Instead of Harper understanding or being sensitive about Abbey's feelings, Harper made it about Harper. 4) Harper was so worried about being outed she didn't spend anytime Abbey and continued to leave her alone with Harpers weird family. 5) Harper flirted and gave her EX hope of them getting back together. Harper being Gay had nothing to do with her flirting.
Yea fr Harper was a trashy girlfriend honestly i know how hard it is to come out cuz i came out and my parents didn’t accept me but honestly i wouldn’t want to put my gf or bf or partner through the same thing like i understand why Harper didn’t say anything but she shouldn’t have left Abby alone when she went to the party or went off with Conner. Hell even Conner had a feeling something was going on with Harper after they broke up. But thing is with Abby, she’s was too forgiving to Harper I would have just went home and broke up with Harper for good! But another thing that bothered me was when Harper flirted with Conner but got mad when Abby was chilling and talking to Riley like girl!
honestly, though people ship them, i see why abby ends up with harper instead of riley. her story is much different, and harper and abby are in love. it doesn't just change in two days of meeting someone else. harper felt terrible and apologized for her actions and promised never to hurt abby again.
Can we get a petition for a sequel? I think they need to bring the cast back together where they can have Harper and Abby play matchmaker for Riley. Hilarity ensues and Riley can find her special love in a surprising yet oh so perfectly holiday way. Plus we can't leave Aubrey Plazza hanging right?
I think we needed more scenes before they went to stay with harper’s family of Harper and Abby being the perfect couple that josh said they were . I think letting us see this would’ve made more people want to root for that relationship.
my girlfriend isnt out to her parents, and she probably never will due to her cultural background and values;so i could defnitely relate, btw we've been together for 9 yrs
ten for us and she did come out but only like two years ago, maybe? apparently a lot of people couldn't relate and i'm happy for them, but i wish they'd have a little more empathy for people who really struggle.
@@the_fynethyme it’s not the coming out that people have a problem with it’s the fact that Harper lied to Abby multiple times and put her in a uncomfortable situation and gave her trust issues
@@mabel_4538 all of that is internalized homophobia, and no one is excusing those actions. but that is not who she is, and she deserved a second chance.
I never saw Abby and Riley as more than friends I just saw them as having a safe space with each other to be themselves and having a commonality together
Yes!!! Why can't people just see that they are just friends? It kinda annoys me, seeing how many people want Abby to cheat, just cause Harper did one bad thing. And also, Abby was planning to propose. Why would she just cancel her plans to marry Harper just because she met Riley? Abby x Harper forever!!!
@@idkatthispoint4657 exactly! That’s such an important thing, it’s like how some people think if they’re friend (who’s the same gender as themselves) comes out as gay, they must like them.
The truth is that the entire Caldwell family (except for Jane) is just toxic, so the minute Harper gets into that toxic environment and having grown up in it, she starts acting like them to get their validation and aproval, sidelining Abby in the process which is shitty. I understand Harper, when hiding who you are becomes instinctual, and almost and act of self preservation. However, nothing validates treatting your significant other like Abby was treatted, not only by Harper but the entire familly as well, but at the end of the day, I understand this was a movie, situations are exagerated and time is short to properlly resolve conflicts (though that might say something about the wrighting of the film). I enjoyed the movie, loved the cast, Riley was amazing (Aubrey Plaza, I'm in love with her), Harper was problematic, but she came aroud at the end, plus is hard for me to dislike her because I'm just obssesed with Mackenzie Davis, and John, John was everything. I do think they have ground for a better, more lighthearted sequel.
