenomenon! The ones we love are worthy of our tears. Thank you for sharing this reaction NittPicc!
This song is hauntingly beautiful. I particularly love that build up before the first prechorus, gets me every time like a wall of emotion slams into my soul. Love your BM reactions 🫶👌 Keep 'em coming!
This album has many great songs that have been added to my motorcycle journey playlist. The One has just been added to the top of the playlist, right next to Awkward, Endless Story and Daydreaming. To make sure I don't lose focus on the road I have From Now On ready to keep me awake 😎
I know that tons of this song will be on a backing track, but I really am anticipating seeing them perform this live. Akane kills on this, perfect backing for the vocals. Kanami's exit solo gives me a Steve Vai vibe - Kanami repeatedly astounds me every time she pushes her boundaries beyond our expectations. Band-Maid captures you with their hard rock: "Thrill", "Puzzle", "Moratorium", "Rinne", "I'll", "Matchless GUM", and so many more. But then they go "Off Label" with songs that make you reach for the box of tissues: "Daydreaming", "Page", "Smile", and especially "About Us" which reach into your soul and take you to places which you didn't know you needed to go. "The one" has risen to the top of that list. If you have seen the DVD / BluRay of their concert with the acoustic "Puzzle" duet with Kanami and Saiki, you'll remember that they lead into "Puzzle" with a prerecorded version of "YOLO" played on a celeste. It's mournful and childlike and the pause before Kanami strums the first few cords of "Puzzle" begins is perfectly timed to evoke nostalgic feelings just as Saiki starts pulling even harder on your heartstrings. Band-Maid are masters at doing things like this. They spare us by not trying to do it too often.
Miss Nitt Picc loved your reaction to this beautiful song. I always look forward to your reactions they are so visceral and you share your musical knowledge with us about this band that we all love but I have to say this more than all of that it is your genuine emotions from someone who is a gift to this community. I think we look forward to Band Maid Sunday each week so don’t be embarrassed for being who you are. I hope you have a good week.
Incredible, gorgeous song. Really gets me, too. Saiki's voice is incredible here. And that sparking cloud of Kanami glitter at three minutes in... unbelievably beautiful.
I have listned to "The One" over a dozen times and each time I tear up. I don't understand why that happens ever time. There must be some magic in Kanami's and MISA's) fingers and Saiki and Miku's voices that does this.
I was watching a Band-Maid interview on the TH-cam channel Fox 5 New York, and they were asked if they wanted to play live with an orchestra. They answered maybe someday. But this album has just made me want that to happen much sooner rather than later.
According to a Band Maid Reddit entry from Sept 26. Miku rewrote the lyrics to The One three times to contrast with the more aggressive tone of Toi et Moi. It's meant to convey a sense of loss...but not the loss of a grandmother specifically. The BARKS interview indicates that Forbidden Tale was foremost in mind when Kanami wrote about her grandmother.
With Band-Maid is kinda given that you have to expect the unexpected, and it always will be better than you ever thought. They're masters at their craft, simple as that Musically "The one" is a perfect composition, but Miku's lyrics... man, she's one of the best lyricists of the 21st century. I feel bad for those people who will never experience Band-Maid because of the language barrier or whatever lame excuse... they've missing out something truly awesome Nice reaction as always NittPicc!, y feliz día de los muertos y feliz halloween! (soy español y realmente no celebro ninguna de esas festividades but anyways lol)
Well, I think, if not here and now, then where, it's time to break my silence... Since the album release until today, I haven't seen a video for this song, nor have I written a comment about it anywhere. And the reason is very simple. I wanted (needed) to wait and see what effect this song has on me after a while. Because after hearing it for the first time, I felt the same way as you and as I've only felt about two other of their songs so far, one of which came with a 'pre-announcement from the ladies', which is why I don't really count this one... Without knowing what the ladies were singing about, I was in tears. So, since I don't count 'About Us', only one of their songs has had exactly the same effect on me so far. Daydreaming. So after having 'The One' in my playlist for pretty much a month now and listening to it at least once every day, I think I'm confident enough to say that up until now, no other song has come as close to my number one spot from Band-Maid as this one. I'm not putting it exactly next to Daydreaming yet, as it's been on the throne for far too long, but both songs share similar characteristics that touch me in a similar way... Whether it's the vocals, which thanks to Saiki's development nowadays can get under my skin even more, or the feeling that every single note, no matter how simple it may be, seems to have a very specific meaning. The fade effect at the beginning and end, the piano, the few violin notes during the acoustic part.... I could go on with the list. As you said yourself at the beginning about Daydreaming, I can't really put it into words either. But what I can say is that I would really like to give dear Kanami a hug to tell her that I am sorry for her loss and at the same time thank her for everything she has done so far. She really is someone very special who sometimes clearly, and sometimes perhaps not so directly recognizable, speaks through her creations. _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Forever!"_ 」 - from *BAND-MAID* - 'Manners' ♬🕊
Their craft is improving and their control of instruments. They are still evolving, studying and practicing. Then you got gems as The one. - For me Wonderland (you already did it) is my personal low tempo gem. But after today I will think about The one as well.
Hey, Kanami would be proud of this reactor! The One, a wonderful ballad. Saiki sings better and better, it's absorbing to listen carefully to all the resources she uses. And I love that Kanami ends the songs with a solo, what a good taste it leaves!
Genius REAL music- dare I say it, even a bit prog. What with the straight jazz section in Forbidden Tale. Kanami is slowly heading in my direction, that I predicted she may go in.
