- The very small gobies of the goby subfamily Sicydiinae are easy to keep, if you pay attention to few important demands. Stiphodon may be kept in small aquariums and are completely harmless against other fish. Not a nano fish but nearly.
I find this more helpful than any of the Cherry shrimp, Amano shrimp or the Ramhorn snail to help with leftoevers and algae. I had one stiphodon goby and it cleaned off the green-spot algae and the shrimp food that the shrimp kept ignoring.
Oh yeah, I have a couple of these. Great fish.
ADU Aquascaping Hi I really like your aqua scapes especially 'the one that became three' shame you had to move tho. Anyway I really want an L201 pleco do you think it will be compatible with blue neon gobbys (135 liter tank) there would also be 4 Cory cats if that makes a difference but there are loads of hiding spaces and a fine sand if the gobbys need to burrow. The lava rocks are covered in mini pellilia(is that how you spell it) if that makes a difference for the amount of algae but the should be enough right. Thanks!!
Thanks for sharing! A very nice clip about the Stiphodon percnopterygionus, well done!
Amazing job!
It's a machine!
Lovely little fish. They look as if they would do well in planted aquaria.
Lovely
Mine dosent have the red dorsals
Beautiful fish but I still don't understand their feeding what would I feed
They eat algae, especially filament green algaes and cyano. It is recommended to have a tank with a lot of those algaes, or have a second tank where you put rocks to be covered with algaes, then put them in your stiphodon's tank.
They may eat other food, but they risk being sick, because they're not supposed to eat meat.
nice
Mantap ka
how you breed them . Thx
Where do you get them?
Is 26 degrees Celsius good? Do they need a lot of flow? What fish can they not go with?
Is this algae eater?
yes
music name?
They probably hate lava rock, huh?
