Genuine question - I've been out of the WSI-specific head space for a while and struggling to think of good guests to invite onto the show. Let me know of (feasible) guests who have some name value you'd like to hear from by replying to this comment.
Good research and presentation is a rare thing. Legitimate presentation of classic wrestlers from a researcher point of view is also a niche in the market.
sean oliver interviewed him its not an easy watch. talented wrestler, smart wrestler and producer, not good at storytelling. for that with a european flair, nigel mcguinnes.
Absolutely love your work James, What you know is insane! & i love your common sense attitude towards things. I see a new vid with you in it, i like & watch, i don't care who the guest is (if there is one), here for you 👍

I've always wondered what Duke Droese has been up to since his Dumpster days, would be interested to hear his perspective on that gimmick and the "every wrestler also has a day job" era he found himself in, as I always found him likable and charismatic in a way that would have made him successful in any other era.
Story Time with Dutch has the two best podcasters ever! I have been watching wrestling, especially Dutch, since 81-82 ! Championship Wrestling from Florida was my go-to, with Mid-South, Memphis, Smoky Mountain, ECW (both Eastern and Extreme) AWA, and WCCW, Portland Wrestling, and GCW always being great, too! There are so many incredible talents in those territories, besting out WWF/WWE and when GCW turned into WCW (GCW was way better then WCW!) James you and Dutch are the greatest wrestling podcaster on streaming and youtube! There is so much great content out there by you to rewatch for many years! Thank you so much!
How about Downtown Bruno Lauer, aka Harvey Wippleman, or maybe Tony Anthony, the Dirty White Boy? James, we’ll be happy to see you, your guests and Dutch back whenever the time is right. I’m not going anywhere either. 😊
Keep up the good work, James. You are an excellent interviewer with a wry sense of humour. I look forward to what may come next from yourself, Dutch and Stevie.
Whatever you post I'll check it out. I really liked the ones you did with Stevie Richards, Don Muraco and of course, the Dutchman. Best of luck for the future for your baby, your wife and you! Keep on kickin' ass Dutch, we miss you!
Keep up the great work James, I love everything you put out, wherever it may be and whatever form it comes in. Congrats on the success & baby etc. Thanks for the hard work! 💪🏼🙏🏼
1.) You have a special chemistry with Dutch, hope he gets well soon! 2.) I prefer the long form videos much more than the short ones. Much prefer you put those out first.
thank you james , you have become the biggest star in the wrestling shoot biz and we love YOU and your TALENT ....please take your time and don,t worry we can wait because you / channel are great ....much love
You had Mosh, any chance of Thrasher? I've never seen him interviewed. Other random suggestions for people you dont see interviewed often.... D'lo Brown, IRS, Gangrel, Ron Simmons, Jacqueline
Congrats on your continued success James. Been watching since the Lanny Poffo interview, watched your show with Don Muraco, and now with Dutch and Stevie. And pretty much that right there explains why you're doing so well in the TH-cam space: you've always been
Jim Cornette WOULD be the holy grail…but I would truly LOVE to have someone on that could tell a few Nikolai Volkoff stories. He, by all accounts, was a lovely man…always lighthearted and joking…and possibly could give Mick Foley a run for his money with regards to saving money on the road. Sadly, only one interview exists online. As for the most ‘popular’ period; Attitude Era…Steve Blackman would be super. Evidently, one of the most legit badasses in history of wrestling.
Good Vibes and Best Wishes James. Enjoy watching everything that you release. If it's Collaborations or single you dot the i's and cross the T's , doing all your homework. Very professional attitude. Keep the info coming!!
I'd like to see you do interviews with Territory folks. Talking about the business and why they failed in their minds. My take is basic economics was a big part of killing the territories. A nice honest conversation with people who were part of the different territories. Obviously you want to stay away from a substance abuser. I think it would be interesting. A different take on what life was like for someone who made their career in a certain territory. Thank you
You and Stevie are killing it James! I’ve watched every episode and I am also a Patreon supporter. I’ve been with you since “Story Time With Dutch” began and I’ve watched several WSI videos and my two favorite episodes were your interviews you did with Bill “Ax” Eadie and Barry “Smash” Darsow, as Demolition is tied for my favorite tag team with The Steiners, whom I met in 1994 right before they left the WWF. I like your hosting style James as I can tell you’re having fun, which in turn makes it fun for the audience to watch! You’re my favorite host by far! I can’t even imagine how hard it is to interview different people because you never know what you’re getting into. I look forward to your upcoming interviews and new episodes with Dutch & Stevie’s shows! So far, my favorite episodes of “The Stevie Richards Show” have been the two episodes on the Right To Censor and my top favorite is The Many Lies of Hulk Hogan. The one story you mentioned but didn’t go into in detail on was the whole Hulk Hogan/Wembley Stadium/Make-A-Wish story you did cover on “Story Time With Dutch” on the episode where you and Dutch discussed Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk’s deaths in 2023. The whole time you were reading that story, I was laughing! Take Care James and cheers from Springfield, Ohio, BROTHER!
I'm with you my guy. I don't watch allll the time, but I love what I've seen. The likes of Warlord and others?.. Great stuff man. I like your apolitical/drama-free approach.
Just finished watching the raven 2024 interview again and saw this new video, what was ravens problem? I thought he gave some good new details of his life and stories, but wouldn't call him problematic, he's been this personality since the early 2000s ask Louis Theroux...but he didn't know who you'd be talking about 😅
Are you aware that about 12 minutes had to be cut from that interview (if I remember correctly) because they were just unusable? Raven is so clearly in the middle stages of an advancing dementia, it's not even remotely funny. He constantly forgets what he's talking about.
I'd prefer to watch the whole interview first. I end up watching all the clips, but never watch the video as I think I've seen most of it, even though I haven't. Either way, keep up the good work.
One of my Boys Stable would be Rick Martel -- I'd love to hear more from The Model! Please! My Boys Stable being Rick Martel, Earthquake, Sherri Martel (or Greg Valentine if she doesn't count), Ricky Starks and the Orient Express (Kato / Pat Tanaka) but I know some of those you wouldn't be able to get interviews with now sadly...
Absolutely love the show and all the great content man keep it up. Just out of curiosity non wrestling related have you ever heard of the English singer Sophie Burrell
FWIW, James.... I'm less inclined to watch a full length interview if I've already seen a load of clips cos I tend to assume I've seen all the best bits. (I always thought the point of clips was to give the long-form content a second lease of life once the engagement with the long version has started to fade..............?)
I think uploading the full shoot interview first then the clips after would make more sense. Viewers would be excited about a full shoot as opposed to clips darting around to the point of once you’ve seen the clips, then theres not much interest in the full shoot as we feel like we’ve got everything we needed from the clips by the time the full video rolls around.
It might be a bit niche for some but Greg Lambert would be good. Wrote 3 books on British wrestling and was involved in FWA during their peak in the mid 2000s
What about doing a series dedicated to British wrestlers, be it the actual sport here or with British wrestler who went to the USA , could be very interesting
Not sure how feesible. But I think an interview with Johnny Smith would be great. He would have stories about Dynamite, Calgary, Japan. I don't believe anybody has ever interviewed him! Interesting guy, apparently he met the promotors pay him what they wanted, he wore a jacket to the ring that a fan gave him. Think he was in the Police as well.
I'd love to just collaborate with you as a one time fan to fan basis, big fan, but i specifically would like to see you have an interview with Swerve or even Hangman, i get that it can be tricky. Cornette would be very interesting or maybe Arm Anderson (again i believe it would be).
Crossover episode with The Undertaker. Interview other big podcasters hosts would interesting. Riff about the ins and outs, pros and cons of running a pro wrestling pod
Another great story teller is golden boy Jerry Grey. He's hinted at issues with Billy Gunn and Pat Patterson in other interviews but never went into detail.
I personal preference is drop the full interview, then bite clips of it after for those who don't want to watch a long video. The problem with doing it the other way is after watching a bunch of bite sized clips, most of the full interview is redundant but not all it so I have to hunt for what I haven't heard and I rather not have to do that or listen to much of the same things twice. If doing it the other way gets you more views, so be it. I guess I'll just have to be more disciplined and ignore the small clips and wait for the full interview.
Something there's not a lot of is duo interviews with wrestlers. A lot of the guys have done plenty of solo interviews but you should try to get two guys who have history together in the same interview
I would like to see some old WCCW stars like Brian Adias , Iceman Parsons , etc. Dave Taylor , Norman Smiley , Ice Train , Bobby Walker , Italian Stallion , Kendall Windham , and Horace Hogan. Just some different names you Don't see a lot of interviews out of .

