That’s not how the 5% buff works. When they say they will buff your abilities by 5% it means only your core generators and spenders. Not any talents, passives etc. Judgement, crusader strike, BoJ, FV, DS, consecration, HoW and that’s it. Yes it’s bad and they can’t program what they say they will do and it’s angered me for years as a build crafter and taking a look at their code for their spells.
Yes its back but only 2 dinars instead of the 3 that we had in shadowlands, still good although we will have to choose very wisely our buys since a lot of stuff from the raid is good
i assume trinkets are the way to go, since they are usually the hardest to get, whereas a 2h weapon is possible from raid and m+ and it's not that important which weapon you get, especially at the beginning of a season ilvl is king.
At the moment herald is a bit too far behind templar in both damage and also reliability, but theres the posibility if they do a bit more buffs on herald
I feel like what we are lacking now is more so the priority or ST dps. Using Templar we are sort of ok AOE but bad ST/prio dmg where as Herald on live is bad AOE and bad prio/ST in M+ fights. If we can get some ST buff through our talent or baseline increase then I think we can become a S-tier dps in M+. I wouldn't compare with Shaman/DKs right now cause I feel like a nerf hammer is coming down for them. They are still tuning each class's talent tree and tier set but pretty sure once raid is released all the over performing specs are gonna get a ~5% nerf. Issue is that they never buff the underperforming specs and with paladins being one of the most played class and ret being the most played spec out of this class I can see further buffs coming. Also note that Prot is no longer the king for tanking so I feel like Ret is gonna shine.
You only get dinars at the last several weeks of the patch unless they changed when the dinars are available. Dinars in their current form won’t be a viable option unless you play to the very end of the season.
@lightbladegaming the raid system is time gated meaning that it automatically unlocks at the same rate for everyone. You can’t do anything to speed up the process. I watched izen video on the dinars
The problem is the disparity between our hero talents heralds stuff barely apears on our damage meters while templar talents are among the highest of them, this also creates problems with tier set synergy and our base non hero power kit, the good thing is this is barely a nerf and more of a redistribution of power
You got to love blizzards fail brain mentality shamans do 15 mil dps on both elemental and enha better nerf paladin and warriors makes sense they want to kill this expansion for good
ret pally feels currently so rng, the difference in dmg between mythic ansurek pulls is way too high, we got the rng from the ring, rng from crit which leads into huge differences in empyrean hammer dmg especially in aoe, divine purpose rng especially if you can use it with hammer of light, rng with wings proccs, rng with BoJ resets through autoattacks, rng with our mastery procc, rng if FV gives us a HoW charge or not, it feels like i am playing a las vegas holy knight...at least 30% of my dps is pure rng...i would wish for more consinstency... i know rng has to be a part of the game, so the combat feels more enganging, but in the end gear and skill should be by far the biggest impact on dps, not luck (for raid encounters)
@ZappBrannigan.. it's not, i am playing almost all classes, but evoker and ret is on the top when it comes to rng, i am doing way more consistent dps over several tries on other specs.
@ i havent noticed too much fluctuation in damage for aoe in dungeons so not sure. only noticable drops in damage is when other dps are absolutely blasting. maybe thats the same issue idk?
@@ZappBrannigan.. as i said i am referring to mythic raiding with add cleave, so not about m+, which feels rather ok, but blizzard has reacted to by nerfing empyrean hammer for s2, so it's mostly about st and add cleave, a difference in a scripted fight, of up to 500k dps between the best and worst is a bit much especially comparing to others.
Yeah i understand you, the RNG is felt a lot more in Raiding fights since they are shorter then a full m+ run so sometimes it doesnt even out, they also have small periods where adds apear so whatever class has damage at that time will blast them, however since we are tunned around using RNG wings and templar aoe crit rng for cleave i dont think they will change this much since it would unbalanced us in m+ either nerf or over buff us depending on the changes they do
@@mark883nm this probably just means we will be getting a buff near 11.1 launch or soon after. If we get too mamy buffs now we will end up eing nerfed :P
@ Since the rework blizz has made sure we are in a good spot so i trust we will still be there next season, also you never want to be the top dps in ptr season its just asking to be nerfed before launch

is the dinar system coming back for season 2 then? =o thats amazing if so. should be a thing every season!

If they nerf empirean hammers maybe we will switch to herald again?

I have a question I'm not sure why but why does final verdict feel so weak atm? Was it nerfed? Before I feel like it was stronger

Yeah they seem to be a bit too late in the season maybe they can put the a bit earlier, but still most ppl do push for rewards at the end anyways

@ yeah saw the same video i mean that maybe blizz can move the dinars a bit earlier before lauch
@ I really hope the do make the dinars available earlier, all I can do is put my faith in the light.
when does the season start?
new patch will be prob be ending of feb early march
No official date but probably end of feb
@@LightbladeGaming nice, I will be able to play then. Thought it was earlier but don't have much time rn
im sorry but what happened to them being HERO talents lmao shouldnt they be strong and most of our damage?..

with all the buffs other classes are receiving we are going to fall behind
I doubt we fall too far behind id say ret will always be a solid A in both raids and M+, we just scale too well with more stats
