I’m ok with dupe brands as long as they’re transparent about the fact that they’re dupes of fragrances already available on the market. Heck, more designer/niche brands need to be transparent about the fact that their scents are inspired by other scents from different brands as well.
Something i learned traveling to the Middle East, a LOT of commercial high end brands are leveraging oil blends from the Middle East. I think everyone needs to be transparent lol.
I love oakcha and oil perfumery. I am not about to pay hundreds of dollars for the real thing when most of the money I am paying is for marketing and not even the quality of the fragrance. So I am super happy with good quality dupes.😁

Thank you for introducing The Oakcha brand to us. I have some expensive bottles on my shelves but Oakcha is what I classify as precious and only for important social events.
If anyone is shopping target and see the tonka bean fragrance by Solinotes, it smells almost exactly like Tom ford lost cherry’s dry down. I own both and they’re pretty much indistinguishable on my skin. My TF is over $350 for a bottle but Solinotes is $20. Great longevity.

The original lost cherry is irreplaceable because it leaves this sweet powdery after- note, when all scents die down, and not all dupes have that beautiful layering of starting with cherry and ending with sweet powder.
Sweet Addict doesn’t have the “sugar & caramel notes” that Love Don’t Be Shy has. I think that would explain why you feel Sweet Addict is less cloying and more powdery than Love Don’t Be Shy.
You are right Yana. This brand makes some great dupes. I've bought a Roja Dove and TF dupe and scent wise they were spot on. I've been eying a few more from this brand but forgot them. Think i'm going to order now. BTW, thanks for introducing me to this brand.

Hi, thank you so much for this great video. I fell in love with Tom Ford lost cherry but I didn’t want to pay for this expensive bottle. I purchased their bitter peach scent and though the first notes were so good but the dry down is very mundane so now I have become very picky. I’ll only get a expensive perfume if I have tried it on at least for two weeks. So I just purchased the sinful. I also found a website that I can purchase a tester of a lot of these more expensive fragrance houses. This way I can actually try them and if I like one I can then put it on my wish list and purchase it in the future. Thanks again!

I have Torrid Day, Sorcery and Orphic. I really enjoy the scent it has a great quality. I did have a leaking issue and wrote them about it and never got a response. Other than this, it is a great dupe company. Bad Customer Service but great quality product.
That's not okay! I'm going to tell them to replace your items. Before I agreed to work with them again I asked if they took care of all their service issues. Maybe their CSR reps are slacking, I'll bring this up to them

I ordered Amore Oudh recently. Which was actually inspired by Tom Ford's Oud Wood. I've never tried it, or any fragrances by Oakcha. I've seen a video of a Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille clone by Alexandria Fragrances called Sweet Smoke. Never tried it, but I'd really to know if it really is that similar, because I love Tobacco Vanille and I'm not spending over $200 for 1.7 oz. At least not again. 😂 But I do love it.

I’m Lebanese and it is literally a spot on scent of our deserts. Spot on. I’ve owned the travel one and made it last for years because it’s so expensive. I only use it on very special occasions. I’m curious if you’ve heard that Kilian fragrances are no longer as good since they were bought out? I’m going to buy the refill but am worried it’s no longer the same quality. I also wanted to let you know that because of you I bought L’ Extase Rose Absolue and ADORE it- so much so that I bought a back up! I also bought Rose Extase and LOVE it also! Both SO amazing! The original love (I purchased it before the reformulation) reminds me of some dessert that I am sure they make in Morocco. It is with orange blossom. I really love it as I fell in love with Morocco❤️ I haven’t purchased it since it has been rumoured to be reformulated and I am hesitant now because I hardly have any left but I love it so much 😩
@@samahabdullah718 it’s by far and away the closest thing to it. Is it as good? No. But definitely worth purchasing. Love Don’t be Shy is much deeper and sweeter. More dense and syrupy. And the lasting power of the original versus now ( which I’ve heard isn’t as good ) isn’t on the same level either. BUT considering they’ve changed it I’m now scared to spend the money on the reformulation. I should really just go to Holts and try it to see how much it’s changed. But for $50 Canadian it’s a no brainer. Definitely recommend. 👍🏼

