I had the pickup tube was cracked but looking at it, it didn't show, but capping off one end and airing the other end in a tub of water, lots of bubbles ! even knowing the exact spot where the crack was I couldn't see it. Pressure test them.
Yeah, I did piston rings piston tops on a 2003 Chevy trailblazer and I replace the piston rod bearings no, the car runs, smooth and quiet before didn’t have any power

The DD15 usually has low oil pressure. A check engine like will come on if the pressure is too low. @ idle pressure is at 15 psi
@@TATEXPRESSINC my 12.7 series 60 goes from 19-51 psi is that normal?
I call it as a bad design with all those oil tube lines .. at least make sure they ll stay on with all the vibration going on
Just had my o rings replaced on my dd15, after watching one of your old videos about this. How many miles should I go before I replace them again?

@David, thank you for watching. You should not have to do oil pick-up tube o-rings again once you have done them once. Be sure to keep a watch on oil pressure.
I’ve been told 400k then again at 800k. You don’t want to get cheap with oil pressure

What is normal oil temp on a new DD15.?? Loaded? Mines running 225-230. New to Detroit. 52k miles. Seems crazy high for me.
My Maxxforce 13 runs at 200-215 oil temp loaded at 70mph.
Hey TAT, quick question, does an old oil (delvec 15w40) can cause stop engine light to go off, when you are trying to stop,and the oil pressure goes down, because you are stopping? My driver didn’t change an oil on time, he was running for 22 k miles, instead changing it at 12-15 k. Now I’m trying to figure out is there a bigger problem,or just an oil change issue? He is driving Volvo-d13 engine

Hello tat, i bought some used Nissan UD GH13 which engine of volvo d13 and seems like my trucks are using 600litres to make 860Km.. And is sounds crazy.. Because other semi truck are using around 450litres to make same mileage as mentioned 860km
But mine is 600litres for 860km any ideas
Trucks doesn't smoke at all..
How many miles is on this engine?
300k miles 18k hours. A lot of idling

You do inframes on series 60?

Can u please help..I have a situation, on dt 12 automatic..after a cold soak it has trouble shifting from 5 to 7..but it does eventually shuft..
They reviews are pretty good, maybe you're looking at the wrong company, or you're focusing on the few bad reviews. Everybody can't make you happy, that's the same with businesses. They have a lot more good than bad.
@Ubu3, I recommend having the unit checked with DDDL software to self-test the Dt12 transmission for proper operation.
@@ubu3393 I got the same problem that’s call split pin bushing you gotta worm up yr truck at 150 then drive it other ways it’s drops from gear to another gear well the way change yr clutch and at the same time the split pin bushing and couple more things that I forgot the name well do it at the dealer cuz they got a tool that most of other repair shops doesn’t Good luck don’t forget do both clutch and Split pin bushing at the same time and other parts