Kanami actually said she wrote this, expecting to play it at the very end of the Yokahama show last year, 'in case this would be the last BM performance'. Which, tying in what's happened this year and the Maidit announcement, leads me to believe - I think when they were told by Platinum Passport that they would be closing down this year - there was no surety that BM was going to live on past their contract. So when you think about how this could have been the band saying good bye to each other and the fans....whooo boy the feels. Luckily it seems they pulled together (like always) and figured out a way - hey, lets go do this ourselves!
The only reason this isn’t the biggest song in the world right now is people haven’t heard it and don’t speak Japanese. This is the most beautiful, incredible song I might have ever heard. Spellbinding.
Welcome Home Awesome Princess NittPicc! This is "The One" I am hoping they will shoot a video for next. I'd love to get a score for this song so I could try playing it on my piano. The vocal lines alone make my right hand want to figure out the progression so much that they unconsciously move every time the song comes up on my playlist. Please take very good care of yourself and I hope you have an amazing week.
Their anthemic reposes are just UNBELIVABLE! There are two in Forbidden Tale that get me every time! Hands in the air, this is a pure joy kind of moment. Kamani's musicality, Miku's words and Saiki's Amazing delivery! They truly have outdone themselves on this album. It is a masterpiece! The acoustic versions are slowly leaking out...OMG!
Tears? Join the rest of us. A few songs have that affect, especially when Kobato's lyrics are particularly inspired. Halloween? The only spooky song I can think of is 'Rinne', about capturing the spirit as it leaves the body at the point of death. I think you've already reacted to it, though.
In many traditional households, All Hallowed's Eve (Halloween) is followed by All Saints Day on November 1st, followed by All Souls Day (Dia de los muertos) on November 2nd. This is the centuries old custom in many countries . 😁❤️
Thank you for your wonderful comments. Rock was born in America. Some American rock fans say that Japan has further changed and developed rock. The lyrics are also wonderful, so I think you will be moved if you can understand them. I think these women and this group are creating a new era of rock.
Not kidding. I had a dream one time of being in a sunlit field and surrounded by all the pets I had lost over the years. You can always count on your animals.
Thanks Ms Picc, may you have a safe and happy Halloween / Dios De los Muertos! The composition on The One is incomparable. Kanami does that thing where she evades expectations, builds up momentum again, then resolves. There are so many little elements to this song and more every time I listen. Just one simple example that always get me: Miku's downward vocal glissandos in the choruses -- something about how well placed they are makes them hit.
Miku's words touch you deep in your soul and Saiki finishes you off. The One has definitely replaced Deadreaming for me. I dedicate this song to my departed loved ones and I hope they hear it.😢Thanks NittPicc
Great analysis. One of my favorites off this album. Remember that Kanami plays all the guitar parts on official recordings. Not sure how this will be played live. Thanks again for reacting to Band-Maid.
You need to try to see the acoustic version of "Daydreaming" with Saiki on piano. The finale of their acoustic show from earlier this year. It is my favorite version. I was just enthralled.
If Letters to You was Anemone, The One would be Daydreaming for sure. Saiki seems to get very emotional while singing some songs, like Puzzle, Anemone...and The One.
I'm glad they didn't close the Yokoari show with this song because there would be a mass-casualty onion attack. Endless Story was the right choice, even though I, and many others, had displayed signs and symptoms of an onion attack. The one is the One, Po! 🦍🍌
Spooky BAND-MAID! It's Rinne'. It's inspired by a Japanese Horror movie. You can rent it on TH-cam. It was shot on 8mm film because they used a lot of it in the movie.
I LOVVVVVE this song, in the behind the scenes of Bestie, Akane mentions that she was not playing technically or at 100 mph in plain speak but with more emotion.....I think the whole has taken to this and I think it's great....and they do it soooo well. Btw NittPicc, I felt the chopping onions heart in my throat when I first listened to this song 😢
The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. But I already love Forbidden Tale, and especially The One. 😉🤘 btw - We should all wish a "Good Luck" to Band-Maid's new self-run management company: Maidit, Co., LTD! Will they managing other bands, boost Cluppo and Maiko projects, or tour more internationally? Or maybe they will expand their business interest to other sectors of the music biz outside of Band-Maid. I believe Kanami wants to get more into composing, scoring and production. And as for Miku and Saiki, the sky's the limit for what they'll want to do in merch, fashion and art, etc.. Thx, Nitt Picc!
To me, this songs has some Halloween vibes. The sound effects voices at the beginning and the end reminds me of slashers and particularly Friday 13th “ch ch ch ah ah ah” 😆👻
This is my favorite song off the new album. when it comes on, I reach for the repeat button. It has a similar emotional impact as daydreaming. The only Band Maid song with more emotional impact is Puzzle Acoustic.
Hi! I'm the guy that was standing in front of you in line to get into Lovebites. I threw my smoke in the trash(which I kinda regret). Anyways, Band Maid is soooo good. You must see them live also! Keep up the good work!
@jeffersoncosgrove1910 You're thinking of Forbidden Tale, Kanami talked about it in their last Barks interview. INTERVIEWER: When I heard “Forbidden tale”, I felt its grandeur, just like the title of the album “Epic Narratives”. At the beginning of this interview, you mentioned “a song that develops in a way that has never been done before,” and I am sure you are referring to this song, right? KANAMI: Yes, that's right. Actually, SAIKI had been telling me for some time that he wanted a song with a lot of development. And at the time when I was making this song, I happened to have had the death of someone close to me, and I was thinking “What is life? What is life? What is life? I wanted to try to express in music what life is like and how life is full of peaks and valleys. Even though there are peaks and valleys and many changes, there must be a core that never changes, and I wanted to express that in the riffs of ....... I'm starting to feel a little embarrassed saying it myself (embarrassed laugh).
THE ONE makes me think of Kanami who lost her grandma before their Yokohama grand event. Kanami was looking forward to her grandma being in the audience but, sadly, it did not happen. THE ONE will always be, for me, Kanami's song to her grandmother. p.s. Yes, I tear up just thinking about it.

