Nice episode as always , Ice needs freezing temps to be produced so winter production only , and then its quite slow producing blocks unless it's a cold snap. The ice makers need to be exposed to these temps so outdoors is the only real spot to place them. I tend to have shelves with about 4K food items plus more for seeds and other stuff, and for this I tend to have about 10 ice makers . I tend to create a storage grid between all the shelves only allowing ice at a high priority . Ice melts in about a year , if there is enough to maintain a low temperature in the cellar.. As with normal cellar temperature management weirdness happens I've had my ice blocks, randomly it seems, melt at really fast rates for reasons I could not discern. Micromanaging I tend in late autumn to set up a storage area out the way where I store iceblocks of low hitpoints at a very high priority , which removes these about to melt blocks in the main food storage in anticipation of their high hitpoint replacements being made over the winter period. You'd only want this setup running during winter .
Thank you dave you answered all the questions I had for ice production. Its a shame I was really hoping to make an under ground freezer to make ice in. Back to the drawing board.
Your voice reminds me of Robin's brother in Robin hood prince of thieves, can you say the line from the end where he launches him from the catapult over the castle wall? (F**k me, he cleared it)
hi trashpandal. Its been a very long time since I've seen prince of thieves I will have to check it out just for this scene. I might be able to slip it in somewhere sneaky but no promises.
Best Going Medieval series on all of the TH-cams! (even more so with the rock music in this episode 🎶)
Cheers anthony, I really appreciate the sentiment and your far too kind. I'm really happy your enjoying the series mate thank you.

I say me lad, do you play Phoenix Point too? Almost as loverly as Going Medieval, but on a World Wide scale. 👍👍👑
No I hadn't heard of it, I just had a quick gander on steam. Looks like fun I'll definitely need to have a play. Cheers mate.
