Hey everyone! We just wanted to share that this movie was an absolute challenge to edit due to copyright issues-it took us 28 tries to finally get it posted without any problems. We had to make a lot of cuts, but we did our best to preserve as much as possible. We truly hope you enjoy it and thank you so much for your support. Much love!
Great reactions I had no clue what everything meant besides the drugs bcs we were learning abt them but besides that watching it again a few years later my reaction was so shocked it was so cruel masterpiece of a movie
Yep, all of it. Not only are there small criminal groups that do the actual kidnappings/trafficking, but more powerful people and even government entities that allow it to happen, just for some extra money
I have a lot of compassion for Liam Neeson. TAKEN released right before his wife (Natasha Richardson) died in a tragic skiing accident in 2009. Liam did a lot of action movies since then (many of them involving family in some way), which I presume was a way to process his grief.
I usually don’t like when reactors cut so much of the movie out but you did a really good job of getting the most important parts in. Love your channel ☺️
That's because reactors a lot of times don't have much of a reaction, if any at all, with those important parts, they are cutting them because they had no reaction whatsoever
@@scottlaughlin9897 also true, but at this point reaction videos are way too standard to know not to cut big moments, i am positive editors are also doing exactly what i previously said. Hell, I've even seen editors correcting the reactors about movie info by adding text on the video, editors do know better lol
It's literally copyright law that makes them do it -- has nothing to do with this specific channel or anybody else "willingly" removing most of the content.
I’m showing this movie to my daughters if I ever have any. When my sisters saw this movie in their teens it made them be careful when traveling anywhere thr older they got. Also I love how invested you were in the bad guys being killed. Cracked me up because everyone that watched this movie felt that way lol.
When he shoots dudes wife in the arm - that part really hits hard. Cause it shows that he doesn’t give a FUCK about morals at that point. And that he will hurt an innocent person to find his daughter. Really adds a ton of tension and weight to the story.
He was a CIA agent bro, good and evil don't exist for them, there is a prequel series that shows you Bryan's story with the agency on Prime Video... I recommend it.
One of my favorite movies ever. That line when Brian eventually agrees to sign the papers to let Kim go on her trip and tells Lenore, "Wouldn't it be easier if we talked about it first?" is a deeper line and I took it as Brian referring to their previous marriage, not the paper-signing situation, like, they should have talked about it instead of separating.
@@theperfectmixxAlso, it looks like you watched the theatrical cut. In the Uncut version, Brian empties the clip on St. Clair in the elevator, among other differences. So satisfying lol
Another brilliant reaction. Despite it having all the action movie clichés, I think what makes this movie (and the others in the franchise) so engaging and compelling is the emotional connection you demonstrated so well. It's horrid to think of, but trafficking rings just like this exist all over the world, and we'd all like to think we'd be able to save a loved one in the same way, should they be trafficked. That connection of rooting for family and friendship against depravity is something most of us (although, sadly not all of us) share.
I love that you talked about "Let's analyze, let's see how many threats" during the scene where he meets marco, because I loved Neeson's subtle look around to analyze how to kill them all once he recognizes his voice.
The one thing I didn't like about the movie is that there wasn't any sort of acknowledgment to Amanda. She died alone in a foreign country and they did nothing for her. Didn't even do anything to retrieve her body.
well the dad in the movie is on a time crunch, he has 96 hrs before he can never find his daughter. its sad about ananda but he can worry about her given the limited time he has to find his own daughter
@ he couldn’t have called his friends and been like “I found Amanda please retrieve her corpse because I don’t have time to do so” and what about after the successful rescue..?? I mean what about her family???
I really love this movie! It is shocking, emotional, it has such great action, and above all its blow of reality and awareness of the possibilities...because people...the world has very murky things...take care of yourselves and take care of those who can ♥
For a cut down reaction this was brilliant 👏🏽 all the main parts of the storyline and all the action covered. Well done team ❤ by the way hes the OG John Wick 😂
You guys, thank you for your reaction, I enjoyed every minute of it! It's horrifying to think that these kind of things happen every day. I hope everyone stays safe and please, protect your children.
If there's one thing I can't stand in this world among all others is monsters that do this to their fellow human beings. They're demons in human flesh is all they are. We need more people with special skills to take care of them.