3:24 I watched Ohrenje documentary on saiki and how she was losing her voice like this was her dream only for that to happen made me sad but she had her surgery and recovered I liked her voice before surgery but her voice now is so much more beautiful after watching the documentary I listen to daydreaming and I cried because of the emotion in the song. Definitely one of my favorites…. the one the lyrics super emotional and hit home I am not crying you are🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻🥹
Yup. this adds into my absolute masterpiece chart in BAND-MAID, no I mean in all my life. It's their power ballads that are truly masterpieces. Daydreaming, The one, anemone, and awkward. Bring in Mirage for emotional charity. ^^ When I listen to these songs consecutively, I would experience a "Soumatou", a Japanese term of a series of moments when your whole life flashes before your eyes just before you die... xD
NittPicc, don't ever feel bad about crying when Band Maid is playing. They have driven thousands of grown men to do the very same thing. Including this 61 year old ex-Marine. Many times.
Ditto from this 74-year old bassist/lead singer and late of USAF.
Alan of Dicodec was crying after the 1st verse. With Band Maid....Expect the Unexpected. Love the vocal melodies. The outro is chef's kiss

Hear hear! If one can't use purple prose for BandMaid then when can one? Very well said!
Agree
Kanami is beyond a genius level composer. Wait until you hear the separated tracks. She is the best of this century for sure.
Absolutely no argument with that statement. We are witness to true greatness.
When you name an album Epic Narratives in all sincerity and then when the scoffers start weeping you know you've hit the mark. Their music is epic. The simple truth. Genius is no hyperbole when speaking about Kanami Tono!

In the past, I have told my kids that I want "La Golondrina" played by Mariachi at my memorial service. Now, that has changed.

