I love how Millennials and Gen Z-ers always fail to realize that the goods and products of their generations are simply reinventions of the wheel. What's old is new again. Hairspray has always been comprised of... you guessed it, chemicals. The only difference now is that the current formulas don't work nearly as well as those of the past. For example, in my day, anyone needing to seriously glue their hair in place could always count on Aqua Net to do the job. Sadly, the current version of this hairspray sucks.