No denying Abby and Riley have chemistry but I would still choose a part 2 with harper and Abby as an actual couple doing couple things away from the toxicity
As much I understand why people want Abby and Riley to be together, instead Abby being with Harper. What Harper been doing to Abby, was little selfish and unfair to Abby. But it because Harper isn’t ready to, come out to her parent yet. Because she afraid to lose them and disowned. Also didn’t wants to lost Abby either. But I just saw this that Riley just really understand what Abby going through, just really feel bad for her, because Riley went through the same pain as Abby. I really don’t know if there was any, loving chemistry between them. I just think that Riley just feel sorry and bad for Abby. Because they have something in common and have been in a similar situation, plus I don’t that Abby want to or should be with Riley. Just because Harper kinda making a situation little hard for Abby. Also Abby only knows Riley for a few days and hardly know anything, much about Riley to even start a relationship with her. Harper is her girlfriend and Riley just stranger she just met. It’s a little weird that a movie one of the main character and minor character, really had no plot to the movie to end up endgame.
"Harper is pissing me of and Riley... is gorgeous." SAME! Also, I am just in love with this commentary so fucking much. It gave me so much joy after a very shitty day, so thank you!
I liked that Abby forgave Harper in the end and didn't get together with Riley, after all she was talking about asking her to marry her and that she loved her so much she wanted to spend her life with her and she was her person. The way Harper acted was not great but I understand it came from a place of fear, and fear can make us act very differently. I also think in the movie they should have focused a bit more on their relationship before the trip and during the holidays they should have focused a bit more on Harper's perspective. I think they focused to much on Abby's side and didn't show Harper's dilemma and emotions enough. That made people less able to empathize with Harper and if they make a sequel they really need to work on that.
i do agree but i think it’s sad people need to be in harper’s perspective to understand how she’s feeling and why she does the things she does. especially as a gay person.
@@sgtmianI empathize with her just fine and I also think that it's sad to imagine that people from the lgbt community have such a hard time empathizing with someone in this situation :(
I understand that but Harper shouldn't spend the night with her ex boyfriend, she shouldn't allow her family to humiliate Abby like that and she shouldn't lie to Abby and treat her like that, love isn't always enough we need to feel safe with the people we love we need respect and honesty..
She even spent all the time in the party flirting with her ex boyfriend if her sister didn't out them , Harper would be back with her ex boyfriend and Abby will be the made of honor when they get married..
@@sgtmiani understood Harper’s pov cuz my parents and sister never did approve of me being bi or non binary but honestly i would never do that to my partner or my bf or gf. Like leaving them alone or go off with friends and leave them alone like no way!
I love your video. I just saw this movie last night, and as a straight person, I wanted to compare my thoughts to someone's who is actually gay in case I was being unfair to the characters. But no, we seem to agree. When you were hesitating before saying how much you like Riley, I was talking to the screen: "Yes! Say it! Say it!" I loved your reaction.
I see your point. It was frustrating. However I still liked it. I was able to relate to it, since the family reminded me of my own... but I could never see my family become accepting like theirs did at the end
And the problem is not even the fact that Harper wasn't out to her family, because this is the reality for many LGBTQ people. It's just that she was selfish, she abandoned Riley and she was terrible towards Abbey. She wasn't too sympathetic of a character. She could have navigated this situation way better while staying closeted. Also, can we talk about how terrible it is that Harper's sister outed her? I don't think I could forgive my sister for doing something like that.
I'm an oddity. I am a hetero male. Happily married. The wife actually got me to watch this. And I absolutely love this movie and Abby and Harper are my new favorite film couple. I've watched it 3 times so far. Going for a fourth before I finally give it a break lol I cannot tell what this movie did to strike such a cord in me. The cast certainly has something to do with it. Perhaps also it's because it portrays a lesbian couple and it isn't raunchy but really sweet. It also taught me something. That if I should one day have a daughter that discovers she is gay. I do not want her to be afraid at all to tell me and her mother. And I will live my life hoping to instill that confidence in her.
It's totally fine to enjoy a movie about lesbians, as long as you aren't fetishizing them, which doesn't sound like the case. I mean, you can ship anything you like! There is a ton of chemistry between them, too, and they are PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER. Riley and Abby shippers back off please.
Abby and Harper are a beautiful couple. Watching how affection with Abby Harper is has taught me how to be more affectionate toward my wife. I learned a bit from it I hope that's something Clea Duvall was going for.
