I give you both alot of credit for taking on so much at once. Raising a small child, owning a business and traveling with two boats has to be exhausting and wonderful. Thank you for sharing your journey with us
My parents are originally from Stone but moved to Canada in the 50's When they retired they bought a canal boat and kept it at my cousins boat yard in Stone . Ive been on those canals around Stone , so great to see them again and the church yard where some of my relatives are buried . Thanks for sharing your adventures
I love everything you both do. Do not even read one negative comment, they are not worth your time. Watching you with William reminds me of my life with my daughters in Alaska. We did with what we had and made it work and they are both old women now, as am I. What a life! You both have so much energy and work ethic. I just love watching you both and wishing I was young again. I would move to England and buy a narrow boat. But, until then, I will watch you both on your incredible journey. Love from America.
I'm so glad you're back, Girl you did great on your driving the boat. I love it when William laughs. He is so cute.I really enjoyed you feeding William pancake with banana. He loved it. you are a wonderful dad,and mom. Take care and God bless.
Just a small correction: to move a boat from one place to another is steering, or piloting or navigating. There are a few other terms, but I don't think driving is among them.
William is absolutely gorgeous. He’s really cute especially when he smiles. Lovely Scenery and cottages, William had a lovely time at the park, I loved his little chuckles. You did really well moving Holly on your own Jo, you are such a hard working couple and lovely parents to William too. Take care you 3. Lots of love. X
I always end up with a smile on my face when I've watched your vlog. They are always so positive; full of joy, interest - and love. Thank you Jo, Vic and adorable William ❤💕. Good boating Jo 👍👏👏 - you nailed it. Safe cruising.
Love to see you back. I can't believe how big William is getting. His eyes, they're so beautiful. Never seen such a combination of both parents in him, breathtaking. Enjoyed this little journey with you this morning with my coffee. Thank you!
Well done Jo. I never doubted you could manage Holly on your own. Beautiful morning mist on the canal. That's the advantage of living where you do. William is growing well.
I find it really interesting, fascinating and nostalgic even how small humans do so many of the same things at similar ages. Watching your videos has brought it all back to me. The constant removal of hats and/or socks. The reaction they have to almost any change in their circumstances. A reaction that lasts for about a minute (if you’re lucky) What? You’re changing my nappy? Meltdown. What? You’re putting warm pants on my constantly moving legs? Meltdown. Then there’s the highly amusing game of dropping objects, food, plastic, glass or anything within arm’s reach. Dropping things seemingly to then watch you proceed to pick it up for them, only to be dropped again. When this is food and you have a dog....well, that game will last for as long as the food lasts. Oh the memories, the joyful memories and amusing meltdown moments.
Thanks for this lovely video being taken on a delightful walk through this little village. The sights are beautiful and I enjoy seeing the response of William as to all that is going on around him. He is growing like a little weed. Next thing you know he will be steering the boat for you. Have a Blessed day.
That was beautiful. Jo, you did a great job on Holly by yourself. That was very windy and the sky was looking ominous. Love when you three take a walk around the county side. Very curious 🦆 . William’s occasional comments are always welcome 😊 Thanks for sharing. 🙏😊🤗 Kathy
It just amazes me how you two work this out so well together, Taking care of your sweet son, Zero, and Holly the Café Boat as well as yourselves!. Thanks for taking the time to make the videos and post them so that those of us who are so interested have this opportunity to go hither and yon on cruises and walks. see y’all next time from over here in Portland, Oregon!
Thanks to the 3 of you it’s great to have you back as I would imagine at this time of year it must be difficult. William is coming on so well you must be so proud. We love ya lots. Trevor & Linda xx
William is a handsome adorable little chap!! Loved how you two changed roles for a day and experiencing how Vic drives boat and videos which is difficult. Love the egg and banana recipe for pancake. Thanks!!
Well done Jo! Great to see you all on the move again. We used to have a toddler backpack when we first arrived in the UK 24 years ago. We used it with our son until he was 3 and we never had a pram. I agree, it makes traveling around with a toddler so much easier. I hope the winter weather and maintenance works don't hinder your travels too much but do allow you take see those beautiful early morning scenes.
I used to cycle down to my local lock as a child and just help with opening and closing the locks, it was great fun and narrow boat folk are so friendly!
What a wonderful video. I do like the part where you are walking around Aston Hall, such a picturesque looking place. William is becoming more communicative now, making all sorts of talky sounds, and mimicking Vic. Great times!
I love this, my great great grandparents were narrowboat dwellers who eventually settled in Great Haywood. Anyone born in Staffordshire in the 1970's was born at Groundslow Maternity Hospital/Stone. I grew up in Rugeley, but here I am living in central London where I've lived longer than I ever lived in Rugeley. I love these videos. Maybe one day I'll buy and live on a narrowboat???
