Good show what length rod you use on the spindle real you started out with Hack? I know you use a 7.11" or 7.6" on bait caster. You said in a show close to your house? But just curious about spinning real rod length. Thnxs in advance.

I just want to thank Greg for the pic, handshake and autograph at KY Lake the other day. You Elite guys are awesome. We met and spoke with every angler in the top 12 plus Brandon P. All the guys were super nice and down to earth and were just like talking with my buddys at the boat ramp back home.

How do they find it in that thick grass? That’s wha to struggle with. Where I fish that stuff is so thick, never knew there were open layers in the middle/bottom

    Mr. Hackney,
I was wondering, do Pre Spawn bass stalk crappie beds during the crappie spawn like post spawn bass do to bluegill during the bluegill spawn?...

i fished Okissa when it first opened. it was awesome! when the word got out there was a massive meat haul out of that lake that went on for years. the lake flat our sucks now and has yet to recover. it is a shame.

10 years ago the Lake was great. But over the years it has gone downhill. Still has some nice bass in it. Nice video.

Sad deal that that lake isn’t kept to it’s full potential. LMBV hurt it and now no state funds for upkeep. I caught some big fish in that lake that should have been close to DD but were paper thin like the ones you see. Great to watch Hack break it down. Home Town Hammer

I agree with the misleading video comments. If punching grass with a 1 oz jig all day for a few undersized bass sounds like fun then by all means go to this lake. Like others said it’s a shame the way this lake was managed to go south so quickly because it’s a beautiful lake. So many better choices in south Mississippi to choose from....

John Rice what are some better choices in south Mississippi?

I’ve had the opportunity to fish this lake several times. What I find most disappointing from this video is how misleading it is. I have used the lures that he has described in this video at this location and it does not produce like it is shown in the video. Unfortunately, this lake is not what it used to be 10 years ago as the the state of Mississippi does not maintain it as it had been intended. If you are looking for a solid location that will produce, time and time again sadly you will be disappointed here.

Sounds like you can't fish as good as he can. We catch all the time there.

This lake sucks, I’ve been fishing it for the last few years and regret it everytime I go there. The few fish I have caught are deathly skinny. The lake lost federal funding and is now dieing. Soon there will be nothing left. You guys probably caught the last few fish in there. Don’t waste your time!!
