Hopefully someone can answer this...I have a G20 330e and I like to use the auto climate setting. I set it to Auto and then set my temp but what is the purpose of setting the fan speed separately? shouldn't that turn auto off? Or is it a temporary setting and the system will revert back to full auto eventually? Or is there an "auto fan" setting I need to select? I am coming from Toyota/Lexus products where the system fully automates the vents and fan speed based on set temp and clicking the auto button. Adjusting the fan speed will turn auto mode off.

Is there a way to turn off the AC and turn on the heat only?

Hello, I'm having the same problem. I have a 2023 330i and it's beginning to get cold out. But I still haven't been able to control the heat or even get it started. If you find out, please share with me. Thank You.

@@jaibrown6153so basically if you push the microphone in your steering wheel and say command " Deactivate AC" you should then be able to have heat only. If throughout the day it gets warm simply push the microphone and say " Activate AC" and then the AC should work as usual.

@corinar.6205 Thank you so much, I will definitely try that. I live in Michigan and the winters get really cold, so having heat is the most important thing for me. I'll let you know if that works.

Anyone know why my max ax button is not functioning, could it have to do with the outside temperature? It is currently 32 degrees

When I sit with the climate on at 18 degrees at idle in a parking lot, the engine shakes. Why?

great tutorial. don't like the system where climate control is in the info screen. climate buttons are a lot more convenient in the older models and can be added to the memory buttons which they which they also discontinued. the old system could easily be used while driving, however, the new system takes your eyes off road for a much longer period of time with more reaching involved. in my opinion its more dangerous.

Great video, but what a horrible, horrible mess the system is ! Yes, you can adjust all sorts of stuff if you know how - but ... when you are driving a car without Autopilot ... nuts! On F10, for instance, you want cold air on your face, you slide the adjuster. You can do it blindfold. BMW are taking a wrong turn with a touchscreen interface on a car. They have forgotten the driver!
