Anne Sophie von Otter is the undisputable jewel of this concert version of Berlioz masterpiece.
Anne Sofie Von Otter never disappoints.
And Berlioz.....Heavenly. 🙏🌹😇
Extraordinaria versión, probablemente la mejor que se pueda encontrar en youtube. ¡Muchas gracias!
Wonderful
Solti was an outstanding conductor in spite of the fact that as a human being e individual person, he was dementially egotistical, absolutely self-centered and incredibly self indulgent and quite paranoid as a person.
Great!

If I am not wrong that is because they are impersonating to the hell's demons. Also, the language was created by Berlioz so, it is not any real language.
That Berlioz expected people to sit through such excessively long works says much about his extreme magalomania. That people actrually DO sit through them...well, I'm at something of a loss to understand what exactly this means.
Back in the day a lot of people didn't have entertainment at their fingertips, and also if you payed good money you don't want it to last 2 minutes 😂
This masterpiece is a little over 2 hours. I can't imagine that being a daunting amount of time for an individual with intelligence and some level of sensitivity to sit and stay focused through.
@paulchristopher2135 if you go to a concert expecting such a duration, it would not be. For me, a musician, I know what I'm letting myself in for. For the "average concert goer,", however, it would be very hard. Especially since Berlioz is no Beethoven!
If you equate this work or any work of his with megalomania, you don’t understand Berlioz. You should study him before making such an ignorant statement.
Besides, it is utterly absorbing.@@geoycs
Que c'est mou... Berlioz doit faire des moulinets dans sa tombe.
Wonderful
