I simply CANNOT believe how easy a technique that is to create something with so much visual appeal. Thanks so much for sharing this, I can't wait to try it out!
This is just beautiful!! Definitely will be making next time I make a charcuterie board. So happy to have come across your channel. Thank you for the inspiration.
I absolutely love the meat rose technique, thank you so much for sharing! I have a party this weekend, and I'm totally going to steal it. I like to put cheeses and meats around the edges of the board, with the looser materials like nuts and fruits in the middle. Unless the board has a lip to hold everything else in place. But then, when I make a charcuterie board, I'm usually transporting it in a moving vehicle. Do what makes sense for you 😊
Love the meat roses! They turned out really beautiful. I would add some smaller sized pepperoni flowers and increase the amount t of meat on the board. Also, I like my nuts in little ramekins. I’ve found that if you leave the nuts loose in the board like that, they pick up the moisture from the meats and are not crunchy anymore. Just something to think about. Thank you for the meat flower tutorial! Can’t wait to make various types and sizes on my next board!
This is wonderful thank you for sharing!!! I will definitely be giving this a try 😁 quick question where do you start from when going in to take meat away from the flower?
I must say making roses from deli meat like that was very impressive and simple. All looks beautiful , but I am wondering how someone can pick a slice of meat. Also it’s best to cut grapes in small pieces. You got my like:)
@@EverydayShortcuts I had the same question so thank you for your reply! This board looks beautiful and I would like to make something like this for Thanksgiving this year. Very helpful video!
I love these the only problem is how to get them apart when they are being served what utensil do you use and do they fall apart at that point. I've watched 3 tutorials and no one shows how to serve them
Beautiful job! I want to do this for the women on my job. I have a beautiful board (Smirly) & I just don't know how to carry it to work with all the delicacies.
Thank you. You could assemble the tray at home and cover it tightly with plastic wrap to prevent any spills or put everything in airtight containers and assemble it at the work place.
I don’t like the meat roses made in the shot glass but I love the large one. Is that a whole piece of chocolate on there? I love the design in it. You did a great job!
Thanks. Yes, it's a whole piece of chocolate. It's from ChocZero but they are sold out now. Here's the link in case they restock: shop.choczero.com?afmc=KETO&KETO&
Every time I’ve seen these near roses on a charcuterie- people seem to have to touch them too much to take their piece off. They’re pretty, but they sometimes do not pull apart easily.
It looks very festive but how do you eat the Salami or is it just for decoration? I just scrolled & saw someone asked the same question & you already answered. Thank you. I'm surely making this. ❤️CBS
How does one remove a meat "petal" from the meat "rose" to eat it? It was assembled upside-down. I would think that would complicate things greatly. Whose going to handle it to flip it over? #1, that would destroy the presentation #2, that would be unsanitary to do so Or, just leave it for looks or until someone grabs the whole thing. Yes, very attractive but impractical and confusing to anyone wanting a piece, not to mention turning it back upside down so people can grab a piece looks ugly. Then you might as well make a pyramid instead.
Yeah but how to get your meat slice without unraveling and falling all over all that work you put into it? Are you expecting ppl to use CLEAN fingers or will you have utensils to extract slices off the ‘roses’? Its pretty but your guests will need instructions for platter navigation.
Gorgeous, but, you must look like a savage trying to eat one. Even more of a savage after someone else fingers it up trying to get a slice before you. Off to the fridge to test my hypothesis. Must-go pepperoni meat roses on the way. Thank you
Yes, totally agree with this. My hands were washed when preparing and I was just making this one for my family. I have since purchased food safe gloves for future videos.

mine keep opening on the table :( idk what im doing wrong or if it is because of the salami size, any advice?
Sounds like maybe the meat pieces are too small. Are you layering until you can no longer see the inside of the glass?

How would you package something like this for transport. Or for sale?
You could use containers and then assemble at location. Or maybe saran wrap it tightly.