@@JPPW1982 Oh wow! That's great that you were able to take that from the movie! I want to be like them when I have a girlfriend someday. Also: Kristen Stewart in a suit is now what my whole life revolves around lol :)
I hope the best for you in your future I hope you get your Harper or your Abby which ever one you prefer. And I agree Kristin Stewart was killing it with the blazers. My favorite was at that country club when she was rocking the blazer and the dark lipstick. She has grown to be quite beautiful.
Me & my wife watched it the day it came out. Though we both would like a over all feel good lesbian movie, without struggles. I still feel like it was a good movie, and very relatable to those of us who have struggled with their families. I have a super religious family, and I related on how she felt scared and as though she had to be perfect in their eyes. It’s hard to think you may loose your whole family, especially your parents when you reveal who you truly are. I think people were hard on Harper, though there were a couple of incidents I agree could have been avoided, over all I think it came down to a VERY big fear...and when you’ve been raised in a family like that, and it’s been ingrained into your mind that things are just black & white...it’s hard to let go of that way of thinking. Not every persons story is as easy as some. And it’s usually people like Harper (and myself) who have families like that, that struggle the most, and deal with the most depression. Sometimes silently because we know people from both ends are judging us in some type of way. Sorry for the looong response lol but I think it’s commendable that Abby stuck by harpers side through it all. That shows true love, and when you love someone, you help them get through all obstacles in life. Especially one like this. My wife stuck it out through alllll the ups and downs with my family, and I’m so happy she did! 🥰🏳️🌈
Completely agree with everything you said. Families sometimes are really hard to deal with and situations like coming out, are specially hard. I liked Abby forgave Harper in the end.
I loved that people are just ignoring the whole purpose of the film, telling the audience that every story is different, also the fact that John himself said at the beginning of the film that abby and harper had a perfect relationship, obviously that harper did a lot of wrong things but she changed and in the end she took courage to say who she was, of course abby could choose not to stay but that’s not what she did, she chose to stay and love harper, and it’s just disgusting to see people hoping abby to cheat on her girlfriend
We're not rooting for Abby to cheat. We want her to end things with Harper, and find happiness elsewhere. Yes, every story is different, but it's not cool to blindside your significant other and put them through hell. Also, would Harper have come out had Sloane not outed her? She kept saying she was going to do it after the holidays, but considering how more difficult it was getting for her to be out in the middle of her dad's campaign, I doubt it would have happened (just like it didn't happen during the summer where she lied to Abby about coming out to her family). I can empathize with Harper because it still takes courage to not continue lying/hiding, but that doesn't excuse her behavior. also, I don't know why the writers felt the need to make Harper's plea about how she'll spend the rest of her life making it up to Abby. That's not a healthy base for a relationship. You shouldn't make your relationship about owing your significant other something. There were so many red flags with this relationship it was kind of hard not to root against them (and this was something easily seen before they even arrived at Harper's home).
Also it was LITERALLY 3 days of their relationship which Harper was under her ~kind of asshole~ Family's pressure... Every fing christmas movie have this kind of dynamic. Abby is ready to propose to her why do people think 3 days would make her cheat/change that?
@@kaahcs3289 THIS! hahaha as if any of them would break up with their live in gf who they want to propose to because she acted up (as far as we know) once
ahh i really dont ship abby and riley though! i mean theyre an adorable duo but abby was completely in love with someone else and we really didn't get to see that relationship very much at all
During the credits, the picture of the family at pride has Riley and another girl (the director of the movie, Clea DuVall, who's also an actor) hugging, so I guess Riley wound up with Clea and that's pretty freaking great
Same feelings about the characters. But over all I expected worse. I had really low expectations after seeing the trailer. And yes it is same as Lez Bomb but definitelly better actors and chemistry between characters.
7:41 I know it seems shocking but that conversation between the mom and the dad at the restaurant, is exactly the passing conversation I've heard from real life when a family is making comments about another family's child, the whole gay lifestyle blah blah. It's actually realistic. This is why movie like this is important to be made, regardless the genres... By the way, LOVE your reactions, Alex. I am counting the days when you react to this so THANK YOU!