Beautiful Autumn scenery! So lovely to see you three again and watching you just living a brilliant life! I am assuming that Holly closes for the Fall and Winter and resumes her services in the Spring and Summer when there's more people on the towpaths? Anyway, really enjoyed this trip...looking forward to seeing how things evolve as Will's starts walking...! You'll have to grow a few more sets of eyes and perhaps arms and legs too! LOL! xxx
Aw well done Jo getting Holly just as good as Vic and Vic did a great fathers task at looking after William. Great couple that work together know matter what. Take care.
Very good to see my favorite narrowboat family , and also to see your subsribers finally break 31.5 Soon you could use a toddler trailor for your bike, seen some that even works as a stroller. Enjoy your trip north, health & happiness.
Jo great boat move, well done. It's lovely how you share roles with watching William and boat moving. You both might not realise it now, but William will thank his mom and dad when he's old enough for buying boats and giving him an awsome life growing up on the canal with nature nurturing him. 💚
Oh it's so nice to see a good full video from you 3 ❤️. You did such an amazing job moving Holly, I was impressed 💐. And the little one is growing so fast ❤️. As always sending out a ton of love and positive thoughts and prayers dear friends. From your friend up here in the foothills of Mt Rainer, Washington state 👋
Cool video. Sitting here in the Waikato, New Zealand, sometimes I miss old blighty. The history, the places. Makes me think of Wordsworth, Shelly, Keats.
So great to see that you are on the move North. Hope you get to where you want to be for winter. Love the way you show some great Family time. William seems to enjoy being free so you’ll soon be at the stage of him wanting to walk everywhere 😄 Take care. Nick
I think the backpack for William is great. I used one for my boys (now all young men) and it was great for the parent/child bonding as well as very convenient! I had one which could also be like a chair too. They are good for traveling - don't take up much space either in cafes etc. Well done!
So glad you guys come back last week, always puts a smile on my face when I watch you guys. Williams a cracking little jolly chap, keep up the nature walks with him, he'll grow up very grounded.
I’ve only just stumbled upon your vlog! Binged watched 82 videos in 2 weeks, baked a cake for the first time and talked my husband into selling our VW Camper to get a NB 😂. What a wonderful vlog. You guys are such a inspiration. William is a Bobby dazzler. Hope you’re venturing further up the T&M to Northwich so I can grab a coffee off you. Surely the Anderton boat lift is a must for you guys? 🤷🏻♀️
Of all the things I thought I'd learn watching this channel.... a recipe for my almost 1 year old was not one of them! Sounds delicious and most importantly... easy. Cheers!
Doing it '" on me tod " so Northern, just fantastic Jo. Don't ever be tempted to lose that accent and Vic too. You all look great and sound perfect. Carry on.
Great video guys . Always enjoy watching them . Love narrow boats .We did a two week vacation on the Avon .Starting at Stafford upon Avon. Mid 80's this would have been .Best holiday we have had ,loved the locks, the villages, just boat life .If i win the lotto I will be getting one ,ha,ha . You talking about the green in the little villages brings me back .I have lived in Canada for 28 years .I do miss stuff like that . I was raised on Merseyside and lived there till I was 19 .Have a good one guys .
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Awesome job Jo , very rare to see a young woman so capable of what you do. Most young people cannot put a phone down long enough to enjoy the wonderful things life has to offer. Stay safe you 3 doing an amazing job with William. 👍🇦🇺
Very nice video Vic & Jo, I enjoy you taking us on your sight seeing tours of our lovely uk Canals & Country villages. Young Williams coming along Champion well done . Dave B. Thailand.
Yet another adorable vlog with the fine folks over at the Holly Boat Cafe. William is growing like a weed and getting cuter by the day. Well done, on the solo boating Jo, and WOW a robot driven cow milking farm; pretty trippy. See you all next time.
I'm very excited you're coming up to the Macc canal. That's on my weekend cycle route - so soon I can come down and meet you all and buy some cake!! When do you plan to hit the Macc?
Noticed the milestones 52 miles to Preston Brook which is in Cheshire about 8 miles from my home at Ellesmere Port where the Boat Museum is located which is worth a visit on a sunny day. 👍
I understood the locks better watching Jo's progress - especially in the last one where she had to empty it. Ah ha. I never thought about it much - now I will go and get educated ! 🦉📚

You guys are my absolute faves on TH-cam. I just dont understand why you havent got 100k subscribers yet. Your videos are so beautiful to watch.

I drive the boat, park it then go into the kitchen to make tea. Language is unimportant it's the activity that counts.

I see you're letting William build his immune system by crawling around on a pub floor !
Love seeing little William in his handknits. Someone loves that boy!

Nicely done, glad you're feeling better and finally moving 't North 🙂
Your videos delight me. I’ve always been fascinated by the canals; wished I could have traveled them. ❤️to your family.
A joke for Bill.
Butler; - Sir, there's a man at the door with a bill. Either that or it's a duck with a hat on.
That was pleasantly informative and pretty. Bill & Co are looking well. Take care....
Good job Jo!
