A different interpretation, but ok. On the whole this was a rather sterile performance from the soloist. All the notes were pretty much there, but I was left wanting some emotion, more give-and-take, brighter tempo in the last movement. There was little communication between the soloist and conductor. An ok, but not great Rach 2.

Superb movie music, nothing much more than that. However, the 3rd concerto is a work of genius. Imo. And the Rhapsody. Cant stand this 2nd anymore.
