Yes, he did survive! Michael found him floating in the ocean. When Michael said "I thought you died" Jake said "I'm way too mean for that!"

@@gothicwolffreak it does have an alternate ending where the shark doesnt explode but rather just dies after being impaled and sinks.
@@gothicwolffreak It did have that in the ending, but I think a shark exploding randomly after getting impaled, they decided not to add onto the ridiculous impossibilities for fear of the audience completely brain farting.

Great video but, make the kill count for humans 19. In Jaws The Revenge, Jake didn't die. Michael Brody carries him out of the water after the Shark is killed.
I think that's in a version where they changed the ending so it's 19 or 20
