Robert I know that there has always been unrest between us and protestants, us Irish know that better than most but lately it has really escalated into outright hatred, lies and slander. It is extremely difficult to stay calm and charitable when dealing with these people or watching their videos attacking our faith so I can only commend you and your level head in your reply. All this upset from the protestant side gives me so much hope for the whole Catholic Church. We have plenty of weak Catholics who become protestant but strong protestants become Catholic and I think this is the shake up we need. The numbers of protestants converting are high enough that it's irritating the protestants.
In this age of knowledge at our fingertips surely they can not claim ignorance about things that are so important.
I totally get that we are beyond blessed to be born Catholic and that Christ calls us to be charitable in our dealings with our protestant brothers and sisters but their attitude makes it so hard to not snap back.
God bless you and your family and this wonderful work that you are doing for Jesus 🙏

@memlagu no matter what is going on in the world around us we as Catholics have the assurance that God is Still In Control so I don't worry about the chaos in the world I just do my part in prayer for these chastisements to pass. Faith in Jesus removes all the worry because you know that He Knows What Is Best for the world in the long run 🙏

@memlagu ah thanks yourself for the reply 🥰 I'm not surprised about America and it being masonic, the protestants in the states are of Ulster origin, that's where the term hillbilly comes from. Extremely interesting rabbit hole to fall down 😂
It's only natural to be disheartened by the state of the world, I'm sure that even atheists are worried BUT what sets us apart is that we know that the battle is won. The Tomb is empty and the gates of heaven opened wide. It's a tatic of the evil one I think to get us to only see the here and now, to forget that we belong to God Himself and that a hefty price was paid for us. Turn to your Mighty Lord in humble prayer when you are overwhelmed and let Him Calm your heart ❤️ the surrender novena is a powerful short prayer, 4 or 5 minutes long but a great tool to help bring us back into the perspective of God and His Plan for our lives. Remember too that the most used phrase in The Holy Bible is be not afraid and every emotion comes from fear. Trust in Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour 🙏 God bless you and your family, let us both pray for each other 🙏 my name is Suzanne 🙏

They really believe what they say, and they say it out of love. We need to love them in return, by stating the truths of our Faith to them, not to win any “arguments”, but to share the joy of Christ in our midst, His Body and His Blood, His Soul and Divinity. We want them to share that joy with us! Because we love them!

    • @suzannelangdon
      @suzannelangdon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@MarjorieBurns-gu9tf there is no love in lies especially in the world we are living in today, it is so easy to actually find the truth of what people believe and why. They are spreading lies and slander and that is a very grave sin. There is very little point in engaging people like this, they have no interest in the truth. We can however pray for them, that will do far more for them than any pointless argument. Their words calling The Holy Eucharist demonic is heartbreaking and shows how far from Christ these people are so please do not be fooled into thinking that they are doing this out of love, the soul who calls Our Blessed Lord's Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity demonic has no love for God.

      I dunno Marjorie.
I had a chat with a protestant stranger a number of years ago. He referred regularly to "what the good book says"
I asked him what good book. He replied "the bible". He handed me a book containing 66 books. I told him that there is only one Bible and it contains 73 books, not 66 books.
Right from the get go - you can see the obstacles. He did not know that the Bible contains 73 books.
There are millions of protestants just like that stranger. They have zero knowledge of how their own "bible" is not authentic. It might be 90% authentic but it is not the whole truth. Much like protestantism unfortunately

i don't think they are all ignorant. many deliberately misrepresent the truth. The main problem, for a Protestant pastor to convert, they have to reevaluate how they will earn a living. in a lucrative ministry, there is no incentive to give that up to embrace another church, where you won't have such lucrative income.

    Dear Mr. Nugent,
I have viewed many of your videos and appreciate your love for our Blessed Lady and the Holy Catholic Church. Simply speaking, I look forward to your videos. You remind me of past Irish missionaries sharing the good news to a distant land.
I watched the episode “Not so Fast Vlad”. I had mixed thoughts due to past personal experiences with non-accountable individuals or fundamentalists. My suggestion, if you develop another Catholic apologetic video, is to keep the clips of the fundamentalists to an absolute minimum. Some of their statements were downright evil, such as the claim that the Crucifix is satanic.
I hope this is helpful, and I humbly suggest that you state their errors and refute them. Boldly proclaim the graces of our traditions surrounding the Crucifix and many of our glorious practices.
Again, I hope this is helpful, and if I overstepped my boundaries, I pre-apologize. You are in my rosary intentions.
    In Christ.

The power of the Eucharist. Jesus in scripture asked the disciples will you also leave ? After telling them unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood , you shall not have life with in you. If Jesus was only speaking of a remembrance why did some of the followers leave. And why would Jesus even present such a question if He did not mean what He said. Why not call them back and say wait that’s not what I meant. No ,He let them go and that is a hard word as it is written. May every Catholic and every follower of Christ find Him in the beautiful hidden form of bread and wine in the Eucharist. Eucharistic miracles are well worth finding. Jesus said if you seek Me , I will let You find Me. Send out Your Spirit!

If they are honest and seek the truth they would have invite a priest, an exorcist, or even just someone who knows about the Catholic faith to their show. Either we believe to the point of dying for the truth of Jesus, or we are warm believers.
