Greta reaction! This was a lot of fun! Ningen Isu translates as "The Human Chair", which is the title of a Japanese horror story written in 1925. The English translation was available on this video by hitting your cc button. He is praying to various deities from different cultures for happiness and love, which he says he has never had, and then at the end he realizes he should pray for everyone. As you may have surmised, Ningen Isu's main influence is Black Sabbath, and in fact Shinji Wajima even plays a Gibson SG as made famous by Tony Iommi. Shinji even has an Iommi autographed guitar. Just as the name Black Sabbath was taken from a Boris Karloff horror movie, Ningen Isu even took their band name from a similar source by using an old Japanese horror story title. Also, the bass player is a big fan of Gene Simmons from KISS, which is a big part of where the makeup comes from. Great to see old guys rocking out!
These Guys are an Inspiration to all aspiring musicians, etc. Young or Old! To dedicate & sacrifice oneself to Slog it through no matter the odds against you! Ningen Isu are 1st Rate musicians & my Heroes! Head Bang & Rock On Mates! 🔥🤘🔥
Ningen Isu are an amazing band! Check out their newest song: Farewell To The World Their 22nd album was just released a couple months ago. "Heartless Scat" (and yeah the singing style) was their breakthrough song in the west, as it took off on youtube.. and actually they did a mini tour right before covid hit for the first time outside Japan and played in London Underworld on 2020-02-21

They are not so old as they look, they are born 1965 and 1966. So, they are, all three of them, maybe 55 when this video was made.