100% agreed. but I also think that if we had seen more of abby and harper together as a happy couple, we wouldn't be so quick to ship abby&riley more than abby&harper. I mean, abby was about to propose, they already live together & abby said it herself that she doesn't recognize harper with her family. I'm game for an OT3 though.
I like watching your reactions because they're so wholesome and focus on the positives. While I understand that movies like this can have a lot to be improved upon, I still want to be able to just enjoy them. Movies are a form of escapism and even when they're not perfect I'd rather focus on what's good rather than everything that might be wrong with it. Often times when I see reviews of movies like this they're super critical and make me feel bad for enjoying them or point out flaws that I didn't notice that taint how I view my experience. I love how invested you get and just how excited you are about the same cute little moments that I am. It makes me feel validated and okay about just enjoying things for what they are.
I don’t think Harper’s character was fully redeemed for me because while I completely understand the fear I feel like she could have done some things differently or successfully avoided other things that hurt Abby.
I agree, i understand that it is hard for someone like harper to come out because of the way she was raised but i do think that in a situation like that it's only fair to spare your partner the drama. It was really hard for me to empathize with harper because of all the things she did that could be avoided
Having watched the Amanda the Jedi review of this about a dozen times, TH-cam decided to direct me to your channel for this. 5 minutes in on my first time and already loving your style. 💖 Also, you commenting Jane needs to be protected is just... yes. I want to adopt her into my family and wrap her in cotton. p.s. this movie gave me a girl crush on Aubrey Plaza. Not that that's hard, but OMG Riley is divine.
Honestly, I do feel that Abby and Harper had the best chemistry, but I'm glad they didn't go down that love triangles and whatnot because it might've turned kinda toxic. It's also cool that they showed two lesbians being able to bond, but not be romantically involved.
I liked the movie. My favourite character was Abby. I felt so bad for her :( And I shipped Abby and Riley as well. They looked really well together. Harper was okay but she pissed me a lot :D even I get her - her fear of being herself but to be honest? She didn´t think of Abby she just thought of herself and that wasn ´t nice. And John´s speech about coming out - God so true.
I love this movie. 😍 And I'm very protective of Harper. Bec I understand her struggles. I don't care if others viewed her as toxic, she acknowledged her flaws and redeemed herself in the end. ❤ I see the chemistry between Kristen & Aubrey but just as good buddies not lovers. Sorry not sorry. 🤷🏻♀
Yes, me too, I don't understand why they criticize Harper when they don't go through the same situation as her... awkward, having to choose between her person she loves or her parents, she doesn't want to lose anyone
@@tonihinh1995 Being not fully out myself, I can empathize with Harper's story as well, but she shouldn't have brought Abby into her mess. Lying about coming out and inviting Abby to her parents' home (who might have been homophobes) was such a big red flag for me, and that was within the first 20 minutes of this movie. If you're not ready to come out to your family, that's cool. Take your time, but don't make your significant other have to personally deal with it too.
I agree I'm not even a part of the LGBT but I just feel like a lot of people that are making these videos are out of the closet LGBT and I feel like I don't like the way some of that my acting towards people who are in the closet because them themselves we're the same way and I don't think you should just cut somebody off of stop dealing with them just because they haven't come out yet they will eventually nobody can live their whole life and secrecy unless they want to be miserable but I don't get the harshness on Harper's character
I think what’s the problem with this movie is, that it was to cookie cutter and clean smooth story. Through the whole movie as it was hardly any conflicts, beside Harper and her oldest sister having a pickering sibling rivalry. That wasn’t really interesting to see as plus, mostly of the characters were somewhat too nice. Too likeable like Riley and John, John was someone annoying to me. He was somewhat judgemental, about Abby relationship with Harper. As never shown why, he felt like telling her that. Then he act like a matchmaker towards the ending, telling Abby that Harper was meant for each all of a sudden. I just mean I don’t like his or understand character, in the beginning of the movie he was being. A little unsure Abby relationship with Harper, to play cupid and bring them back together. I did not like Riley that much as she a little uninterested, she really doesn’t serve much purpose other than. Only been a small plot point about, of what kind of a person Harper is. And maybe giving Abby a small talk what, she should do with relationship with Harper. I think that Riley in my opinion, shouldn’t be in the story as she didn’t really need to be there. The writer could have given Jane that plot, and maybe Riley could appear in one scene and that it. The only I like and enjoy was Jane, rest of the counter was boring. Even Abby was playing boring and annoying, that Harper.
