I read that Jihad means striving to do good, for good, to avoid evil and to make oneself a better person. I watched a recent video of an eight year old boy called Jihad in Raffa collecting plant leaves for his Father. He looked completely exhausted and sad. He’d witnessed an elderly man being shot down by IDF soldiers and he said may God have mercy. Even living amongst the bombardment and destruction he had compassion and humanity. This makes me feel incredibly sad.
