good morning guys! Today's video was made in the wee hours of the night last night before I turned in for bed, but I wanted to get these thoughts out for you quickly while they were still fresh in my mind. I'll do an update in the future if I end up choosing a Bond No 9 fragrance. Also sorry for being so quiet in this video but everyone was sleeping!:) What do you think? What is your favorite Bond 9 or are you a fan of the house at all?

Really kind of SHOCKED at the mispronunciation of this word… but I guess if you’ve never heard it said aloud, there’s really no reason you WOULD know how to pronounce it correctly.
Still… nails on the proverbial chalkboard.
Greenwich Village is absolutely incredible. The lasting power is there I get compliments all day I think we just can’t smell it on ourselves like many other perfumes. It is so addicting. And that green bottle is everything!
Enjoyed your video Llythia as always, you have such a great voice! I have a couple bottles of Bond fragrances Scent of Peace being one of them and while I enjoy them I honestly think they are so overpriced for what they are and especially with the exchange in Canadian dollars. I appreciate a lot of other fragrances houses much more. I know as a perfume lover its nice to have one in your collection. I don’t have Greenwich village but it does sound lovely.

Tribeca is the better option between the two if you are wanting more longevity. I have both and love them. Tfs and good luck with you decision ✨

I love Scent of Peace, Astor Place, and New York Nights. Greenwich Village is my next purchase
Thanks for this share - I love and have NYN and Greenwich Village (also Signature Scent)! I’ve heard only a few people speak of Astor Place and the reviews are mixed but I’m SUPER interested in it - as the few who share that they love it OOOH and AAAHHH about it lol!
What do you like most about Astor Place and how would you describe it???

Ordered a decant for GV and TriBeca. IMMEDIATELY, TriBeca was a win for me. I’m not one to invest in something unless it gets the eyebrows “WOW!” when I smell it. I’ve never spent so much on a fragrance but I had to have this … Delivers tomorrow.

Drop the W from Greenwich.its silent my sweets....Remember there are quite a few at T J Maax. I will try and find channel that had them for you. There are so many good ones. I love you are taking your time!
I have a soft spot for the Scent of Peace. It was my gateway niche sxent maybe 8-9 years ago so I will always own a bottle. Opened my eyes to a whole world of fragrance. I found a 100ml a few years ago at TJmaxx for around $120.

@Olfactofiles do you feel the formulation has changed? I bought my first bottle probably 8-9 years ago as well and just recently bought a new bottle from Bloomingdale’s. Although the scent is still the same, it doesn’t smell as strong or last as long as I remember. Maybe it’s because it’s winter right now so it’s not wearing the same but curious what your thoughts are.
@@cheyji3366 My current bottle is pretty old so I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised, though.
For the price they want for those bottles i'd be trying to get a 5ml decant and see how much i love that before purchasing a full bottle.
Right I blind bought a fragrance from house of silage and I was definitely disappointed. I had to sell it only for a fraction of the price.

Do your bond no 9 fragrances last? I have like 6-8 decants and i have a large bottle of madison ave. They dont last at all! I love a few of them but since they dont last i dont want to spend the money.

Also, thank you for doing a review of so many of the perfumes from this house! I can't remember if I first heard of this house from Redolessense or Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews, but I remember being interested because the bottles looked so unique! 😍 I definitely want to get my hands on some samples now 🙌🏽

What did you think about Governors Island? I discovered bond when I walked by a woman at work wearing it, and I immediately had to ask her what she was wearing. I’ve noticed most channels that have reviewed Bond though pass over it a lot. I’m thinking I might be crazy for liking it so much 😂
I don’t think I’ve tried that one 🤔 Maybe that was one that wasn’t included. I love Saks 5th Ave for her - it’s just super heavy on the tuberose and I don’t know if I could wear it?? But it’s so lovely. Smells expensive!

Does anyone know of any good dupes for bond no. 9 Greenwich village?
I had my first experience with Bond No. 9 when I was studying abroad in London and have tested many of them over the years since. For the price the performance is on point but I don't actually love too many of them. New York Nights is a love for me, though. Great reviews!

It's close to Mancera Instant Crush....It's a slightly fruity, clean, fresh, inoffensive so you could wear it in an office setting without hurting anyone lol it almost has this clean freshly washed hair with herbal essence shampoo AND conditioner lol.....I will confidently go out on a limb and say it's a very safe blind buy. It's clean and fresh in a feminine way. It has freesia, jasmine sambac, tangerine, amber, musk and rose and none of those notes over power the others
They all wear nicely together. I'd say if you like Versace Bright Crystals, with a little D&G Light Blue Sprinkled with Mancera Instant Crush.

Is it a very mature smell? I’ve been trying to see what this compares to and I can’t find any reviews to describe the scent besides a soft fruity floral.

As someone else already mentioned, check out TJMaxx online. I’ve seen the Bonds on there. BTW I’m still confused on how to say Greenwich 🤷🏻♀️. The New Yorkers on here all say it differently 🤣

@@thesimplechiclife yes ☹️ smells different! Big one smells more “powdery” and less “fresh” for me the sample smells like coconut with something, very tropical but fancy. 😂
I love this brand, i will post the one i bought soon on ig. I am so excited, i bought my fragrance two weeks ago, and then i saw you posting you are getting one, so i was excited to see the one you choose. Greenwich village is very popular, i wanted it, but i found one that works for me 🤗