For me, the real bummer was not actually getting to see the proposal or them waking up Christmas morning together. The entire ending was a bit lackluster and maybe that's the point, that a samesex relationship can be just as mundane as a hetero one but I still felt there needed to be more closure like they focused too much on Harper messing things up and not enough time on her making up for it in a meaningful way and so the ending just felt rushed and not earned. As for the Riley or Harper debate, I'm torn. I'm a fan of both Mackenzie and Aubrey. I definitely think they should've made the apology from Harper to Riley a little more emotional and in a private situation, not right after an awkward scene. I was digging the friendship between Riley and Abby for sure but I didn't really see it as more than that. I think maybe Riley might've had a crush on Abby but I wasn't feeling the same vibes from Abby. They definitely let the ball slip with Aubrey, such an amazing actress and gave her such a shitty storyline. Could've at least given her more of a backstory rather than just the ex from high school who was treated badly and only appears in like 4 scenes . I wish this movie was more about it just being a silly Christmas romcom but alas it became more about the character's sexuality. As a whole, I'm not fond of the closeted/coming out story lines or the M/F to F/F storyline, they're all old hat at this point. I'm just waiting for a "Meet the Parents" but gay romcom. Hopefully they'll do a part 2 and it'll be a wedding romcom in which they'll actually show the proposal in a flashback and maybe this time we'll get to see some of Abby's exes lol.
Everyone knows it should’ve been Abby and Rieley that’s just a given, they both know what it’s like to be treated bad by Harper and to be honest they have such good chemistry in the movie they should’ve ended up together
I’m sorry but I didn’t see the chemistry between Abby and Harper at all. Not at all but immediately saw it between Abby and Riley. I actually thought she was going to end up with Riley not Harper. In fact, that would of been a better movie imho. But I get it, this was more about the family issues than it was about them being a couple. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Eh 🤷🏻♀️
@@ozbot77 You're right, but I have a lot more queer lady friends who stay YEARS longer than they should have than I do friends who are scared of commitment. I mean committing is kind of our thing lol
If Riley had outed Harper in high school, and she had to convince her parents she wasn’t even though she was, it would she made more sense for the story. Harper would be more nervous about coming out to her family (because she knew what would happen from before) and Riley wouldn’t seem as perfect.
My wife comes from a pretty strict Mormon family. We’ve been married for 9 years and I still have not met her family. Her mom recently started including me in holiday cards and started texting me and told us we’re welcome to come visit (they’re in Georgia and we’re in Alaska) , which is a step in the right direction. I kinda wrote them off years ago but I’m trying for my wife’s sake because I really think it would mean something to her.
I think abby and harper is a good match. Maybe its not fair for the audience that we dont have enough stories for harper n abby like all the cute meet and lovey dovey stuff. ( prequel please) . We just see harper at her worst time. I just want clea to make a cameo and riley introduce her as her gf.
