Do not worry, I have over a 1000 hours in hoi4 and I still can't figure out the naval part lol I just spam naval bombers and Wolfpack of subs to raid convoys and that seems to work
Learning the naval mechanics after the new update will be top priority for me, building a truly dangerous navy is one of the most satisfying things in hoi
Once you get into hoi4 and understand it better I suggest you start to check out the many free mods. They make the game really interesting and offer a lot more scenarios than offered by the base game. Particularly road to 56 which keeps the ww2 era but gives most countries including Estonia interesting focus trees.
My favorite part about HOI4 is the vast amount of mods easily downloadable on Steam. The Kaiserreich mod where Germany won WWI is one of the best conversion mods ever. I'm currently trying to form the Monglian Empire as we speak in that mod.

@@slavic_viking9638 It's all in the gameplay, ideology doesn't matter when the vanilla game lists anarchists as "non aligned" along with monarchies, republics and authoritarian states lol. Germany is incredible fun, challenging yourself to beat the Soviet union in a few months in the new DLC will provide some spice to the whole experience too. Hopefully we'll see Artur play as papa Stalin in the new DLC, lots of new changes coming and I can't be more happy that Artur will get to play it.
I'm a ok Hoi4 player but I recently got Napoleon Total War and if u think Hoi4 is hard u should see this game. It's more than just fight and win it's try to break their spirit. Also just get some Hoi4 mods and you'll be alright.
