Great video! That is a cool idea with the smaller snapshots of action on the smaller boards that you move through to the next. Love the terrain pieces, I wanted to do bases for my Volkus set with nice looking rubble (something I have never tried before) but am at odds because many of the Volkus builds esp with Brutal and Cunning have the terrain pieces jutted up right next to each other.

Nice one KT, think your right re making the game you enjoy. Am tinkering with ideas so am very much enjoying your content. Am hopeful that GW may bring a bit more crunch to Killteam with a unified ruleset that can cover ideally any small tactical skirmish set up etc, thanks mate enjoyed this one

The idea of moving the board along as the mission progresses reminds me a lot of how the Dark Tide boardgame is played. the missions are setup to simulate moving through the underhive. I like the small board idea. and, really you're no close than if you're setting up on long edges.

Very very good boards KT, a few ideas sparking, 🤔 reckon the base technique would work cool with a hard urban ruin board, fill the cracks with debris and pipe sprue. KT May I ask your opinion if a 3 board L Shape setup would work or even a 5+ board, though I suppose that’s like doing Killteam with either multi team starts or a different larger setup like a Combat Patrol size+ Oo that’s given me a thought 👌nice one KT

As i am playing OPR Grimdark Future Firefight, normally played on a 4'x4' board, we play this on a 2'x'2' board. You really have to know what you are doing, because of the small boardsize, you get fire from everywhere or you are into melee combat really soon. We love to play on a smaller board, it speeds things up a lot.

That’s smart, terrain looks truly cinematic. Also reminds of old school video games with map frames - thus even cooler

I really like the idea of removing and then setting up a board section to give a more narrative PVE experience. Seems like the smaller set up would be handy for introductory games.

Played the first mission today. Once again really unclear language in the rules, do NPOs simply draw one card per turn? Not sure what other gambits they could play as they don’t get CP?

Sounds cool. Solo rules are important when players may not have a play group. Whereas co-op is good when one of the players is new to the game (so the more experienced player can guide them through a few missions in a non-competitive way).

Im yet to play a game of Kill Team, but learning the rules atm. I wondered if you could add units to a standard KT, snd assign them the npo stats. So, a unit of 5 poxwalkers to a plague guard team, or guards men accompanying an Angels of death team? Just to flesh it out and add "bait"!

Is this only in white dwarf or is there a download for it

I think the last two missions may have the maps misprinted. I think they need to be swapped. Look at the player dropzones and where the killzone edge markers

Looks great. As you said though, it might be tough to put bigger buildings on the board. Perhaps if the buildings had their own bases? Or would that make them too high and not blend into the rest of the board?
