Good television and art provoke great conversation The Walking Dead has never been about zombies It’s about humanity and survival at It’s most fundamental core It makes us ask what we would do in similar situations.
I used to ask myself that a lot. At first I thought a shopping mall would be one of the better places to set up and fortify. Most of them already have security gates and there's a variety of options for food, sleep and weapons. There's a also a lot of exits and areas to trap zombies, especially the slow ones
Man, man, man. It’s a trip, and a half, seeing them all so young and innocent! Please don’t stop this reaction, love seeing the series through your eyes
The whisper thing more than likely comes from Twin Peaks. With that show being so influential, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of shows borrowed the iconic whisper scene from it
Mr October made comment about Rick's accent sounding good even though his Britain. The actor who plays Morgan is also Britain and his southern accent convinced me for years until I heard him in an interview.

Love y'alls reactions! You were right, Andrew Lincoln (Rick) is from the UK and also Lennie James, the actor who plays (Morgan). If you hear Rick and Morgan talk in interviews you wouldn't believe it. Thats why they are both such amazing actors!
What you need to understand about people "opting out"; people can only take so much pain. Whether it's emotional or physical, we all have a limit. It's different for everyone, but once we hit that point. . . if there's no hope for reprieve, "pushing on" becomes a meaningless exercise of futility that is unbearable. People need hope, as much as we need oxygen. And sometimes, unfortunately, people either can't find hope or, more rarely, there IS no hope. And I say that as someone who has a progressive neurological disease that might possibly one day contort me into a human pretzel in the most painful manner imaginable (currently I have only minor symptoms, and Universe willing, that'll be the extent of it). But if that day comes, when I can barely move and all I know is pain. . . I will likely opt out. I will hope in the meantime for advances in treatment or possibly even a cure of course, but the simple fact is if all you will know is pain with no hope for relief or happiness, opting out is totally understandable.
Where Dale is concerned I don’t feel like Dale forced her hand He decided that if she was gonna stay and die then he was too She is the last person in the world he cares for.
His reason, her, is what Andrea took issue with, she didn't want to be his reason. I.e., he wouldn't die if it wasnt fir her. Andrea had no problem with Jacqui staying because Jacqui simply wanted out, regardless of her friendship with T-Dog. Jaqui was tired of running and wanted to die on her own terms.
Blocking the door implies he thought Rick was alive but let’s be honest Leaving a man in a coma in the middle of a Zombie infested wasteland while the world falls apart 99 times out of 100 that’s a death sentence I don’t blame Shane for telling Lori he was dead.
He should have said something that would let her infer Rick was dead just so she wouldn't fight him about fleeing Kings County. But after they got clear, he should have told the truth: soldiers were killing everyone, living & walkers, and he had to hide so as not to be shot. Rick unconscious was dead weight & he couldn't fireman carry him down 12 flights of stairs & dodge army & walkers to get back to them. But that he barricaded Rick's door to prevent walkers from getting in.
It's interesting that you say, "... Maybe wait until all of the dead bodies rot away..." because that is one of the things I like best about this series. It's not a spoiler to say that yes, the older zombies rot more and more, eventually, there are no more bullets, and the canned food has all been eaten or gone bad, etc. In other words, we get to watch everything rot more and more and the series goes on, including the older zombies.
Yall are very brave to do the whole walking dead on you tube in don't think anyone else has cause of how long it is good luck on the journey I remember it took me 2 weeks watchijg all day everyday to get from episode 1 season 1 to episode 1 season 10

there is also TWD webisodes. they also show what was going on in Rick's neighborhood when he was in a coma. for one thing, you will find out how the dead got locked up at the hospital.
Andrea is not being dramatic, she just lost the most important person in her life. I think that everyone reading this comment would choose to give up if they lost the person they love the most.

The world is made up of multiple types - even if I lost all the most important people in my life I would fight. I’m just built that way. My oldest daughter told me she’d prefer to go. Shane blamed Rick for them losing so many when those Walkers showed up to the camp and Rick and the others were away, but it was those idiots AT camp who were sitting around a fire with no lookout who were at fault.
Shane parked a pack of untrained civilians on a mountain with one way in or out, with no bug out plan and no plan in the event the camp was attacked by walkers or hostile living. His security alarm was empty cans tied to string to clatter if walkers wandered close to camp. We see how well that alarm worked. Had Rick & the others not returned, or had never left, the whole group would have died that night.
Great to see you guys!!! If you want to see Rick in another movie you should watch Love Actually you're going to like that movie and it also has professor Snape 😊
I don't know if you have ever seen that movie The Mist. Based on a Stephen King book. If not, go watch it and count how many Season 1 Walking Dead actors are in it.
So happy I’m here for this series. Season 2 is slow but compensates with character building and is the groundwork for future Seasons to me Season 2 is the best Season for character development Daryl really becomes one of the best characters next Season in my opinion so I’m looking forward to hearing what you think about that.
