That first dress was everything on her 👌 honestly some of the most beautiful beading and placement I’ve seen on this show . The fishtail was balancing and the off the shoulder was gorgeous !
Aside from being featured in a reality show, I don't know why any bride would give a tinker's damn what anyone else thinks about her dress ~ unless they're paying for it. Granted, I'm 'old' but I just went downtown on a Saturday, found a wedding dress, and brought it home. My friends did the same. None of us needed the approval of others.
Same here, first dress I tried on, was the perfect dress for me. It was just me and my mom. And my dress was $150. Looked like I spent a whole lot more!!! ❤
Randy is by far one of my favorite human beings❤ he just seems so kind and happy. I just wanna meet him and give him a big hug and buy him dinner 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This bride has the most beautiful curvaceous figure and I feel like they could have given her more flattering dresses to try on- I know people go in with an idea of what they want- but surely the consultants are the experts and know what will suit. I had that with my wedding dress. I was so unsuccessful and had tried on around 60. I went to a bridal boutique who did it differently. She wanted photos of the venue, flowers I liked, photos of me and the groom together, basically my mood board, and then she chose some for me to try on. The first one she put me in was the one. It was exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day- although I had never thought I wanted a lace a line with a sweetheart neckline! She gave me what I didn’t know I wanted by finding a dress that suited me and the whole vibe of the wedding!
I went alone both times to buy my wedding dresses. I got married the first time in 1978. In 2018 my sister married for the first time late in life. My granddaughters were junior bridesmaids. We were at the bridal salon getting the girls dresses. I said to my granddaughter that I got my first dress from the same place. My granddaughter looks at me and says “Dang grandma! You are old!”
Dang, you're "older", not "old." "Old" suggests you're from the past. We should all be lucky enough to live as long a life as is the natural progression in life.
I loved that first dress and it suited her. I thought it looked like an art piece, the middle part reminded me of koi fish and the bottom like the bottom of a waterfall.
@@mariesmith1616To be fair, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Plus, beauty goes beyond just physical appearance. I thought she and her family are a bit over confident which is sadly not appealing at all.
@jenniferrollison4377 there was DEFINITELY jealousy from the very beginning. Even before one dress was tried on the sister I knew that particular sister would be trouble from her reaction to the statement that the bride-to-be was the first to get married.

She should’ve been more on the A-line or fit and flare. She has great curves but mermaid makes her look like she’s restricted in movements. It just doesn’t flow to flatter her pretty shape. I know a lot of brides like mermaid but there are other styles can suit them better for their body types. The dress can be beautiful but the bride has to shine as a whole and feel like a bride.
I thought she looked like a queen in the first two dresses, and her sisters only liked her in the last dress that she looked the worst in. I hope she found the perfect combo that she was looking for.
Unfortunately many women come in wanting to fit their body into styles that their bodies don’t fit in or look flattering in. Trust me, I am not huge but I am a chunky gal so I have had to learn myself that some styles just don’t look good on me clothing wise. Not everyone needs a form fitted gown
My first dress my mother insisted on having made. I knew what l wanted and it was perfect. The second time l popped into Harrods on my own and found a beautiful Danish dress. Pretty lucky really. These TV brides have too many accompanying people with conflicting ideas.
i think those sisters were jealous that she's the first to get married. she cried in the second dress and seemed way less enthusiastic about the third. i liked the second dress more than the others. next time she goes shopping she should bring her mom and leave her sisters.
i wonder if she has scoliosis? the way that first dress is bunching up on one side is very familiar to me if that's the case she should probably avoid a figure-hugging dress because it's going to make her look even more lop-sided. but i have to admit the train on that 3rd dress was INCREDIBLE!
Some of these styles really weren't flattering on her, particularly the first one. Would like to see what a designer would put her in if they had completely free choice. I just felt they accentuated the wrong areas and were too over the top. That's a pretty woman, I'm sure she could find something that works better.
All of the ladies are pretty!! I do feel that bc she’s big busted that mermaid did nothing for her, but I would love to see her come back and find the perfect dress!!
I got married late 80s. My mom took me to the fabric district in NYC to try on samples to see what shaped dress I'd like and would look good. Then i went out myself and found a beautiful dress based on the silhouette that i liked. Everyone loved it and my mom surprised me and paid for it as a gift.
