So I feel like everyone on here that says they have large pores doesn't lol when I see them I'm like I wish I had pores that size. I literally have small swimming pools on my face. I have tried EVERYTHING no matter what I have done you could still see them.
Stephanie Lawson omg! I completely feel the same way! I have yet to see someone that really knows what large pores and oily skin really is! come on! lol the struggle is real! so none of this ever works for me! ever!! but I shall never give up! ;-)
Tammy B yes lol I will never give up! Ever! I'm glad someone can relate though. I thought I was literally the only one that had for real large pores lol
I feel the same way. My pores are so big I feel like SpongeBob Square Pants. Nothing has worked except Benefits Porefessional Primer (for the pores that aren't too ridiculous!)but even that rubs or clumps up and off if I put foundation on top of it.
She's pretty, humble, straightforward, great personality and The fact that she was singing Mulan's soundtrack "I'll make a man out of you" at the end of the video makes me like her even more!! Gosssh definitely subscribe!
I absolutely love that you made this video and you actually brought light to the rimmell powder so that just regular girls can see that buying a powder like this at a drugstore totally really does work and there's nothing wrong with it. I keep seeing video after video of people saying that the only powder that works is the $60 powder you buy at Ulta and I've been using rimmell powder forever and it definitely is a game changer it is
me too! my nose is covered in sebaceous filaments but when I cover them with foundation, no matter which brand I use, it sticks to any dry bits on my nose and chin and makes it look like I've super dry skin! I've tried all kinds of primers too!
have you tried nose strips? Also I use korean peeling gels. You just rub it on your skin and you can literally see all the dirt and stuff come off and ball up
Try exfoliating with coffee grinds. You can use fresh grinds or the one you used for your morning coffee. Take enough to cover your face and put it in a cup, then add honey. You can even add apple cider vinegar. Mix it up, then rub it onto your face, but focus more on the dry spots. Rinse it off, then moisturize.
I loved your short tutorial, I love that you used makeup that is familiar to a lot of woman. A lot of these tutorials that woman do use to many weird and unknown makeup, and it’s done really fast. Keep it Going.
i really have a large pores and its really make me down and low self-confident but after i watching this im really thankful too you for teach us your technique for beginner 😍 😘
Good video but your pores are not that large. I wish I had pores the size of yours! It's much harder to cover pores that are bigger than those. That's what I struggle with. I like to watch these kinda of videos to see what else I can do it help hide them.
I heard put your lotion or your primer on and use loose setting powder let that set and dryand then put your foundation on with a blender sponge blotting only and then using setting powder after. you can even go in again another time with the blender and more foundation. Or there's this technique to put your foundation on with a damp blender sponge. Just blot it do not rub... Look that one up.
You’re gorgeous! Love how you look like you’re holding back from laughing the whole time. You’re whole face smiles thru the whole video. Going to try your technique now 🤞🏻
You should try the Dr. Brandt Pores no More Pore Refiner aprimer is the best EVER!!! I wear it for special occasions when I want my skin to look really flawless 👌🏼 As well as Bioderma's Sebium Pore Refiner, if you wear these everyday post moisturizer it diminishes your pores on the long run, I love it!
First of all, enlarged pores DO NOT only occur with oily skin. I have large pores on my cheeks, and my skin is extremely DRY. Also, no pore-filling primer I have tried works to help my foundation not settle into my pores.
Finally a real person! Your gorgeous without the makeup lovely, your very bright! Dude I got so sick of seeing people with perfect pores and no bags under there eyes do makeup tutorials. Basically robots. Yay your not a robot!
Oh my some of these comments though. Kudos to you for pushing past the rude people 🤣 I loved this tutorial, thanks so much! I pray it helps my giant pores 🙏
Patrick Star seriously Lol. I wish I could wear drugstore makeup . I have to go for high end full coverage bc I have pores & acne :( . I feel drugstore makeup is for women with perfect skin lol because it’s a light to medium coverage and looks like skin .
