Cheaters killed the BTZ game for me. The "Kill All Nests Instantly" mode is frustrating. It takes forever to get a game and then you're against cheaters.
I started playing dying light again yesterday because I heard about the new low gravity update. And as I was being the zombie, I noticed everyone I came across, just seemed to never run out of UV light. Tho I was getting kinda mad, I didn't think much of it. I figured they were really good at conserving it, or it was some sort of new UV upgrade. But I guess now I know why :/ They also almost always knew where I was at all times too. I couldn't even get close.

late to the video but just wanted to input my experiences with cheaters, before i started to become consistently good as the NH that i didn't know how many people cheated in DL but I don't mind the unlimited uv spammers since i've started to learn how to spit better and dodge their attacks constantly. the one game i didn't enjoy is i played a lobby of 3 and no matter how many times i killed them their lives wouldn't go down so after killing them 23 times and they were only able to take out 2 of my nests i decided to just leave, for most cheaters if i see they can one shot my nests i just leave, what's the point of letting them destroy all nests and get a "weapon upgrade" even though they for sure as hell don't need any more upgrades they can have the satisfaction of me leaving but not the satisfaction of letting them slap me with their cheating dicks all game until they take out all nests. I specially don't enjoy if you confront them about their cheats that most of them act stupid like "i'm not hacking, you just suck"

Man, I was thinking I am bad as zombie, but after watching this video, I see why my game is crushed after weird things happen, like insta destroed nests after my death and I face the guy who can't be takedown, it just interrupts every time when I press Q, but when I did it game was crashed..
The devs really just need to get documentation on as many of the cheaters and just sit on the stuff. Then release the new game and have a option to link your old game to the new one through your account. After about 2 weeks in then do a massive ban wave for the first game saying any accounts are also banned from all their products.
Nah, shadowban them from participating in multiplayer content, cause if you tell them they will just try to find a work around. Plus you still get to make money (legally) out of them if you just pair them with a bot or other cheaters.
I have a better solution, put them in a shadowban and create a separated server only for this, making all cheaters impossible to play with legit players, this will make them play the multiplayer only with other cheaters creating a circle of hate and frustration cause by themselves.

I think in the 3rd match the dude that self rezzed also had constant evades and interrupts since he didnt slip once every time you tried to tackle or pounce

2:20 I know this videos old but can I ask what kind of combo you did to kill him? You hit him with a UV suppressor, so he tossed a flare, then you ground pounded the flare and disabled it. Then you popped a UV shield, tethered the floor then pounced all at the same time? Did I get that right? I know you don’t have to be looking at the person you want to pounce but it’s been ages since I played BTZ mode and I never seen anyone use or bring up this “combo”.
What he did in full was he popped UV Supressor, ground pounded the flare to destroy it, used UV Heal to gain back his stamina and health right away then he pounced. In case you don't know what UV heal is for the Night Hunter basically you hold the UV Shield button and you gain back all of your stamina and health in an animation (the thing you thought that he was tethering to the ground) which costs 1 UV shield charge
You are pretty much right, I UV healed so I can get my health and UV stamina back to instantly be able to pounce the guy. Tendriling had nothing to do with that.

how do you hit then midair with tackle? and how do you hit them so much? whenever i try it they dodge every time. also, how do you zoom in? how do you recover from dodges and ground slam so fast? whenever i do it they usually always get at least one hit in on dodges, and 3 on missed ground slams
If you look up, you can tackle players above you, and under the right circumstances can tackle people who are mid air. I'm "zooming in" with my spit because I have the aim spit skill. As far as getting a ground pound after a missed tackle, I'm holding the button to GP before the animation ends, and I time it so I let go as soon the missed tackle animation finishes. It's fairly straight forward with enough practice.
Run into a few teleport cheaters The infinite UV cheaters don't really bother me all that much anymore. Just takes longer to win and a bit more strategy.
I'd love to see a DL re-imagined. Something without assists like falling into trash, etc. I think it'd be interesting. Also, I wonder how dlbb would have managed if it was in the base game, maybe as a game mode.

