Hey everyone! Thank you for watching. This video is an introduction to noise and hearing conservation. It's an early version of a video that we are planning to re-shoot and complete as full-length training video in early 2021. I hope the information in this video is entertaining and informational for you!

Hi Rachel, do you have an update on this re-shoot?

I got told I have early signs of hearing loss at 23 so I definitly need to better protect my hearing, Unfortunately there are plenty of stuff I cant unhear in the military like jets flying over my room and gunshots. "Military Grade" earplugs are crap

Very good stuff Rachel, a lot of people take this sense for granted until they are at risk of losing it!

Thanks so much! Yeah - this one is a big deal to me. It makes so much of a difference when people engage with their own health and safety at work.

Hey, I have recently become kind of obsessed with protecting my hearing. What earplugs can I buy that will give me the absolute highest protection?

Thankyou do ear muffs and plags work together ?

    • @AllySafety

Yes, it’s a common approach for high noise areas. As long as both are used correctly you get better noise reduction ratings from using both in combination.

Hi Rachel, thank you so much for making this video because everybody should definitely take wind to this message.
Careers such as construction work and music deals with loud sound and people can lose their hearing by that matter.
Also, another way of hearing loss is to have the volume of music turned up way too loud.
