8 cheap wine for 16 gold or other items for at least 6500 gold... I think I'll pay the 65. I remember being younger and spending days trying to figure out how to become "ugly."
I like the prerequisites for this quest because it proves nobody except Namira likes drunks. What I like about quests like this is it puts into perspective the fact that despite being portrayed as irredeemably evil for the most part, some of the Daedric princes actually care for their faithful, even if that care is often conditional: Namira, Malacath, Boethiah and Azura are the first that come to mind.
Honestly I sympathize with the Forgotten Ones. They're not hurting anyone, there's no like piles of bones or corpses from sacrifices, they just live in a dark pit and want to be left alone, but then a bunch of priests start trespassing and causing a disturbance in their home. Yeah, I'd get aggressive too lol if some door-to-door preachers started camping in my living room and turning the lights on at all hours of the day
Feels like a missed opportunity on their part to make the worshipers of Namira really ugly. Blanche is pretty good but we all know Oblivion npcs are some of the most hideous things ever created. They could have went way overboard with these guys since being repulsive is kind of their whole thing.
Small detail, but I like that you brought over from the fallout videos the way you narrate what you say to the npcs! It makes it easier to follow along to when just listening, even if I have so many of the lines burned into my brain! Thanks for another quality upload man, you've been really cranking them out lately! And I actually just woke up a few minutes ago and was about to go back to bed, so it looks like im watching this right away😂
I was always too pretty, therefore never did this quest. It is a pretty unique one ngl. Btw, I really appreciate the variety that you provide here on your channel.
It’s interesting because they never explicitly state that we need to lower our personality, so without the wiki, would’ve been a tricky one to find out! I appreciate it! :)
Another way to get the personality requirement that's pretty fast is creating a spell that damages an attribute for x seconds. Choose personality, set it to what you need it for and then make it 1 second on self. Cast it, and then immediately speak with Namira to begin the quest
Sometimes i wonder what those Daedra would do under conditions more difficult than some lonely weak priests. I mean, if the legion decided to clear out the ruin, they couldn't just call on some lone warrior to stop them.
This video disgusts me its truly foul 😂 This quest was a huge missed opportunity to have the priest and worshippers look ugly and be rude to you constantly (An alright quest was my 1st Daedric quest when 1st playing Oblivion)
Those guys are so relateable.
"leave creature of light!" Is the first thing on my mind in the morning
😂 when that first ray of light enters into the room

I totally agree! I really liked the idea that she cares for her followers and keeps an eye out for them!
I see it kind of like nurgle in warhammer. Not the first choice of course, but the choice that will welcome you and does care in an alien sort of way

Yeah the priests of Arkay were definitely looking for trouble by going into the ruin lol
Organised religions like to poke their noses where they’re not wanted.

Totally agree! Blanche was a good choice but the other 2 weren’t that wild looking, it would’ve been awesome to see some crazy looking NPCs lol

Me too! A really cool one about the forgotten ones!

Very true! The forgotten ones are definitely lucky it was just the priests of Arkay lol

This quest is the Oblivion equivalent of minding your own business and then one of those holy mormons knocks on your door
i too am a forgotten one
This video disgusts me its truly foul 😂

I agree! They could’ve made some grotesque looking NPCs for this lol
Its so obviously demonic.
