I have ruined so many brushes with glue but I have recently discovered paint shapers. I use a 3/4 inch one most of the time. No brushes to clean and no more ruined brushes. And if you forget to clean your paint shaper, just bend it and dried paint and glue just peel off. A real game changer!!
I did add a few paint shapers to my supplies this year, and find them very interesting. I haven't liked them much for glue, but it's great you are finding them so useful. Thanks for sharing!
I love Murphy's Soap! I have saved countless brushes with it. Sometime I have to let things soak overnight, or even a few days alternating between hot water and the soap. I had 2 pairs of pants that I really loved and thought they were good for the trash because they were full of paint (acrylic paint but also wall paint as we are repainting our house) that wouldn't come out after several washes. I decided to give the Murphy's a try so I soaked the parts that had paint in pure Murphy's with a few drops of water) and put them in a plastic bag so they wouldn't dry out. They needed to soak 2 days and I needed to use a brush to get all the paint out but it worked!! I KEA sells these little yellow plastic pads that have bristles. They are a bit like the centre of your flower but much bigger and they have 2 different textures. They are very expensive and are intended for scrubbing vegetables but they are really great for cleaning brushes! (You can also clean your makeup brushes with them).
Yes, it works very well for brayers too. I love these color choices, a bit grungy ish but luminous. Thank you for sharing your art, learning a lot from your videos❤️
That cross hatch was so cool! I gasped, ooh'd and aww'd.
Thank you! I was so excited happy with how the colors turned out.
LOVE these! And all your OJT! 😂 So cool!

I also like paint shapers because if ever I apply too much paint or glue, I can just scrape it off with my paint shaper.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve always had better and quicker results adding some water to the Murphy Soap. Pretty prints!
Thank you! And thanks for sharing the tip.
I've soaked brushes in rubbing alcohol to clean dried paint off.
I haven't had much success with rubbing alcohol. I'm glad you have. I'll have to try it again some time. Thanks for sharing.

@@suzannerheaume8040 You're welcome, and thank you! I love the difference the Prussian blue made compared to my typical phthalo blue.
