When I lived in Louisiana years ago, my friend and I would go see Jimmy Buffet every year at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans (1999-2005). One year, we decided to go to his Margaritaville restaurant after the concert. About 5 minutes after we were seated, the wait staff started locking all the doors and wouldnt let anyone else in. My friend told me, "Buffett must be here"!! I looked upstairs (loft) and Mr. Buffett was walking down the stairs with his mom! (it was his mother's birthday). He sat at the foot of the stage (yes, theres a stage in the restaurant) and watched his friend Keb Mo perform. Then JB went onstage and sang a few of his songs. I just remember not being able to take my eyes off him. He later walked around greeting everyone and I got to take a picture with him. Jimmy Buffett was sooo influential in my life, especially after High School. I'm curious to know what other people's favorite songs of his are. Here are my top 5: 5) Take it Back 4) Savannah Farewell 3) Semi-True Story 2) Apocalypso 1) That's My Story and I'm Stickin' to It!
