I used Revit 2024 and this video worked the same. Very simple and quick, the only issue I had was that you went fast, so I had to re-watch a couple times. @11:30 I think you changed the name but not the actual size of the wall.

Make sure that if you duplicate a 200 mm thick wall and name it 100 mm, you also change its width to 100 mm.. Otherwise your 100 mm wall still contains the data of the 200 mm wall. The contractor might get a bit upset because he ordered a bit too much concrete. :D

Great video. I need to set up my own templates still but atm feel i need to get to know things first. Mostly do mechanical drawings with high emphasis on ducting and piping. Could you please do a video on setting up pipe types. Is it better to fabricate the pipes out? Seems to have more settings. Also duct taper sizes always seem so wrong? Are there any good templates that allow easy offsetting? Without buying the bim 360 add on is there a way of flattening out p&id drawings in revit?

It’s strictly conceptual. Someone’s goal should not be to copy everything you do step for step, but rather learn how to do it and then plug in their own numbers. It shouldn’t matter what unit of measure is used in the demonstration.

I done massing session but during the mass flooring, floors can't be applied there. I think this is due to sharp curve. (At a single mass selection massing cannot be possible. Therefore I divided into two parts then It is possible.) Also how to create this sharp corner without making line (I want sharp single point). Please give me the solution on that. As far as I am concerned Small scale: 1:200, 1:500, 1:1000 and Bigger scale is for details 1:10, 1:5, 1:20

how can i find existing template? if i open revit 2019 i only see "open" and "new"