There was this one time i faced a cheater. But it was kinda an odd one. A claw would do no damage but sometimes. Random insta kill with a claw. And he revived one of my nests just to kill it again. He had a huge health bar.
I think I got a cheater a couple hours ago. The game would be playing normally, but whenever I get a successful pounce, I would slow down to a snails pace and the survivor would be able to UV normally, making it so he could counter my pounces when they should have gone through. Sadly, I couldn't confirm if he was a cheater, even though that happened twice, because after I killed him once, he quit out.

Added comment: Today I was killed by guys spawning in when NH sits on the rooftop entering the battle. Flares, guns, kicks and weapons three used before the game even started in Old Town, but I kicked their asses with two nests to go.
@@AussieGG that's sad I love this game I actually just releveled my toon but I never play with players or nighthunters enabled so i thankfully never have had to deal with cheaters I'm really paranoid about having something happen to my toon (I have heard cheaters can reset you and stuff idk of its true but I'm more of a solo player at heart and I work hard for my shit)
I'm not tackling mid air, in order to tackle the hunter has to be in a sprinting state and touching a surface, so I could have brushed a ledge or smth to trigger it

That's because cheating is allowed, its a solo play game, its an open source so you'll never find a normal player. It's not the "state of dying light", its a solo game, there's software for it.
Cheating isn’t allowed, it’s just that Techland barely do anything about it. There have been ban waves on PC a couple years back, and some patches fixing certain exploits, but that’s the limit of it.
@@AussieGG I do agree that the cheating aspect of this mode in particular needs to be handled. But in terms of the solo play, cheating has been in the game in the way that games such as payday 2 allow cheaters because of the lack of advantage anybody has on each other. Giving players the opportunity to kick a cheater if they don't want the extra help, but in hindsight, I do agree that this pvp mode needs be given a anti cheat of some sort to prevent the hacks from working when launching this mode. Software such as Wemod and essentially trainers that are open to the public need to update their trainers as well to prevent the online use of it. But it honestly seems slim of a chance especially since they're so focused on dying light 2 now.

I dunno, I'm newbie in this game, but i met guy who had 1.5x healthbar and fast as Sonic. Is that was cheater or just buffed with items? BTW I left the game cuz he could destroy my nests with flares in ten seconds (I slightly confused cuz I watched in youtube the guy who runned much faster just by using a bunch of items)
i remember one game as night hunter i found a cheater that spammed an unholy amount of uv flares got one kill and ground pounded them all ( they were all in one spot ) im not kidding when i say this it leveled me up 4 levels

Today I was killed by guys spawning in when NH sits on the rooftop entering the battle. Flares, guns, kicks and weapons three used before the game even started in Old Town, but I kicked their asses with two nests to go.
Can't you just play vac secured? Or is the cheating just that bad
VAC doesn’t make any difference as cheaters won’t get banned unfortunately
@@AussieGG that's sad I love this game I actually just releveled my toon but I never play with players or nighthunters enabled so i thankfully never have had to deal with cheaters I'm really paranoid about having something happen to my toon (I have heard cheaters can reset you and stuff idk of its true but I'm more of a solo player at heart and I work hard for my shit)
Even console isn't safe! Some people had modded flares that insta kill hives

I'm not tackling mid air, in order to tackle the hunter has to be in a sprinting state and touching a surface, so I could have brushed a ledge or smth to trigger it
@@AussieGG iam going to test and learn that, i really hope on dl2 they improve the btz whit new modes or even zombie teams, but most of all have a way to stop all cheaters.

That's because cheating is allowed, its a solo play game, its an open source so you'll never find a normal player. It's not the "state of dying light", its a solo game, there's software for it.
Cheating isn’t allowed, it’s just that Techland barely do anything about it. There have been ban waves on PC a couple years back, and some patches fixing certain exploits, but that’s the limit of it.
@@AussieGG I do agree that the cheating aspect of this mode in particular needs to be handled. But in terms of the solo play, cheating has been in the game in the way that games such as payday 2 allow cheaters because of the lack of advantage anybody has on each other. Giving players the opportunity to kick a cheater if they don't want the extra help, but in hindsight, I do agree that this pvp mode needs be given a anti cheat of some sort to prevent the hacks from working when launching this mode. Software such as Wemod and essentially trainers that are open to the public need to update their trainers as well to prevent the online use of it. But it honestly seems slim of a chance especially since they're so focused on dying light 2 now.