I was wondering when y'all was going to watch this :D I was so happy when this video popped on my feed... Love you guys! Can't wait for next taken reaction :D
so i know you had to cut a bunch, but halfway through before i read that, i was thinking that you were flying through the story, but the edit was pretty great, didn't feel rushed or choppy at all 👍
As many have commented. This still happens every day. Even after the movie came out so long ago. The abductions aside, I want to give a warning to anyone that flys in general. When you land at an airport. Any state in the US, Country oversees etc. Wait till you're outside the airport area if you have things already setup as far as ride etc. There are so many wifi/bluetooth hackers waiting in airport lobbies or next to it that connect to your phone as soon as you turn it on.
This movie really brought a lot of awareness to be careful when traveling to places you’ve never been. Another one that brought great awareness to trafficking is Sound of Freedom (which is based on a true story)
When I think of this trilogy, I think of my folks. These films are some of their favorites. On my part, I still can’t believe that Liam is also Qui-Gon Jinn.
This movie is a crash course in quick, effective character writing. It doesn't take 30 minutes to get to know characters. Sometimes simple is better. It allows the story to breath, the audience to think and actors to do their thing. Cinema.
Vince and Shoshana, great reaction! I agreed with everything Bryan did in the film. Liam Neeson is such a great actor. If you both want to see two great films! I recommend "In The Line of Fire" a great 1993 Suspense Thriller. It stars Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich and Rene Russo. It has a great plot, great writing and great acting! Finally, I recommend "We Are Marshall" a great 2006 biopic of the tragedy of the 1970 Thundering Herd Football Team and its boosters from Marshall University of Huntington, West Virginia. Matthew McConaughey plays Coach Jack Lengyl. A well done film and tribute.
Well the good news is there's more fathers that are assertive and not willing to bend to the mothers pressure of letting their daughters go off randomly flying to unknown places. To a teenager they seem harsh but to adults they're good fathers
There is another version of the scene where the guy is electrocuted. Instead of the electric being connected to the chair, a big nail is forced into each thigh, and the cables are attached there. Much better scene
i love this movie from beginning to end, u guys should also react to taken 2 and taken 3 all of them are fantastic movies i think u guys will absolutely love them
i love your guys reactions soo much and im genuinely so excited specifically to see you react to more of twd! (only saying that cuz it's my fav show). keep up the amazing content 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sorry, don't know the language, but... Thank you for this video. I love your chanel and your video-reactions! I saw many your videos! Big hello from Ukraine! :*
Love your guys reaction, basically had the same reaction to every scene! So sad how these people can do that to innocent women! Then the main guy who had the nerve to say he has a daughter too, but doesn’t give a shit about the other girls he’s taken. Know for sure he’d be doing the same shit as Brian if roles were reversed
I love Taken, seen it so many times, and love Liam Neeson as an actor. People Like Lenore, deserve everything that comes their way, I hate anyone who thinks they are above me, and treats me like a piece of $hit on their shoe, we all came into this world the same way, we will leave it the same way, and to think this happens all over the world for real, to this day.
Taken is a really really good and to the point action movie. One of Liam Nesson’s iconic roles as Bryan Mills as he did an amazing job with the action sequences/stunts in this film. This movie has good action and it has a loving story between a father and daughter so what else do you want…😁. The wife annoyed me as she was interfering a lot in the father and daughter relationship which made her a nuisance but nevertheless at the end she was okay and thanked Bryan which I was happy with so I think Famek Jansen did a really good job in the movie with her character. This movie is a masterpiece, the second movie is also great I would recommend it to anybody that liked this first one. The third one though I would say is not even worth your time, it's that bad.
Because you guys checked out Taken, you should obviously watch the two sequels, they aren't as good, but are still entertaining. Anyway, you should also check out the Transporter films, starring Jason Statham, as those films come from the same production company and have similar action.

The scariest part about this movie is that it’s definitely realistic and still happening today. So scary and sickening. Amazing reaction you guys ❤️

This mom has been #1 on my most hated movie character list for YEARS and I don't see it ever changing.
I would never be able to leave my dads side if he saved me like that.
