Great video. I like the added based areas. I might give this a try as i have a set of the Sector Imperialis terrain, and it might be a nice little addition for when they stack ontop of each other.
Love being able to see your terrain before painting, really helps my piece it together. I have to ask, how did you cut the doors off from the buildings? I have the new Volkus terrain that came with Hivestorm (before that, I only had the Octarius terrain) and was always wondering why GW didn't make the doors as separate pieces? My buildings are assembled already so cutting out the doors would probably be too much a pain, and I don't think they GW took them into account with their layout configurations. I would love to copy what you did with my Volkus terrain and add rubble piles but I am worried about not being able to properly set up the board configurations from the Dossier, like if the rubble parts get in the way of connecting solid walls between two terrain pieces - The Brutal and Kunning Expansion has an amazing layouts with new fortification pieces included and I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.
It was quite hard to cut out with a Stanley knife, not sure if I'd recommend trying it if you have already painted. As for the rubble, it does get a bit in the way, but if you mainly put it inside, or we're strategic with where it goes it would turn out OK.

Go for it! Geek gaming videos have a full tutorial. So easy takes no time to get looking good. Maybe a bit more time to get looking great
Looks good, can’t wait to see it painted.
You and me both! When it is I'll be sure to post again
