Thanks heaps mate appreciate it. Hope you enjoy the video. I will looking to upgrade my camera and get a mic this year to make the production quality better. Just need to find a nice patch first. 👍🏽🍻
I don't at the moment but I am actually planning on making some very shortly. They will be uploaded on my vlog channel. The link to that channel is the first one in the video description
Love the videos bro keep n eye out for a yellow n brown bus up there named goldie, owners names alex he loves ya videos n hopes to cross paths with ya mate hes also running the gpx7000 n loves it
Cheers mate I greatly appreciate it. It goes a lot further now I started brewing my own beers. I can make over 20 litres of very tasty lagers and ales for half the price of a carton!!!! It’s was a tough season last season, that’s what prompted me to brewing over summer and it’s a good hobby. Hoping to have a good keg set up after this gold season, provided I keep on finding plenty!!! 😁🍻
AWSOME Shane and Zack well done 👍 guys Getting some deep ones ay Just spit on it Zack she be right mate lol lol 😂 Hope to be over next season mate with Red dog and BJ top blokes cheers 🍻 and Gaday to the family too bro CrouchOz
Cheers crouch. Haha the wood out this way is pretty lethal had times. The 7000 is pretty amazing machine, always continues to impress me. Might see ya about the flats next season brother. 🍻👍🏽
Always good to see you guys at it even though the going was tough. Good luck hunting the Shiny stuff and cannot wait for the next video. Take care and all the best.
Gidday Shane, is the daytime temps cooling down yet mate? I saw the gloves out for the morning detect so figured she might be cooling down overnight Hopefully you boys will bag out this season Cheers
Gday mate. We are just organizing our machinery for mining and then we are heading out. Pretty keen to start processing some dirt. Definitely getting cold at home, I’m ready to get out of here hahaha still nice and warm up north. 👍🏽🍻
@@WestOzAdventures Hope you do 👍I I Just had a great weekend detecting with Crouch, Shane Oz Gold rush and a few other youtubers. Bugger all Gold but had a few laughs 🍻
Hi Shane, having owned the 5000 and 7000, is the upgrade to the 7000 worth the outlay? My 4500 continues to produce, at the moment I dont feel I cant warrant the upgrade. Im Looking for some professional advice, as u have owned and ran both with very good success. Cheers BD
If your out there using it often enough then it is definitely worth the upgrade. I'm amazed what the 7000 gets that the 5000 missed. I mean I'd rake a line and thouroughly detect it with the 5000 and nothing, then nigel would get several from that rake line with the 7000. A lot less EMI compared to my 5000 also. Love the 7000, it's amazing!!
@@WestOzAdventures thanks mate. My 4500 is like my old landcruiser, I know she ain't going to let me down. Maybe keep the 4500 for a patch hunter and the 7000 for the clean up. I lov roaming new ground, not real into the old worked areas, when u have the time and a bit of luck ( research) it pays dividends. Thanks for your reply, good luck on the your next trip 👍
@@B.D1111 My suggestion..if you haven't yet, get yourself a Nuggetfinder Evolution coil. I recommend the 12' round. Made a ton of difference on my 5000 over the stock coil and some other coil(can't remember which) . Good luck!
@@snowvalley11 Thanks for the info snow. I run a 14 inch coiltek elite, also a great coil on the 4500. Using plenty of NF coils over the years, awesome coils. Im just a procrastinator 😁
Those pieces of gold are screamin'. Any tips on the settings? I used to fool around with different settings, testing here and there..got discouraged. Settled on just running in default. Any tips outside of default settings would be great. Thanks Shane!
Basically I just run it as sensitive as the ground conditions allow. I will use normal, high yield with full sensitivity. It’s very noisy and picks up every little hot rock.
Cheers mate. Been a bit of a long summer and I had no license so bit hard to get to work. I appreciate the concern mate, we are all happy and healthy here
Where have you been hiding? Just found your channel and enjoyed the crap out of that last video so about to go through your backlog and see what else you've been up to...cheers
Hey mate. I’m bloody stoked that you enjoyed the video and found me channel. For some reason TH-cam keeps hiding my channel away I think…. Hahaha. Plenty of content for you to go through mate. Enjoy and thanks for the comment 🍻🍻👍🏽👍🏽

Always hoping you'll find that nugget that weighs in the kilo/pounds range. I'm certain it's out there waiting. Great video. (Shame about those beers.)
@@WestOzAdventures that only means the material is a mix of old and highly weathered rocks. can you take some machinery in there and dig the ground more and do some processing? special permits?
I use white table sugar for priming so providing I can keep them stored at 20 degrees or over they should carb up in 7 days. It was cold at home so they took a bit longer. I’ll need kegs in summer so I can just bang it in, force carb it and have beers ready to go right away.