You're so easy on the eyes. Your movements, the way your eyes look when you glance around, the way your lips move when you talk and smile...absolute Beauty. PS I'm not a lesbian I'm just someone that likes to acknowledge beauty. God bless ❤️
You said u hope we learned something new from your video--and i DID, Ahaha!🤗 you see i didnt even MAKE IT to the setting powder multiple times because i saw that after i applied the liquid foundation my pores looked even MORE HUGE!!!! And thus i was usually mortified, cleaned off my face ASAP, and thought “forget makeup! It makes my pores look even WORSE!” BUT, youve made me realize that its normal for them to look worse until it dries and u put setting powder on top ahaha😂so A HUGE THANKU FOR THAT! Also I loved the fact that you were listening to Mulan lol that was hilarious😂 oh, and can’t forget you also taught me not to brush the setting powder across the top because it will exacerbate the pores and yes I just realized that myself lol like as we are speaking ahahaha😅 I subscribed! Thank you again!❤
I’ll try your technique with setting powder and hopefully it will work for me 🤞I apply liquid or cream foundation with my fingers, massaging it like you did the primer, since my pores are gigantic, and the difference is huge! I will also try powder foundation with your setting powder technique, I very rarely use it because you can see my pores not in a nice way.
I find that using concealer reemphasizes my pores like little pin cushion cheeks but products like the estee edit white blue pressed powder works like a dream wet n wild and Milani also has some
I call it "chicken skin." I swear my skin looks like chicken skin after makeup! Just pluck off the feathers, and you get me! Used to have oily skin, now over 45 and dealing w dry skin, huge pores, and will break out if I try to fill them in! Impossible!!!
Your videos are awesome and also helpful for the beginners. These days I am having excess hairfall. Can you please suggest some ideas for stopping hairfall and getting a healthy hair??
hey Kat, great video as always, do you have any tips to get rid of texture on your skin, no pimple or scarring but weird texture on different parts of my face that have just shown up
The only thing I put on my face is mascara and some lipgloss because make up is just not my thing. It feels too heavy, and I don't feel free. But STILL I adore watching make up TH-camrs. I follow plenty. Your channel is awesome!!
Loved this video. Where can I get that black beauty blender? How long does it take you to blend? I don’t know what shade of foundation I am. I did go to the “find your shade” but 😏
Could you PLEASE Do a Video on How you put your Goddess Lashes on??? I know it may Sound Silly but I've seen some Major Guru's have Probs with them... trimming and gluing. Thanks
Great video I have enlarged pores and oily skin too. I did what you did and while the result was great, a few hours later I noticed around and on my nose, oil starting to come through and I could see the makeup in the pores themselves, like the foundation had whipped off in places almost, though this isn't the case. Do you have any tips on getting the makeup to stay on longer?xxx
I wish you woulda did one side with pore minimising makeup and the other without it but still using makeup so we can actually see the difference. Of course your gonna see all your pores on bare skin, but makeup usually kinda fills them in on their own by default so I'd rather see the side by side makeup to prove this technique actually works. Idk, I have yet to find any of these kinds of products actually do what they claim. As a consumer I find this to be extremely frustrating..
Wow you are so beautiful with and without makeup. I just don't know why so much thick make up. Too too much for me. I'm gonna try the IT Pore primer. Thanks for the tips
If anyone needed a pore-filling drugstore primer Revlon does a pore filling primer that’s great. They have a few different primers so make sure to read the label carefully :)
I know this was a long time ago but how do you get your skin to look so smooth?! I have combination skin with larger pores, I get hormonal acne, and my skin is super sensitive. I use the Urban Decay Optical Illusions Primer, sometimes the POREfessional, and the Too Faced Born His Way Foundation with a sponge. I also shave my entire face to get rid of peach fuzz but it still looks unsmooth and I don’t know what to do! Yours looks soooo smooth and I can tell you don’t use a filter in your videos.