I am totally happy with the ending, abby never looks at riley the way she looks at harper. And abby just met riley, they have known each for like 4 days and you want her to end up with riley at the end of the movie??? Yes, harper act badly sometimes but who doesn't? We are all toxic at some point of our relationship. The movie revolves more on harper not coming out and more on her family, we actually did not see how they started, how abby fell inlove with her, we really did not see how they are as couple when they are just the two of them. Would you not forgive someone you love who hurt you just because she is too afraid of showing her true self to her family? You should be first person to understand her, you should be the first person to trust her own process of when she's ready to come out. We all do poor decisions in life, so stop commenting like you are perfect in a relationship like you never hurt someone at some point. Give harper a chance to make it up with abby. I'd be happy if riley will have someone also in the movie if there will be a sequel. I have watched the movie for like 10x
by the end of the video you are (rightfully) so worked up by all the lesbian angst that your "HEY GIRL HEY" at riley had dwindled into a defeated "howa...hey" and that is when i lost it lmaooooo A+ content

All I really want is a sappy silly Hallmark wholesome lesbian movie. No coming out, just the protagonists who just happen to be out, lives, falling in love, & living their lives in a world with no homophobia.
19:36 periodt. My friends don’t understand why I haven’t forgiven my ex bsf that outed me. They say 3 years is too long to hold a grudge but I honestly didn’t give a fuck. She blackmailed me and took away something that I hoped would’ve been special.
Just saw this. Entertaining, with some great songs. The ending tied together a little too easily but it was charming. But I have to be honest, Kristen and Aubrey had amazing chemistry. They should have been the main couple. Makenzie should have played Aubrey’s character. Kristen was great, looking forward to seeing her in “SPENCER” as Princess Diana.
Lezbomb was better, i only liked this one because of the actors in it, I love victor and Kristen etc. but can we talk about how the parents sounded homophobic? I feel like we could have gotten a better movie if we saw the proposal or if we saw Harper actually fighting to get her back, I get the scare that Harper felt and why she blurted out that she’s not gay but at that point I feel like the movie was more about Harper and her sister. Hated her sister whatever her name is for just outing her, AND THEN GETS OFF THE HOOK THAT EASY!! ughh this movie 😬 I wanted to cry and feel emotions but nope, it was funny though I’ll give it that
I would have rather had Abby and Riley. I just feel like Harper was so toxic and didn't reciprocate the love that Abby had for her. I also couldn't get over the height difference.
I really enjoyed this one. Will be working it into my yearly rotation, which is getting a bit weird these days considering not only is this one in it, as well as classics like A Christmas Story, but I even have The Night Before, Bad Santa, and like 7 Hallmark films in the mix. From "unrated" raunchy down to wholesome TV Movie stuff. :O
OMG! Alex you are saying EXACTLY what I said when I watched this movie! 😂😂 I ship Abby and Riley😍. And Jane was the best and the mother was 🙄🤦🏽♀️. I hated the ending 😬
Honestly I think that the concept of the movie is interesting, but there are SEVERAL ways it could have been avoided from the start and the mistakes just pile on from there. Also, I think that harper does get forgiven pretty easily. It was clear that Abby was deeply in love with her from the beginning, but (if they wanted them to get back together after all harper did to hurt Abby), it should have been made more clear that "Hey, I'll give you another change, but this is the LAST chance, okay? No more second chances."
Overall cute corny movie, the lesbian couple was adorable, the actresses and actors did a good job , but I feel the actress Mackenzie matched well with the girl from Black Mirror On s3e4 , Abby and Riley matched perfect and the chemistry to me was there but AGAIN .my opinion, however the message behind the movie was good.

my girlfriend isnt out to her parents, and she probably never will due to her cultural background and values;so i could defnitely relate, btw we've been together for 9 yrs
ten for us and she did come out but only like two years ago, maybe? apparently a lot of people couldn't relate and i'm happy for them, but i wish they'd have a little more empathy for people who really struggle.
@@sgtmian absolutely I agree, so many people hating on the coming-out drama and not much empathy
I hear you. I'm in the same boat. Been with my girl for 5years now
I never saw Abby and Riley as more than friends I just saw them as having a safe space with each other to be themselves and having a commonality together
Yes!!! Why can't people just see that they are just friends? It kinda annoys me, seeing how many people want Abby to cheat, just cause Harper did one bad thing. And also, Abby was planning to propose. Why would she just cancel her plans to marry Harper just because she met Riley? Abby x Harper forever!!!
clea said it was really important for her to have another gay women who remained just friends with abby and show not all gay women have to date
@@idkatthispoint4657 Yes, exactly! I feel like some people assume that if there are two gay people, they immediately have to date.