Hi, I'm 75 years young but there are two songs that bring me to tears. Both of the world's best bands. Band Maid with Smile acoustics and The One.
Miku's vocal range is very understated. Go through the catalog and you can hear Miku's register all over the place with the harmonization. It's quite exquisite.
Miku is not only the founder and leader but that incredible glue that holds and integrates it all together...I love her, and her voice and guitar
This one hits me right in the feels 😢 It was my turn to cry twice.
An amazing composition by Kanami. Saiki's singing is so emotional. Daydream and The One are sisters of beautiful emotions
Somehow, there is always a sense of tenderness and warmth in BAND-MAID's songs. This one is very emotional and definitely deserves a music video ❤
I can't think of many BM songs that don't deserve a video, but yes, this one especially.
@@JayDavisAtHomeI concur

Today is quietly drawing to an end
Slipping away, it melts into night
Your smile always comes to me before I fall asleep
I'll surely, surely have the same dream
This isn't for eternity; it's fleeting
But even now, remaining shards
Keep a painful, beloved place in my heart
These feelings I can't put into words
If love isn't what this is
Then I don't care to know it
Forever unknowing, I'll just hold you
Time is flying by
One day you'll forget all about me
If I can turn back the clock just for tonight
I wanna go somewhere with you
I'm always, always having the same dream
Told you, this isn't impossible
I could be whatever you want, ever
I felt like I glimpsed one moment of eternity
We just keep running into sadness
Even so, our feelings never changed
I'll never forget
I'll never forget
These feelings I can't put into words
I knew this is what love is
Our linked hearts will never be parted
I'm right here with you
I'll never forget you
I'll never forget you
Ah I believe that miracles have an epilogue
Always, any time is fine with me
I will read it to you over and over again
Until you remember me
Even if we're reborn
We'll see each other again, for sure
These feelings I can't put into words
If love isn't what this is
Then I don't care to know it
Forever unknowing, I'll just hold you
I'll be seeing you
I'll be seeing you

Perfect phrase. Sparkling Kanami glitter. Thanks, that was cool.
When I shuffle off this mortal coil at last, I would like to be surrounded by a sparkling cloud of Kanami glitter.

Like Metallica!! That's would be incredible epic!!!
They're masters at their craft, simple as that
Musically "The one" is a perfect composition, but Miku's lyrics... man, she's one of the best lyricists of the 21st century. I feel bad for those people who will never experience Band-Maid because of the language barrier or whatever lame excuse... they've missing out something truly awesome
Nice reaction as always NittPicc!, y feliz día de los muertos y feliz halloween!

