spoiler is from a 78 king cobra from the junkyard, modified, cut, shaved, heated up and molded to fit the couple, then molded into the body lines of the car to eliminate "lines" and make it appear as one piece with the rear quarters.
these we made, bought another set from a bone yard and cut out the inner reds of the donors and the middle ambers from the keepers, dremeled cut the back ups then cut the reds, epoxied in the back ups.
awesome thanks, they look great. I'm thinking about trying the same thing with mine, i have a 78 cobra ii t-tops. thanks again, your car looks and sounds great

I own a 1977 Coupe (in my videos), unfortunately it is a V6 and I will convert to a V8, can you get a little more power from the model year 302, 140 HP is not enough, it should at least be 200 HP, or rather a Mustang VOX Battles, the 5.0L V8 already has 200 hp? I would be very happy about experiences. greetings from Germany
even the early FOX body 5.0 were only 173HP, but yes, you can get at least 200+ from the model year 302 by simply changing out the heads and cam. the model year 302's were de-tuned by the manufacturer due to the gas crisis of the mid-late 70's, every car being made at that time was de-tuned for economy. get different heads, bigger cam, new intake and carb, and you'll easily break into the mid200's and into the low 300HP range depending what you get.
i went really overboard on mine, the total build in parts, as my labor was just sweat equity, and the labor by my friends....came in just under 52k, however, that sort of includes a build on a build, as the first phase i made it an automatic and though i had all new suspension and brakes, they were originally new but stock...the next summer i changed over back to standard and changed out the rear end again, and went tubular front upper/lowers, coil over suspension and willwood brakes all around and caltrac traction, that alone came in around 15k, so had i done that from the start, the total build would have come in around 40k
it's the original dash, i took out the idiot lights, added a spot for another gauge then laminated it with a carbon fiber textured veneer, added pro-comp gauges, and a wiper switch from a K-10 blazer [since i used a flaming river steering column...i no longer had the wiper on the column] and that's it...a cool custom look to the original dash.
it is a tremec TKO-600. Tremec proto typed my car for this trans so the shifter points are in the "factory" location, did not have to cut my dash, or put on an oblong shift lever. with them prototyping off my car, i got the transmission at half price. was a very cool endeavor, saved me about 2500$ and put the shifter in the factory location.
This is closer to what the 74-78 mustang 2's should have been. they were hated for what they were, what we were given. built right they could have been awesome.
If I wasn't a Mustang II fan, I am now!! Fantastic job!!
I had a couple of Mustang IIs back in the 70s. I always liked them.
I’ve always thought these cars looked so damn awesome! Yours is no exception!

That car is fucking bad ass. Beautiful

Cool bad A car love it
Oh what they should have been. The bumper deletes and color schemes are perfect, let alone no 70s engines crud.
There no bumper deletes
Awesome !!
Very Nice!
Where did you get the spoiler for a coupe? I have a 75 with a 302 that I am gonna fix up
And whoa when did you get 2 mustangs
Sweet!!
Nice cobra
I got a '75, how much am I looking at spending for doing something like this 😩 just trying to find out

Very nice
Uncl Adam do you drag race with that car or with all of yo cars and yes other suscribers he's my uncl my mom is his sister.
Awesome 😎
I seen a post about 4 months ago that it's for sale.
Is it still?
yes, it is still for sale, the price is healthy though, at a firm 22k, but again, the build was just shy of 41k well worth it.
What is the rear spoiler you used off of?
was from a king cobra
Where did you get that dash, or was it custom made?
it's the original dash, i took out the idiot lights, added a spot for another gauge then laminated it with a carbon fiber textured veneer, added pro-comp gauges, and a wiper switch from a K-10 blazer [since i used a flaming river steering column...i no longer had the wiper on the column] and that's it...a cool custom look to the original dash.

Awesome car but the white gauges dont work for me. Black faces with white numbers would
What is a 347 stroker? Is it a 302 bored over ?
yes, longer throw crank and longer rods. 347 CID
Do you still have this ?
sure do.
Sweeeeeeet
347 what dude ?
it is a 347 stroker.
It's a Hopped up 302 come on man
So much hate to mustangs ii's but fuck it this one will shut them haters mouths lol love the car I need to find one

I like it but I still love my 82 gt mut more
It's a sacrilege calling that overgrown Pinto a Mustang. Ford stopped making mustangs in 1973 till 2005.
I own two of them ford named them so they are debs husband
Nope, 74’-2005
@@baptizedinblood86 shut the fuck up
Not one thing on a Mustang II from 1974-1978 will interchange on a pinto as far as body parts, front end, etc. Stop showing your ignorance idiot.
