I miss Las Cruces. When I moved to Colorado, there were only 79k people! I can’t believe that it has grown so much! I am going there this summer. I am so excited, I can’t wait.

I've lived here all my life. I am 50 now. I've witnessed so much growth. There were only 2 high schools when I graduated from LCHS in 1988. I live in the Foothills area now and me and my friends used to hang out 1986-87 with a bonfire where Centennial High is now and me and my Dad/Uncle's/cousins used to hunt rabbits where Organ Mountain/Onate High is now. It was the news of the century when Mesilla Valley Mall opened (1981). I even watched Aggies play where the present day Nursing college is located.

My hometown and my family has a history that has been covered up with OSS Project Paperclip and the development of NASA and the atomic bomb.

The population is around 114,000 not 212,000. Also the housing market is expensive. it is still a nice city I call home.

He failed to mention the crime has grown as well. There’s nothing to do here but eat; lol!

Every city with the growth we have had will have a growth of crime. I even heard people from El Paso with the exactly the same comments. I work in a place that is 200 (probably even more than that) employees and 80 to 85 percent are from El Paso/Canutillo, Anthony, TX etc.

I've lived in Las Cruces my whole life. It's an uneventful, uninspired, no ambition city. People are pretentious. People have a big city mentality in a small city. Very boring.