Hear hear! Your words match my thoughts and feelings.
🤘BAND-MAID🤘
私の琴線に触れる曲を何曲作るのだろうか?彼女達5人は特別な存在です。
全く同感です。
I'm just a few days away from flying out for the Zepp Nagoya and Osaka shows, and I know I'll need tissues ready when they perform this 🥺
Band Maid's 'The One' makes me cry too.
俺はこの曲聴いて涙出たよ
すごく好き
Genius REAL music- dare I say it, even a bit prog. What with the straight jazz section in Forbidden Tale. Kanami is slowly heading in my direction, that I predicted she may go in.
The jazz section is exquisite. I really wish we could hear Akane's part better. It's so jazz.
She experimented with Balance and perfected it in The One, but adding the last chorus may not have been necessary. But it sounds EPIC because of it.
I was moved by this song before I ever read the lyrics. They are such an amazing band. I hope this gets an OMV soon.
Beautiful song
Great reaction 🙂
Thanks for this. Words fail sometimes with this band. But that's what music is for right? This is so beautiful it hurts.
tu no lloraste pero yo no pude evitarlo, hay que disfrutar de este gran grupo ,y ver que canciones nos van dando, gran video .
The One hits different. B-M are masters of making you feel things your didn't know you could.
If I may be so bold... Everything about this reaction was beautiful. Everything. Thank you, NittPic. 🕊
Great reaction as always. The One is quite possibly the best song they have ever written...... and that is saying a hell of a lot! Rock on 🤘
Very emotional beautiful song. Love it. Thanks for sharing your reaction 😎
Great react as always , Here it's the fist snow fall and you made me cry but it's ok the song is awesome and it's band maid after all
Letters to You and The One are perfect together. The only thing I can say is The One is a beautiful song
This one went straight into my top 5 all time favorites, I loved it the first time I heard it. And by the way you look great in Kanamincho style ❤
You need to try to see the acoustic version of "Daydreaming" with Saiki on piano. The finale of their acoustic show from earlier this year. It is my favorite version. I was just enthralled.
Got me too😢
If Letters to You was Anemone, The One would be Daydreaming for sure.
Kanami you Grandma is proud
Just a beautiful song. The whole album is a masterpiece.
And this is literally the perfect song for Day of the Dead. Just cry - I do. It's "good crying."
Spooky BAND-MAID! It's Rinne'. It's inspired by a Japanese Horror movie. You can rent it on TH-cam. It was shot on 8mm film because they used a lot of it in the movie.
Ooooozzz😍The most Beautiful PRINCESS in MAIDIVERSE. HELLO PRINCESS HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD🎃👻
I LOVVVVVE this song, in the behind the scenes of Bestie, Akane mentions that she was not playing technically or at 100 mph in plain speak but with more emotion.....I think the whole has taken to this and I think it's great....and they do it soooo well. Btw NittPicc, I felt the chopping onions heart in my throat when I first listened to this song 😢
Akane did emotional drumming in Daydreaming, too. I mean, is there even a term as such? But she does.
We got it it's a beautiful song
This is my favorite song off the new album. when it comes on, I reach for the repeat button. It has a similar emotional impact as daydreaming. The only Band Maid song with more emotional impact is Puzzle Acoustic.
Thanks so much lovely reaction!
Is this Kanami's twin sister? Love the look NittPicc!! Happy Halloween Po!
Thanks for sharing this reaction with us, NP! 😄
Hi! I'm the guy that was standing in front of you in line to get into Lovebites. I threw my smoke in the trash(which I kinda regret). Anyways, Band Maid is soooo good. You must see them live also! Keep up the good work!
My understanding is that this song was dedicated to Kamami's grandmother who passed away a year ago.
I think it's Letters To You. Not sure though.
@@360pGuitarCovers now I'm not sure, but this seems like a song for someone who passed away early.
I am praying they do an acoustic version!
MISA MISA MISA!!!!! there is sooooo much Guitar in the Left Ear (usually Miku) is it Kanami or Miku I have to know! WE HAVE TO HAVE AN MV.
🙏Love your Kanami mobcap. I'm with you on Daydreaming, for a slower BM song. I think I've played that one hundreds of times. 🙏 again!🕊&❤
The one , band maids wish you were here , an absolute masterpiece of a song po!
BAND-MAID - The one (English Translation)
[Verse 1]
Today is quietly coming to an end, Hmm
Dissolving into the overflowing and fading night
Before I fall asleep, your smile always comes back to me
Sure, for sure I'll have the same dream
[Pre-Chorus]
Fleeting, Nothing lasts forever
A place we lived, achingly cherished
A piece of it still remains in my heart
[Chorus]
The feeling no words can describe
If this isn't love
I don't care if I never know
With a void unfilled, I hold it in my arms
[Verse 2]
Time flies by, Hmm
It will be forgotten someday
If I could go back just for tonight
I wanna go somewhere with you
I've been dreaming the same dream forever and ever
[Pre-Chorus]
Told you, nothing is impossible
I could be whatever you want, ever
I thought I glimpsed a slice of eternity

Still the unwavering feeling remained in my heart
I'll never forget

The feeling no words can describe
Now I know this is love
The united hearts forever
I stay here holding on to it
[Post-Chorus]
I'll never forget you
I'll never forget you

Ah
I believe in what lies beyond miracles
Forever and anytime
I will read it to you over and over again
Until you remember me
When we are reborn
We'll find each other again, right?

P.S. Kanami lost her grandmother last year... 😢
Can't wait to hear this One live
Kanami magic…
3:24 I watched Ohrenje documentary on saiki and how she was losing her voice like this was her dream only for that to happen made me sad but she had her surgery and recovered I liked her voice before surgery but her voice now is so much more beautiful after watching the documentary I listen to daydreaming and I cried because of the emotion in the song. Definitely one of my favorites…. the one the lyrics super emotional and hit home I am not crying you are🤘🏻🫶🏼🤘🏻🥹
Please do Anemone ❤️
Yup. this adds into my absolute masterpiece chart in BAND-MAID, no I mean in all my life. It's their power ballads that are truly masterpieces. Daydreaming, The one, anemone, and awkward. Bring in Mirage for emotional charity. ^^ When I listen to these songs consecutively, I would experience a "Soumatou", a Japanese term of a series of moments when your whole life flashes before your eyes just before you die... xD
Ya, fun hats :)
