    I've received and been using the Awol 3000 Pro for two weeks now, and here are my thoughts. Most video reviews show the projection with a red tint, but in reality, the colors are vibrant when viewed with the naked eye. The biggest advantage of this laser projector is its clarity: the focus is very sharp, every point is crisp, even when I project at 120 inches, and the blacks are deep enough. I didn't notice any lag during gaming, having tried racing and fighting games, and the brightness is sufficient. The downside is that the contrast isn't as high, making the overall picture look a bit dim, but you get used to it after a while. I'm curious to see how it compares to the 3500 Pro and whether that $1500 price difference really makes a significant impact.

      Are you saying the red hue is only present in the review videos, but not to names eyes?

    • @shijersey8336
      @shijersey8336 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jeremycai9782 yes, when you use a phone or camera to capture the screen, because the laser has a particularly wide color gamut, some sensors might not be able to handle it properly. They might react to this specific red light source, so the captured image might appears red. However, when you look at it with the naked eye, the color appears very normal.

    Is the projector the same as the older models 2500 and 3500? Do they all have the ricoh F2.0 glass lens or does this new model have this? I know DV and 3d is compatible with all models.

    Question:
    Will Dolby Vision automatically enable with the AWOL Vision 3000 Pro? I purchased the 1st generation (AWOL 3500) which didn't receive Dolby Vision certification, which made me doubt the quality of this brand's Dolby Vision promise. (I'm considering Formovie, Nexigo Aroura Pro and may this projector)

      I tested the hight model LTV 3500 on a white roan wall at 150". The projector shows perfectly, only with very high brightness, which reduces the visible contrast. The LTV 2500 model, with its brightness of 2000 ANSI, is much better suited for a simple white wall than the TOP model.

    Is the "Control 4" an upgrade for all their projectors or just the 3000pro? They need to redesign the location of the Firestick. My Firestick (have and tried several and new batt) has trouble connecting to the remote. Don't have that problem with any other device. It appears since the remote and AWOL are at almost the same level it is blocking the remote RF signal. Other than that I am super super happy with my 2500.

      The Awol came out on top of the UST laser projector tests in the Hook Up.
      The absence of the rainbow effect and speckle is a big plus, but in my view there is still room for improvement.
      They have to implement the latest official Google tv, instead to waist a HDMI port for the fireTV 4K stick.
      To process all this, a MediaTek Pentonic 1000 CPU is the most suitable CPU for this, together with 4 GB mem and 32 GB storage for apps, this CPU supports 4 HDMI ports (instead of 3 HDMI ports now) this chip has two 2.0 and two 2.1 HDMI ports.
      That would really live up to the name 'Awol pro'!
      I hope AWOL reads this too, i would buy it instantly.

    How does the brightness compare with Formovie Theatre and LTV-3500? Apparently the 3000 "peak" lumen is some marketing BS, and this unit actually has an ANSI lumen at either 2400 (according to AWOL CS) or 2600 (according to Vividstorm AU spec sheet). With 2400 uncalibrated ANSI lumen this seems pretty overpriced.

      He put the wrong one in the description. The 3000 shown here is around $3000. A 13 year old DLA will have half the brightness of this and won't be watchable during the day. The better black levels won't matter. In a pitch black room sure definitely can't beat them.