I believe Shane already had a crush on Laurie before or him and Laurie were already emotionally involved go back to the car scene where rick and Shane were talking i believe Shane was asking a little to much being all curious about how him and Laurie were doing 😮
I wouldn't go to the CDC or Fort Benning. With the gas I have I would keep going. Sure you can get answers at the CDC or shelter at Fort Benning but I'm sure a ton of people thought of that too. Saying this in retrospect but doing it in a way that won't spoil anything. The CDC episode turns out the be the most important episode in the main series and namely everything Jenner says. Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍👍 A lot of people think the timeline is never stated, but most people just miss it, glad you guys caught it when Dr. Jenner says that it has been 194 days since ‘WildFire’ was declared and 63 days since the disease abruptly went global, 🙂 So sad watching Andrea try to give Amy in death what she should have in life, especially on her birthday, now I personally would not have let my loved one turn or suffer any longer than necessary, 😕😏 Between Shane trying to use what was between he and Lori to change Ricks mind and then putting him in his crosshairs, I started to despise him, each time I watch this episode I have the urge to put him out of my misery, 😏😁😂 Such a bummer to lose Jim, RIP 😪 (E6) I have never been into most of the old zombie flicks, since they are more of a satanic rise from the dead kind of thing, whereas TWD is more believable since it is a virus/disease causing it kind of thing, especially for new watchers since experiencing Covid, 😏👍 My ‘what the h***’ moment was why the military guy that looked into Ricks room did not shoot him, since they were shooting both the dead and the living, 🤔 I also believe that Shane did think Rick was dead because he did not hear a heartbeat so he made the decision to not worry about his dead friends body due to all the chaos and honor him by trying to save Rick’s family, I believe he moved the gurney in front of the door so the dead/Walkers could not get to Ricks body, unfortunately the stress of the apocalypse and the bad head space he is in now since Ricks return, his thoughts have been on the evil side, especially attacking Lori like that, 😏 So sad Jacqui decided to stay, I was hoping they would give her more screen time, I felt Dr. Jenner would have been an asset also, 😏 RIP Jacqui and Dr. Jenner 😪 I kept waiting on Shane’s hot headed random shooting at the consoles to take out the one for the door, 😏 Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋😀👋
The two of you, holding each other while Rick begs Jenner to let them in... that was so touching and relatable... taking comfort in each other in this emotional moment
The legit best place to be in a zombie apocalypse is a gym, the bigger the better....put all the treadmills outside up against the building so the zombies keep walking yet never get anywhere 😂
I'd be dead in the first few days of this world, lol😂 I got osteoarthritis and gout, so I have a hard time moving faster than the walkers do. I would be DOOMED. Love this show. Love the reaction guys. See ya next time 👍
You two are so adorable and I love Mr. October’s love for Supernatural! I’m so curious about the time before Rick woke up in the hospital. I want to know what that was like. Like really bad.
as a reply to 31:50 both Lenny James (Morgan) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick) are British actors, they aren't the only ones either, you'll see one appear in season 2 and another in season 3
@TheOctobersReact another series to add to your possible reviews list is Z Nation. It coincided with the later seasons of TWD. It had camp, never took itself too seriously but handled the serious elements well. Funny coincidence: a couple of times both shows aired eps on the same week where their survivors faced the exact same crisis. One of which, Z Nation handled far better. Also (no spoiler, it's ep. 1) they handled killing infected reverently. Dying victims chose what they wanted done and when someone was put down they'd first say, "I give you mercy." Doing so also helped the living cope with having to do it.
Not to make it overly depressing, but to add to your follow-up conversation about the season, I deal with bad depression and anxiety in regular everyday life. So, dealing with a Zombie apocalypse, I'd be one that decided to end it early on. This world is dark enough, I definitely wouldn't last long in that world.
37:20 Don't worry about those questions, logic will just lead you into dead-ends. Nothing about this makes any sense. Just enjoy the unique insanity and great acting for a few seasons!
Since you two are watching this show, please react to Invincible. Same creator, some of the walking dead cast members are in there, and Steven Yeun (Glenn) is the voice of the main character.
It’s quite awesome to experience TWD through new reactors It’s an amazing show Something to consider Fear The Walking Dead Season 1 takes place (timeline wise) while Rick is in his coma in the hospital But you probably want to watch them in the same air date chronology to avoid any out of order reveals.
I would absolutely go where the guns would be guns and farming is the key to surviving the zombie apocalypse I’d go to an army fort it might have held if not I would atleast be loaded with guns find a bunker possibly at the military base then keep one bullet for myself incase things went south
I’d have chosen to stay. I’ve seen the series, so I know survival is possible but the idea of potentially being torn apart on one supply trip gone wrong is just too frightening a prospect. That fear would make me a liability to the group. I’d take the quick painless option and avoid my corpse coming back if I was mauled or bitten by a single walker.
