Got Van back from shop for belts and Power Steering Pump . Then noticed this same issue Shop office girl quoted 2100.00 for blower and Resistor your video gives me hope. I replaced my backup sensor few years ago. I’ll start with the resistor also.

If you have the model with a screen for gps, the plastic dash cover comes off same way from behind the screen. Then there’s two bolts holding the screen frame. Once the bolts are out the same clips as shown in the video hold it in place. Just yank up.
The defroster duct is nearly impossible to get back in place.

I got the same problem with the same car! So you think that the fix was to change the resistor or the blower fan?? By the way, thanks for up loading this video, it does help me a lot on what I'm going to go through!!

Glad the video/information helped. For me, I had replaced the resistor, and the blower operation failed the next day. Since replacing the blower (and again another resistor) it has worked normally. I ended up just buying the cheapest resistor on Amazon....believe it was like $25.

Okay thanks, I'm going to start with the replacement of the resistor, and go from there! Thank you so much for replying! God bless!!

Same issue, have the 2007, trying to keep until it hits 200k, at 167, just changed module and working, I will see for how long, blower will most like go out soon, usually thats the case.

Yes if your module/resistor goes out again soon after replacing, then replacing the blower motor should at least rule out that part of the system as the cause. (Though certainly possible to get a bad, new part). Hope it fixes the issue, riding around with the fan on high all the time made for a noisey drive.

    I can’t get the shroud in🤦🏾‍♂️

The shroud was a pain getting back in, but since it's thinner plastic it can flex/bend a lot. I found putting back in at an angle then bending the front-facing edge past the upper foam seal worked best for me. I did end up tearing the foam a bit, but it's fragile due to age.