How bout Rip Rogers
Is Dustin Rhodes (Goldust) not fesible? I could listen to the man for hours.
Barry Horowitz
I hope to see an interview with Fit Finlay, as he has wrestled everybody, everywhere round the world in different promotions.
He also brought us Trish Stratus and others
I don’t think it’s possible as he’s still working in the wwe
sean oliver interviewed him its not an easy watch. talented wrestler, smart wrestler and producer, not good at storytelling.
for that with a european flair, nigel mcguinnes.
Terri Runnels would be good fun. 30 years later and I'm still obsessed with Marlena!
She ate newjack's unwashed ass 😂
Met her ftlow in Manchester, she was lovely and very engaging
She is well spoken too, compared to her contemporaries
Congrats on dad life, James. Keep up the great work!
Belated congrats on the baby! Hope everyone is well. God bless you and yours and God bless Dutch! Prayers are coming your way!

Love and enjoy your podcast James looking forward for more interviews
Bart Gunn would make for a good interview.
Thank you for all of your hard work, James! I will patiently wait for any new content from you. Your family comes first. You are a very decent man!☺
Big interview first then the clips later to make it easier to revisit certain parts after listening to or watching the full interview.
Exactly what I came here to say as well!
Absolutely love your work James, What you know is insane! & i love your common sense attitude towards things. I see a new vid with you in it, i like & watch, i don't care who the guest is (if there is one), here for you 👍
Raymond Rougeau is a fantastic storyteller.
He's a asshole in real life like his brother
