Faouzia is sing both the English part originally sung by Sting, and Arabic part sung by Cheb Mami.
Sting is considered quite a good songwriter. He was a songwriter when in the band The Police and during his subsequent solo career.
He’s received 17 Grammy Awards. Including Song of the Year for "Every Breath You Take". He’s won three Brit Awards, including Best British Male Artist in 1994 and Outstanding Contribution in 2002. He’s won a Golden Globe and an Emmy. And has four Oscar nominations for Best Original Song.
In 2019, he received a BMI Award for "Every Breath You Take" becoming the most-played song in radio history.
He’s received Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.
He’s been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I like Faouzia’s covers of male songwriters better than of female. This one, John Mayer’s “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room”, and J.Cole’s “Middle Child” specifically.

Great reaction. On the original it was two singers. One was singing the arabic portion and another (Sting) was singing the english part of the song. Faouzia is singing both parts. Also if you want to here this live without a mic here is a link th-cam.com/video/pMkpoCCpgRw/w-d-xo.html . I guess there was an issue with the mic at this point in her Detroit show. She is out of this world good. Anyone that thinks she uses autotune should here this. There is no autotune if you are not using a mic.
