If it's a '71 then it has the wrong turn signal lenses. '70 Novas were the only ones with clear turn signal lenses. Although it is some what rare to see a '70 that doesn't have fender louvers.
While this comment is quite old, I just saw it and thought I would set this straight. Because there was a strike at GM as the 71’s were being built, many early 71’s had the clear parking light lenses and small backup light lenses from 70. As the newer parts became available they were then used. So if this is an early build 71, then the lenses are correct for it. Search 1971 Nova advertisements and you’ll see two versions of a 71 sales ad with a yellow 2door exactly the same except for the later ad has the amber lenses.

No, you're wrong. Most '70 SS Novas were 350 cars, AND you could get a 396. In '71 all you could get in the SS Novas was a 350
