yep, it works on Swistool Spirit too. yet Victorinox say its a wire bender, the wire stripper looks alot different on my tool. but thank you, it works awesome.
I heard that you are supposed to use the blade. While the wire is in the tool, you can put the blade on the wire and turn the wire. It works but it seemed awkward to me. While your way of doing it makes more sense and seem easier. Thanks.
There are two different types of wire stripper. The other one is on a mini Philips screw driver tool on smaller knives such as the mini champ. It is that tool that works in conjunction with the blade tool.

Using the blade is fine when the blade is located next to the stripper but that is not the case on all models.

Using the stripper this way on fine twisted wire will weaken and break the wires. There is a better way.
