Have many happy memories at Port Orleans Riverside, especially the food court. Meals were always consistently good, especially their breakfasts and dinners. I especially liked their pasta bar at dinner and omelette bar for breakfast. Liked their ice cream, or should I say their milkshakes. Spent a few night’s listening to Yeehaw Bob! I must say for a moderate hotel, you couldn’t go wrong, plenty to do at the hotel. I must say the grounds were spectacular, kept immaculate! I stayed in the plantation hotel and the alligator bayou hotels. Must say, we preferred the alligator bayou side. Had a few meals at Boatwrights as well. My husband loved their cornbread. My son loved their arcade, what 7 year old wouldn’t ( he was 7 when we first started going every year ). I believe he was in heaven! Lol! We spent quite a few mornings at the fishing hole as well, in fact we used hot dogs for bait, ever caught so much fish! Spoke volumes! That morning while fishing, we saw an otter floating by, followed by an alligator! Hope the otter got away! Thank you for bringing back happy memories for me of Port Orleans!
Donna it is our favorite resort. We love staying in Alligator Bayou. We remember that breakfast. They had the best sweet potato pancakes. Also remember when the sold beignets at both sides of the resort. The fantastic boat ride to springs makes for the fantastic location. Now that our son is a leader there it just brings it back full circle. Thank you so much for sharing your memories.
Totally agree. So much to do and has a perfect way to Disney Springs. It’s like your far away from everything but everything is whit in 20 minutes. One of our all time favorites….
The old Dixie Landings Resort! What a beautiful Resort. When we stayed there We took a carriage ride from Riverside to French Quarter and back to Riverside. We just might go there and try the same things you had. You brought back such a great memories... Thank you!! Coke and Ketchup!! Lol 😆 🤣
It really did bring back that old Disney for us. We absolutely love this resort and all the memories we made there, plus now when we go we can see our son lol. Hope all is well..
The chili looks amazing. The pot roast sounds wonderful. I like turkey but I’m just turkeid out. I prefer ham to turkey. That cheesecake looks wonderful. The burger yum

Thank you for taking us to the Riverside Resort ❤️ It has always been one of our favorite Resorts in Disney property We love the Riverside’s gift shop, it’s probably the only one that still has our beloved characters and it’s perfectly themed. Staying at the Riverside it’s a vacation on its own with no need to go anywhere else to have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. You are so right, Walt’s chili bread bowl would be much better if the bread was warm. The cinnamon roll looked amazing 🤩😋😍

Great tip at heating the bread bowl. It was probably so great warm. I love POR. We stayed there years ago and happened upon a small butterfly garden. It was small but lots of butterflies and even some bunnies. Great video :)
There are so many great little places to discover at this resort. The bread bowl warmed up was fantastic. We really can’t wait to go back and try more of there menu.
Very nostalgic for me as we stayed here a lot when our children were younger. It was the only hotel the 5 of us could fit in with that trundle bed so we could squeeze into 1 room. Many cinnamon rolls and Mickey waffles consumed in that dining room QS.

Wow that burger sounds really good. Now I'm slightly regretting not upgrading our resort to Riverside when we had the chance. We ultimately decided with 2 kids and Pop having the quick access to 2 parks via skyliner that it would be more beneficial. Plus we're the never at our resort type of people so seems silly to spend extra money on the resort. I rather spend it on snacks lol.
I don’t thank you can go wrong with pop. We have stayed there many times and have loved it. Go over and take a look around and you never know try it on your next trip.

Overall Brown Derby burger. Animal kingdom yak and yeti burger. Magic Kingdom and Epcot still haven’t found one lol. Quick service is a tuff one but this one at Riverside was fantastic. Disney Springs is tuff cause we haven’t tried enough of them. Resorts Rix’s at Coronado has some great ones and the one at 3 Bridges is really good..
I'm surprised you guys don't invest in a refillable mug when you have a bunch of QS resort visits around the same time since they're active for 2 weeks-- at $8 for the two of you you'd break even fairly quickly!
Technically those are for resort guest only so we aren’t able to get them. We do think there a great deal at 21.00 dollars a person win staying on property. Thanks for traveling along with us and have a fantastic weekend

I have stayed there before, it's nice that they have 2 Story and 3 story buildings as well as many quiet pools too
