Loved this game as a kid. Used to get to cliff side and run out of lives.. made it to square one time but never got past that level. Thanks for uploading this 👍
Me when he gets the gold berry in every level: *Joker voice* And here... we... go Also, I loved watching this. I played this game when I was about 9 (30 now) and funnily I didn't beat it fully until I was 16 because Hopper scared me too bad as a kid lul
damn watching this makes me realize how bad this game was. it's been over 20 years since i last played it and watching the 2nd level gives me PTSD. i never managed to finish this game, not because it was hard but simply because i'd get lost and not being able to find the next level until i would eventually give up.
Is this a special version of the game? Some of the sound effects sound more high pitch, while most others sound exactly as I remember them. By the way, I never knew about the bonus stages on the first two levels, but I did know about the bonus level on the training level. Although I see this video doesn’t have the bonus level gained on the training level. Or does it happen to be the same bonus level as on of the other two already shown in the video?
This is the PC version. The PS1 and N64 releases of the game don't have the weird sound effects. The bonus levels are not tied to any specific level. They are unlocked by performing specific actions in any level. For one, you have to bounce on 5 different mushroom plants as I do in Anthill (though it has been speculated to be faster in Clover Forest). For another, you have to kill 5 grasshoppers without missing a berry throw. I used to do this one in Tunnels, but found it to be faster in Final Showdown. For the last, you butt slam 5 enemies in a row without missing. This is likely the one you entered via the Training level, but I chose to access it through Tunnels as the enemies are more readily available to squash. As you do those 3 actions in sequence, rings of colored "!" marks are shown around Flik, I suppose as a hint to unlock them all. They can be done in any order and at any point in the run. They each unlock a bonus movie clip. :)
Yeah. I was watching this part of the run a few days ago and was actually upset about this part. The Tree has a new route that saves 45 seconds so I'll be back to this category someday.
This game is so nostalgic. One of the first video games I ever played. You did great.
BYE BYE BUGGY
When Jumpyfluff got the world record:
"Ohhhh yeah"
Just pickin’ up grain, here.
This game has a place in my heart. It’s so nostalgic to watch this run of it. Thank you!
I'm blown away by the 2 bonus levels wth! Never knew they existed!

16:43 I should have thought about this tactic when I played it as a 7 year old...damn what a fool I was
this game is highly technical
This was the first game I owned on PS1.
Congratulations! I don't know how you improved by over 10 minutes.
I find intrinsic value in pushing my limits despite lack of serious competition. I only speedrun for myself.
@@Jumpyluff Well said! Our biggest critic is ourself.
NEED MORE GRAINE
Amazing
Fuckin goldberrys can give the RayGun a run for his money
Didn't know it was a TT game, but cool!
Dood i spent hours and didnt even get 100% . Thats cool though. You speedrunners are total legitness.
Didn't know the PC version was so scuffed. The sound effects sound horribly worse than on PS1.
Look dude
I can't keep liking all your WRS
XD

I talked to Flik about your feedback and he says he's sorry

Nice!
ps1 demo disc days
Now I found out there r bonus levels
Nice
This was a pleasure to watch. Question for you, the crack glitch in stage five, is it for any platform or just PC?
It works on every version. Check out the speedrun.com leaderboard for my runs on each release of the game
One more question, if you were to grind it out. Do you think the perfect run would be sub one hour and seven minutes?
@@gdinfernoboy2157 If I were to return to this category, my lofty goal would be 1:04.
@@Jumpyluff I can see that. It would be difficult Im sure, but doable
I struggled on this level so much when I was little 13:56
nice
Is it possible to defeat Molt without picking up a red Berry?
Yes!
dam bruh
Insane !!
I literally never seen these bonus levels wtf
25:00 Run's dead.