Is the It Cosmetics primer really worth it? I have the loose powder and I LOVE it. I wasn't a fan of the pressed version. I've tried so many "pore filling" primers, Smashbox, Hard Candy, Benefit, Dr Brandt. Nothing works!
Jennifer Palmatier I haven't found one that works yet either :( I swear all the tips I've seen to minimize pores seem to make mine stand out even more. It's like the pores are defiant lol
Alucard Peach yes! Me too! I ha e tried every primer under the sun! Sometimes I'll even layer them. It sucks! But the Bye Bye Pores loose powder does work really well.
Jennifer Palmatier I might have to buy it in bulk if it works well lol Thanks for the recommendation! Always nice to hear from someone with the same problem with things not working- you have given me hope that maybe something finally will! I know my skin issues that I'm having now stems from not taking proper care of my face until my late 30s - I wish I could turn back time!
Alucard Peach Same here! I'm 27 but I didn't really get into skin care until a few years ago. By the way, a good dupe that worked for me was the ELF powder. It used to be called priming powder but I think they changed the name. It's a pressed translucent powder.
wow! ur make up looks amazing! just seen my first ever video of yours and found those tips very helpful...I have normal to dry skin and suffer with eczema also particularly on my eyes and underneath as well as my lips and I have lots of these pore like marks on my cheek & nose areas and I'm unfortunately not able to splurge on high end brands I've tried all the usual drugstore like rimmel maybelline etc but nothing seems to help disguise them infact I find it makes them look more obvious if anything. ..can you recommend any at all please? I love your make up look do you have a tutorial on it? new subbie from Cornwall UK xx
i have really sensitive skin and eczema as well! the struggle is real haha. i usually use physician's formula, pixi or milani primers without much issue, as long as I'm following a good skincare routine. if u can splurge, clinique and bare minerals always have the best primers and foundations for sensitive skin!
Fun fact for future reference ❤️ the Bye Bye Pores finishing powder isn’t really meant to “fill pores”....it has a base made of silica spheres that deflect light from the face and create a blurred “photoshopped” flawless look. If you use it sparingly (you only need a bit for a finishing powder) you won’t have a problem with flashback. Loved your video, I definitely needed to see you apply your pore minimizing primer because I never rub mine in enough and then it pills up when I apply foundation
Lindsay Dillon Check out Temptalia.com :) I use it when buying foundation online I've never swatched. The site has a foundation matrix section that finds you color matches in other brands, or you can determine what shade you are.
was slighty distracted whole video by how amazing your eye lashes look
Oh you
I know right?! i was just going to say the same. Her lashes look amazing.
what camera/lighting do you use? everything looked so good!
Katerina Williams I'm new to your channel! First video I've seen and all I want to know are what lashes are those?!
Katerina Williams nvm! Read through the comments to find the answer thank you!

Kelli Marissa hi, love your videos!
andrayathevampire they are the koko goddess lashes
Kelli Marissa same 😂😍😍
Sorry but your attempt at “cutesy talk” really annoyed me. Just talk normal, you’re grown. 🙄
Your eye color is gorgeous 😍
Aw thank you lovely :)
This was so helpful. And so easy to do with a few steps. Love it, Thank you!!!
SUPER helpful! I need that urban decay spray in my life ASAP
I'm glad I can help :)
First of all, enlarged pores DO NOT only occur with oily skin. I have large pores on my cheeks, and my skin is extremely DRY. Also, no pore-filling primer I have tried works to help my foundation not settle into my pores.

@@LindaQueLeenda no, not specially, but I would say it’s more dry.
She didn't say that you can't have enlarged pores on dry skin, just that with oily skin u r prone to having them rather than not...
Wow thank you .now im going to try that right away and since I'm a fan of it cosmetics I might go and buy it .but witch one do you prefer???