I hate dupes, all youtubers told us that Ariana grande cloud was a dupe for baccarat Rouge 540 but now they all have baccarat roughe and they all say they are happy with the fragrance and they definitely repurchasing it 🤷♀️
lol I know what you mean. Cloud definitely is not a dupe for BR540; it's a vaaaauge smell- alike, at best. As a reviewer, I try to stay objective and I recognize that a lot of people are in the market for dupes though I personally prefer the OG as I explained in the video :)

I love their oud wood dupe, but the opening isn't exact. It settles in about 10 minutes into an almost exact oud wood scent. I'm not sure if they are sending older bottles. They should not be, according to what I was told
If you're looking for a dupe of Aventus, Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf is soooooo good. Ite very well done, longevity is good too, and about $40 a bottle
I know Aventus is so overdone but my husband really really loves it and we have never had more than a few samples so I’m thinking this is our path to experiencing it. It’s not a direct hit from the stupendous batch we had tried (I forget the year) but it’s really close and very enjoyable and worth the scant fraction of the cost of creed! Go for it. Akimbo, oakcha’s Aventus for Her...I’m in love! It’s juicy and girly and refined and fun. Yes.
How is the Oachka dupe of Gipsy water? I got the dupe of Divain, and that one is disappointing. The oil dupe of Oil Perfumery is really good, but I also want a spray that's good.
I bought their Sweet addict by oakcha. I feel it was nothing special at all. It is very one dimensional and does not last. It only smells like sweet artificial sugar. Very boring. I will not buy from them again.

Sarang is my favourite Oakcha perfume! I love love Kayf, Kalon and Sorcery. My least favourite is Sweven. 💥💫💜

They are still sending the bottles out with the sticker label. I just received "Sweet Addict" yesterday that had the sticker label. So far, so good as far as leakage

Hi Yana, I am just about to place an order but do you know if all of the bottles they are selling now have the new packaging? I'm from the UK so if there's the old leaky packaging I don't think any of the perfume will survive the journey! Thank you and love your videos 😊

I hate dupes, all youtubers told us that Ariana grande cloud was a dupe for baccarat Rouge 540 but now they all have baccarat roughe and they all say they are happy with the fragrance and they definitely repurchasing it 🤷♀️
lol I know what you mean. Cloud definitely is not a dupe for BR540; it's a vaaaauge smell- alike, at best. As a reviewer, I try to stay objective and I recognize that a lot of people are in the market for dupes though I personally prefer the OG as I explained in the video :)

What do you think of Oakcha's Oud Wood? I want to place an order. Im a bit hesitant I keep seeing images posted recently with old bottles still being sent mixed with new ones😕
I love their oud wood dupe, but the opening isn't exact. It settles in about 10 minutes into an almost exact oud wood scent.
I'm not sure if they are sending older bottles. They should not be, according to what I was told

If you're looking for a dupe of Aventus, Club de Nuit Intense Man by Armaf is soooooo good. Ite very well done, longevity is good too, and about $40 a bottle
I know Aventus is so overdone but my husband really really loves it and we have never had more than a few samples so I’m thinking this is our path to experiencing it. I really love how he smells in it too 😌

Yes, Aventus smells good no doubt! But so many dupes 🤭... The oakcha one is quite good though

@@cherubicchild5 we think it’s a quality choice instead of Creed. It’s not a direct hit from the stupendous batch we had tried (I forget the year) but it’s really close and very enjoyable and worth the scant fraction of the cost of creed! Go for it.

Their scents fade fast. 2 to 3 hours and their totally gone. Not impressed.
I thought it was me, but my hubby thought so as well. I'm disappointed, I loved the fragrance on him.
I bought their Sweet addict by oakcha. I feel it was nothing special at all. It is very one dimensional and does not last. It only smells like sweet artificial sugar. Very boring. I will not buy from them again.
I felt that way about Love Don’t Be Shy. Maybe it’s the actual fragrance though?
@@FrenchCocoa369 good point. Yet the perfume has grown on me. I use it at bedtime fyer a shower, CAUSE I am. a mature woman and dont feel it's appropriate for me in public. But i love that it smells like sponge cake and new plastic baby doll. I used to he called a Spanish Barbie, so naturally i like it for that reason. Take care dear.
