    Nerida, thank you for sharing your Gua sha routine and this video. I like that you showed Gua sha for both muscle toning and lymphatic drainage. You are knowledgeable and generous with your knowledge. I appreciate that you share the why behind your instruction.

    Your neck and chest look so good, no sagging and crepiness... Do you use aha´s and retinol everyday on them too? Maybe do a demo of your AM routine to show us how much sunblock to use, and also how you use mineral powders too...

      Thank you...I use a little aha and retinol on my neck and chest, yes...maybe twice a week. Its a more sensitive area....so its easy to get irritated:))

    Hi Nerida!! Love your channel- I've learned so much from you over the years. Thank you for sharing so much with us!! I wanted to ask you about your thoughts on "high frequency wands"? I got a facial a few years ago and they used it on my face afterward. I bought one because they're pretty inexpensive but I haven't noticed much difference in my skin in the areas it claims to improve (wrinkles, eye circles, acne etc..)

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I think high frequency is great. But its great for acne or stimulating hair growth. Will not help with dark circles or wrinkles:))

    You mention face mapping in your other videos and this one. I’m an LMT but I do offer reflexology. I do a good bit of face massage and I wonder if you recommend a book or course to learn about the face mapping you refer to please? I’d like to study the map of the face you refer to for my practice.

      Home use...wash in soapy warm water, never hot, do not leave soaking in water, rinse well and use a soft towel to dry. (I use dawn liquid dish detergent, the blue one just a drop in a bowl of warm water or rub well, rinse and dry).

    I was wondering about massage just for the sake of massag, is there a time limit, i can massage my face up to an hour, can i go longer or it might cause damage?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare
      @NeridaJoySkincare  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      An hour is a long time..... But it depends on what type of massage you are doing and if your skin gets irritated or sensitive? I would not gua sha for an hour.... :))

    Hi nerida! Love your videos! I'm a new esthetician and I'm curious about the massage oil. Please correct me if im wrong but in my knowledge using products that have fragrance is not for people with sensitive skin, even if you're not allergic over time you can definitely build an intolerance to fragrance causing dermatitis. Is it still wise to use?

    • @NeridaJoySkincare

    I just had a facial yesterday with microdermabrasion and a mint/payaya peel, I am wondering if that is safe or if it was too much for a first time client? I have acne and i ound out sensitive skin. The experience made me breakout in a sunburn type redness to the point I felt like it was a chemical burn. Is that reaction normal?