Thissss al fin someone who says it
@@idkatthispoint4657 exactly! That’s such an important thing, it’s like how some people think if they’re friend (who’s the same gender as themselves) comes out as gay, they must like them.
I ship Habby but Abley is also cute together
Here is a petition you can sign for a sequel of Happiest Season: www.change.org/sequel-for-happiest-season
"Harper is pissing me of and Riley... is gorgeous."
SAME!
She punched me in the face lol same
I love your video.
Going for a fourth before I finally give it a break lol
I cannot tell what this movie did to strike such a cord in me.

@@JPPW1982 Aww thx definitely I will have an Abby lol. I hope you also have an amazing future :)
‘Can I ship her with me?’
Same 😂
It makes it so much better knowing Jane is the co-writer Mary Holland. Loved her in the movie.
“you gotta watch Riley. She’s gonna steal your girl.” Print that t-shirt. 🥰

Yeees thank you. Exactly my thoughts
That's the most upsetting part to me at this point lol I wanted to actually see them being together
During the credits, the picture of the family at pride has Riley and another girl (the director of the movie, Clea DuVall, who's also an actor) hugging, so I guess Riley wound up with Clea and that's pretty freaking great
You nailed it. Jane and John were the best and Abby would be better with Riley. Sequel with just those 4!
Same feelings about the characters. But over all I expected worse. I had really low expectations after seeing the trailer. And yes it is same as Lez Bomb but definitelly better actors and chemistry between characters.
Literally the whole family: Orphan 👀

I love how just once, Jane says the exact right thing at the exact right moment.
Abby and Harper obviously, Abby and Riley are stranger. As they only know each other, for a couple of days for. Them to ending up together.
I loved your reaction to Kristen Stewart's Las t outfit cause felt exactly the same way, even had to pause the movie for a few minutes
Girl me too. I almost spat out my drink when I saw her.
Same! I had to take a walk to my mailbox to cool off.
lmao your reaction to K-Stew saying "baby" was ME when i was watching! 😂
Your laugh was the best of the video, so contagious!!!!
Jane and John are the mvp of the movie
Platonic partners forever.
Also, you commenting Jane needs to be protected is just...

Alex your face throughout watching this is so cute and I love the film, watched it twice already lol
I need a sequel with Abby and Riley 🖤
They should just be a throuple with riley!
Everyone knows it should’ve been Abby and Rieley that’s just a given, they both know what it’s like to be treated bad by Harper and to be honest they have such good chemistry in the movie they should’ve ended up together
Mackenzie Davis ...what a versatile actress. She knows how to play very different roles. She's amazing a 10
Your reactions are so funny, I pretty much agreed with everything hahaha
I’m sorry but I didn’t see the chemistry between Abby and Harper at all. Not at all but immediately saw it between Abby and Riley. I actually thought she was going to end up with Riley not Harper. In fact, that would of been a better movie imho. But I get it, this was more about the family issues than it was about them being a couple. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Eh 🤷🏻♀️

Epic reaction! Where did you get that cool shirt?!
I think abby and harper is a good match. Maybe its not fair for the audience that we dont have enough stories for harper n abby like all the cute meet and lovey dovey stuff. ( prequel please) . We just see harper at her worst time. I just want clea to make a cameo and riley introduce her as her gf.
Schitts Creek written by Daniel Levy (John) took all of the Emmy's this year and it never speaks to homophobia. You must watch it
I am totally happy with the ending, abby never looks at riley the way she looks at harper.
I have watched the movie for like 10x

a lot of people want the cheating/rebound route, because that's what abby getting together with riley basically means.

All I really want is a sappy silly Hallmark wholesome lesbian movie. No coming out, just the protagonists who just happen to be out, lives, falling in love, & living their lives in a world with no homophobia.
I think you need to do a review of Wynonna Earp. You will love Waverly and Nicole.

21:24 very true