⚔️🖤⚔️ This series will take you on an emotional journey You never knew you needed The way TWD show cases every mental issue there is is absolutely brilliant ⚔️🖤⚔️
Winnebago is a bad choice except for living in it, or bolstering it to be safer, it has the worst fuel consumption. The CDC guy reminds me of Dexter. Wouldn’t want to work inside a closed room that could burst into flames at any second. I don’t think it was just 63 days, that was just the first part of Jenner’s recordings. Supernatural “dumbed down” the demons, they weren’t a big deal anymore because they let it happen..I have a lot of views about how that series went on, but won’t spoil. Shane had a primal part of himself awoken, he’s got some bad stuff and guilt to deal with. Shane thought Lori was his wife and he had a son, instant family.. Rick has a different point of view because he didn’t see civilization fall, the worst parts.
In this world, would you stay with Jenner, or keep pushing?
Well lemme tell you something I'd leave with Rick because I trust my Goat to lead us
Keep moving forward
I'd keep it pushing,definitely.
Always keep pushin'

So sad Jacqui decided to stay, I was hoping they would give her more screen time, I felt Dr. Jenner would have been an asset also, 😏
RIP Jacqui and Dr. Jenner 😪
I kept waiting on Shane’s hot headed random shooting at the consoles to take out the one for the door, 😏
Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋😀👋
I have just become a member for this you guys are in got a journey
I clearly heard him say, once those doors close 🤷🏿♂️, then I went back and heard it again 😂
None tried to convince Jackie to leave 😢
T-Dog did but the others grabbed him when Jacqui insisted she was staying.
Omg I love Supernatural 😊 It's my second favorite show behind The Walking Dead! Have you both seen it??
Remember Kenner’s quote
“The day will come when you won’t be.”😢
New Sub! I'm enjoying rewatching this with y'all! ❤❤❤❤❤🎉 Thanks. 😊
I'd be dead in the first few days of this world, lol😂 I got osteoarthritis and gout, so I have a hard time moving faster than the walkers do. I would be DOOMED. Love this show. Love the reaction guys. See ya next time 👍
Guys gotta check out the show Daryl Dixon. Surprisingly good I watched it in a day and a half
And that's a wrap on season 1 great watch can't wait to see season 2 and the seasons get significantly longer episode wise
Rick is like "I HAVE BEEN HERE TWO DAYS AND KNOW LESS THAN EVERYONE BUT I AM THE SHERIFF I RULE!"
Such a perfect season 😮
Hoping you guys do bring it all to this channel!
You are correct Andrew Lincoln is from the UK and also the actor who plays "Morgan" Lennie James.
You two are so adorable and I love Mr. October’s love for Supernatural! I’m so curious about the time before Rick woke up in the hospital. I want to know what that was like. Like really bad.
I watched several seasons, but after a while, it became just too dark for me, too hopeless.
I remember this was really really good but it dragged on way to long... can't remember what season i finally quit..😅
as a reply to 31:50 both Lenny James (Morgan) and Andrew Lincoln (Rick) are British actors, they aren't the only ones either, you'll see one appear in season 2 and another in season 3
I love your channel!! Lookin forward to the walking dead journey with you guys. Also, hoping for the Sopranos if you guys haven't seen it.
I like that we see that Shane was completely telling the truth.
Just found yalls channel... I'm from the Sip myself...
Which is what Daryl will find out the secret to the outbreak in his new series (France)
LOL Did you say Barrow County? I used to live in Winder like 40 years ago. My dad's people are from there. Kennedys
been waiting for this!
If Jenner told them what was happening first thing, they could have just gone to get more fuel.
Wildfire is a reference to the old 1971 movie The Andromeda Strain. You should watch it. It's really good.
Happy New Year Octobers🎉🎉
"The day will come when you won't be"
Damn, Supernatural is my other favorite show (tied at 2nd place with TWD, #1 is Game of Thrones) Do you guys have reactions to SPN?
The guy playing Rick is British, and so is Morgan.
Letting your team down? 😂😂
I almost forgot how good this show was.
Thanks to Tony and Brooke! 🧟♀
37:20 Don't worry about those questions, logic will just lead you into dead-ends. Nothing about this makes any sense. Just enjoy the unique insanity and great acting for a few seasons!
GAHDAMN 7 MINUTE GANG LETS GOOOOOO
Since you two are watching this show, please react to Invincible. Same creator, some of the walking dead cast members are in there, and Steven Yeun (Glenn) is the voice of the main character.
It’s quite awesome to experience TWD through new reactors It’s an amazing show Something to consider Fear The Walking Dead Season 1 takes place (timeline wise) while Rick is in his coma in the hospital But you probably want to watch them in the same air date chronology to avoid any out of order reveals.
I would absolutely go where the guns would be guns and farming is the key to surviving the zombie apocalypse I’d go to an army fort it might have held if not I would atleast be loaded with guns find a bunker possibly at the military base then keep one bullet for myself incase things went south
welcome to the first finale of the walking dead
I’d have chosen to stay. I’ve seen the series, so I know survival is possible but the idea of potentially being torn apart on one supply trip gone wrong is just too frightening a prospect. That fear would make me a liability to the group.
I’d take the quick painless option and avoid my corpse coming back if I was mauled or bitten by a single walker.
⚔️🖤⚔️
This series will take you on an emotional journey
You never knew you needed
The way TWD show cases every mental issue there is is absolutely brilliant
⚔️🖤⚔️
