Your original concrete material also changed when you duplicated it and modified it for thr tadao ando concrete. If you can, you should explain how to duplicate materials and not having the original change while changing the new ones.

really good tutorial! Is there any material that has all parameters in Revit 2019? One with all parameters and with roughness workflow (from 2019)? Revit can use Normal maps too. It is a better map to use as bump map and can be directly created in photoshop in 3d filters menu. Would be nice to show in some toturial!

Your other tutorials are great, but this one, i gotta say, is poor practice. It's almost a redundant procedure duplicating a material in order to keep all the physical and thermal properties the same. If you're using materials to the extent that you need to have said property fields filled out and valid, than you would take your time to ensure that they are correct because every material has differing properties. Also the correct process for creating a new material usually follows making an image/texture seamless in photoshop (using offset) and then finding out the actual measurements and using them in the scale/sample size fields.

I think there is a small mistake that u changed the concrete lightweight as well , u have to duplicate the material from appearance tab as well .
I've discovered that the hard way over time. You eventually remember to always duplicate the "appearance" name as well as the project material name.

Even though we duplicate the material still it affects the original one, what's the point of duplicating any material. Is there any other way?
