More mental health ones would be so lovely. Sucks terribly because feeling upset about getting help in a life or death situation due to the employment is a horrible, hopeless feeling. Thank you for being a light I didn’t know I could exist in this situation.
I'm going to be a TOTAL tool and say this, but there is a whole mental health/depression playlist on my channel with over 20 videos and tons of actual therapies like CBT/DBT/etc. (alphabet soup)
Loved this content. I enjoyed the reassurance before blood works and needles to be very smooth and non-anxious. I would love to see more videos on trypanophobia (extreme fear of medical procedures like blood works and needles). Many people suffer through this fear so, this type of content may relax them so they can overcome.

Thank you so much. Deep breathing is getting easier and less intimidating for me. I feel safe and calm when I watch your videos. So wish this video was around the first time I had a panic attack. I was 13 or 14 and it was midnight and I thought I was DYING. So my very “smart” idea was to lay in bed and cry myself to sleep as I died so as to avoid the hospital. This would have helped a lot and probably would’ve helped me to gather the nerve to seek help if it didn’t stop.

It depends on the kind of medication you need. If it's a long lasting one, like saline or if someone needs to stay in the hospital for a while, then yes, you would use that plastic tube he showed (they are called gelcos). If it's just a quick medication like a painkiller/antibiotic or drawing some blood, you would use a needle (called a butterfly catheter)
@@Kamila-ey5vi this is mind blowing. I’ve had one of those butterfly catheters before when getting blood drawn but I thought the gelcos (as you have taught me) were needles too 😭 that would hurt

Most don't until they're out of residency and things have slowed down. ER tends to have the most time off of any other specialty, but the worst sleep schedule. (Military physician here, that's how I know)
