  • Welcome to Cedar Ridge Park on Belton Lake in Texas! Another Travel Small Live Big Campground Favorite - always wonderful to be lakeside! This quiet campground has two areas - we were in Cedar Ridge West and had a nice lakefront site with water and electric. We also had loads of deer visitors. Join us to see what this Texas campground has to offer!

We love those COE campgrounds. We stayed a week last winter (2021) in one at Waco Lake in Texas. Looking forward to more of your videos. Thanks

It was nice! Also the one to the West was nice. I wish we could have spent more time outside, but 🥶

Thanks for watching Mark! Other than the cold, this was a great spot! We are back at our home base - just a few months behind in editing & posting 🙄 but we will be heading back out in a month or so. Yipee!

Cedar Ridge (the other one west?) is one of our favorite COE parks. We have been there at least 3 times now. Since we live 90 miles from there, we will be back as we have friends and family in the Temple area.

We were at the West one - nice long sites, nice lake views and loads of deer! If we were 90 miles away we would go there often too!

ahh....new trailer. More space! Nice to see beyond West Coast. Amazed at how many man-made lakes there are. Found a CG that may be of interest in the future - Hualapai near Kingman, AZ. Mohave county parks. Weird spelling. Camped in TX once...last year. Devil's River State Park. River area - didn't like it / over-rated. very slow. Better in photos. Camping was fine - which is away from the river a bit. Very remote.

We love the trailer! I do have a tour video as well as why we bought it video. Texas was different - this place was nice. We found a free spot between Beaumont & Houston that was nice too. We completed a 24 state loop from Aug of 2021 to April of 2022 (I think around 50 videos from that trip) and are out on a second loop now.

@@TravelSmallLiveBig whoa tigers! :) still have ur sailing vids in the queue. u've got wanderlust! the "travel bug!" Yes, saw u had vids from Georgia, etc...but I'll skip those, not in my life plan. I just focus on SW USA and a few int'l places now - as far as camping / hibernating.

Nice place, lol deer poo is not that problem we have been having this week, dog poo hanging in trees.

It was nice! Wait, what? Is that from people flinging it or were there some floods? The coyotes here poop on rocks a lot and they have been pooping around us to let un know they are here.

@@TravelSmallLiveBig People deliberately hanging it there in Dog Poo bags. I suppose the people could be doing the same as the Coyotes LOL

@@DesmondsDonders OMG 😖 I have seen poop bags on a trail - like the human picked it up, but then left it. Why???? If you aren’t going to carry it to a trash can, fling it off the trail, but not in the bag. Ugh.

@@TravelSmallLiveBig Thanks for preparing me for that problem. We are checking out the camp grounds on Belton lake and that was one problem I didn't think about 😳. Come on people 🤨! Do the right thing and clean up after your pets if your going to take them🤨.

@@murraychadwick9362 Desmond’s Donders is in Scotland - he has the dog poop in the tree problem - we just had the “deer poop oh that looks tasty” to my dopey Lab 🤪😂
