@@bergsprekken123 thanks for commenting. For the 300+ riders we recommend riding aluminum frames. The difference is related to fatigue life of the material. Although Carbon would easily handle riders above 350lbs the problem is that the carbon material will wear out prior to the expected life of a frame under normal usage. An aluminum frame would be able to handle the higher rider weight for longer period of time. Check out an American Stout
