These are nice as cut then throw in the roller to make round. I make them small and want to do color star to crackle. I'm planning and 8 inch ball shell with red to green to crackle center mabey glitter to crackle havnt decided but thanks for sharing
@@micropyro7470 Is the high copper low bismuth mix louder than other way around ? Btw: use 5% dextrin works better and is still not too much. If you go higher say 10% noise goes down a lot. I can only speak for 65% CuO and 30% MgAl 5% Dextrin If you want to test it also works well !

Good day to you friend. I am not sure about your problem. I am not familiar with your formula. It looks like to me the problem lies in the bismuth subcabonate with lequier. I Do not know about this. I am only experienced with my formula. Yours doesn’t look the same. There are too many differences. I don’t use red lead. My magnalium is commercially made that I purchase ( to insure quality) and I use bismuth trioxide not bismuth subcabonate. I am not a professional. Just a hobbyist having some fun and learning along the way. Good luck to you. There are many resources on the internet.

Use bright Al powder 5% of weight,Nitrocellulose lacquer (10%) for binding..Gives more sound...

U should use 80-100 mesh mgal, it gives a louder bang, then can coated with titanium smolder composition

Just a old drill motor from a battery powered one. Then I hook up a variable dc power supply to control speed. Leave the gearing and chuck on too.

I wouldn't use that stick in the mix. crackle mix is very static sensitive!!!!!!! BOOM!!!!!!!!!
