The centenary is a coin that was minted for the first time in 1921 as current circulation currency to commemorate the first Centennial of Mexican Independence.
In 1931 its minting was suspended and it had to wait until 1943 to be able to return to the coin.
Considered by many to be the most beautiful coin in the world, one of the most sought after by collectors, not only for its weight in gold but also for the great history it contains.
